SmartPolician: Apparently, you just graduated from your adult English class and are looking to practice your writing skills on Nairaland. Congrats on your graduation!
As for Tinubu, what he's currently doing is no different from what his predecessors did - one step forward and five steps backwards.
If Nigeria will ever attain unprecedented growth that will transform this country for good (the type witnessed in UAE, Singapore and China in less than 40 years), Tinubu is the wrongest person to drive the process because nobody can give what he doesn't have.
Like I always say, building infrastructure is basic; anyone can do it. Nigeria needs baggae-free, disciplined, focused and innovative leaders to place this country on the pathway to progress. These are traits Tinubu obviously lacks.
As for the opposition, you don't judge a man who hasn't been given an opportunity to hold an office before. Peter Obi, I assure you, will do a much better job than Tinubu on all fronts! Why respond with distress rather than composure in the face of positive discourse and visible developmental progress? Is antagonism so deeply ingrained that constructive achievements provoke resentment instead of reflection? One must wonder whether this inclination toward hostility is learned, nurtured, or simply embraced at the expense of reason and national interest. |

SmartPolician: Tinubu knows that most of these mega road projects may not even be completed in the next 15 years. That's why he always starts them from Lagos. Anyways, congratulations to the north. President Bola Tinubu and his supporters are advancing a campaign anchored on demonstrable achievements, while others persist in the dissemination of falsehoods. The opposition would be better served by consolidating their resources into productive ventures—perhaps even a catfish farming enterprise that delivers tangible value to Nigerians. In their present state, they fall far short of qualifying as a credible opposition ahead of 2027; seldom has such political inadequacy been so starkly evident in democratic history |

81% Done! The Ilorin-Jebba-Mokwa road is finally hitting the home stretch. If you’ve traveled this route lately, you already know,it’s a different world out there. Engr. Gana Zhitsu (the Federal Controller of Road, Kwara) just confirmed that the dualization is officially 81% complete. What’s even better than the new asphalt is seeing the impact on our people. I’ve been hearing a lot of great feedback from market leaders, residents along the corridor, and the drivers who use this road every day. They are genuinely commending the Federal Government for making this happen. It’s good to see the "Renewed Hope" vision actually translating into smooth roads. Big kudos to President Tinubu’s administration and especially Engr. David Umahi for keeping the pressure on to get this finished. Better roads mean better business for all of us in Kwara! 🇳🇬🙌 Thread on when it was repaired: https://www.nairaland.com/4683474/picture-ilorin-jebba-mokwa-road-completed-pmb
