fx45:With all due respect sir, please don't use this "afonja" slogan on me because am not part of those that would trade words with you on tribal lines. I am human first before tribe. If biafra wants full resource control, you have representation in the national assembly. Let them sponsor a bill seeking that. You can't eat your cake and have it. Let's learn to do things in the civil way. |
Edodefender:There is difference between IGR (internally generated Revenue) and federally controlled resources. All state generates funds which is the IGR and receives a monthly allocation from the Federal Government. By the way, Lagos generates more 70% of the VAT generated in Nigeria which constitutes the revenue FG shares among states. |
He is being charged of treason not for secession. Treason is a capital offense all over the world so he is not saying the truth. Ttipsy: |
Depends on the book you have been checking Which book can I check to get answers to my questions? |
I have been pondering on this issue for ages. I have searched religious books and asked some scholars about the religion of Adam (supposed first man on earth) but none has been n able to make good points. Was religion initiated after him or we that came after him brought about religious? |
Samleen:Well said, but did you compare the purchase value of that 1Ghc? Ghana did redecimalization whereby they removed some zeros from their currency. Phasing out of higher denomination can't work if Inflation rate is high. [15.1%]. It is when we have a lower inflation that the purchase power goes up which will reduce the need for higher denomination currency. Over dependence on foreign products too is a factor. When you are buying from people, they fell you what currency they want to be paid in. Although dollar is the most acceptable means of payment in the international market. Your currency don't have value if it's not in demand. Please don't compare naira with cedis. A 5000 cedis then has a value of around 5 cedis now. So what's the difference. Moreso, what will be bought with 5000 naira cost like 50 cedis in Ghana or more.

Why whip this kind of sentiment? You are all calling the government a bad name because one of the occupant is a known personality. How many other lagosians houses has been shut for one reason or the other but no screams of victimization. It's we the citizens that gives these politicians drive to act the way they want. Nobody queried the reason for the closure. Moreso she doesn't own the house and she isn't the only occupant Of the house |
Tbillz:am sure you are not an OOU student or you schooled there during the dark days of OSU. The 2013 set graduated last year, did convocation this January and are already in service now. Couple with the fact that there was a 6 months general strike in 2013. |
I knew it. This can't happen here in Nigeria. Why I go die for you?? |
