#Zaria_Massacre:Testimony of the Nigerian police at the JCI Today the Nigerian police testified in the Judicial Commission of Inquiry (JCI) on the #Zaria_Massacre. The Nigerian police was represented by DSP Kenneth Dika. Among the questions the Head of #JCI asked him was that which "#weapons" did the Nigerian Army recover from members of #IMN during the Zaria massacre and handed over to the Nigerian police? And DSP Kenneth Dika mentioned the following: 1. Locally-made pistol (1 piece) 2. Two petrol bombs 3. Bow & Arrows (21 pieces) 4. Slings (40 pieces) 5. MTN Sim cards 6. Reflecting Jacket (1 pieces) 7. Phones (18) 8. Phone chargers (17) 9. Eye glasses (3) Then the Head of JCI asked the police officer whether these "weapons" can destroy the residence of Sheikh #Zakzaky and Zaria #Husseiniyya? The police officer answered in the affirmative and pointed to the 2 petrol bombs! The Head of the JCI then told him that all these "weapons" that you mentioned can not destroy that door! Everybody in the JCI burst out laughing..... It is important to note that the Nigerian Army during the Zaria massacre were armed with sophisticated weapons that included AK-47 Assault rifles, Sniper rifles, APC ammoured vehicles, Battle Tanks, Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs), General Purpose Machine Guns etc..... The above "weapons" mentioned by the Nigerian police are not real weapons used in modern warfare, one can not fight an Army like the Nigerian Army that is armed with modern sophisticated weapons with such archaic impliments, Sim cards, phones, phone chargers and glasses! Bow & Arrows are still used in Africa for local hunting on the local level. And this testimony by the Nigerian police debunked the mischievous insinuations by the Nigerian Army that they were "shot at" by IMN members and they only retaliated in "self-defense". But the question is how can one called the brutal killing of close to 1000 unarmed Nigerian civilians as "self-defense"? Finally, It remain for Nigerians to judge if the Zaria killings was a "clash" between the Nigerian Army and the IMN as the Nigerian regime have been promoting or it was a brutal massacre that involved heavily-armed Nigerian soldiers and defenseless and unarmed Nigerian civilians. And all the facts are now emerging of what actually took place in Zaria on the 12th, 13, & 14th December, 2015, and the general picture is becoming clearer. The fact remained that there was never a clash between the Nigerian Army and the IMN, what happened was a brutal slaughter by the Nigerian Army of Nigerian civilians and dumping their dead bodies in mass Graves. #FreeZakzaky #GodProtectZakzaky Harun Elbinawi elbinawi@yahoo.com |
PRESS RELEASE - Nigeria: Army removes people from Katsina mosque Nigerian soldiers have removed worshippers from a mosque in Katsina, northern Nigeria, in what appears to be an escalating campaign against the country's Islamic Movement (IMN). Eye-witnesses reported that the soldiers, who were armed, first surrounded the Juma'at Mosque before entering the building and forcing out worshippers. IMN members deliberately stayed away from the mosque today in order to avoid any confrontation. Today's army action against the IMN came despite calls from IHRC on Wednesday 30 March for the British Foreign and the Commonwealth Secretariat to intervene and pressure Nigeria to stop its armed forces persecuting the IMN. The calls followed reports that Nigerian soldiers were massing in Katsina to attack followers of the movement. The army had setup roadblocks on almost all the major roads leading into Katsina and soldiers were heard chanting that this is “the end of the Shia in Katsina”. A similar chant was used before and during attacks on the movement in Zaria last December in which at least 1000 civilians were killed. Last week IHRC referred the events in Zaria to the International Criminal Court asking it to open a preliminary war crimes investigation into the massacre. IHRC believes that the army's assault was a systematic and pre-planned attempt to snuff out the IMN whose growing popularity has made it a thorn in the side of Nigerian governments. A similar army assault in July 2014 during a religious procession led to the deaths of 34 IMN members including three sons of Sheikh Zakzaky who were apparently singled out for execution. Army Besiege Friday mosque in Katsina: Another attack on Islam By Abdulmumin Giwa It would be very stupid for anyone to think the Nigerian Army is after the Shi'ite or members of the Islamic Movement in Katsina despite the fact that that is what they announce. This is an outright war against Islam and Muslims. How could the Army besiege a public place of worship on its holy day without any form of security breech? This is outright intimidation of innocent Muslims. They are turning the mosque into a testing ground before they begging to replicate the same thing in other places across the country. They started by attacking Shi'ites and their facilities and now they are moving to a public mosque that does not belong to Shi'ites simply because Shi'ites pray there. When they where their animal face and begging to kill indiscriminately as usual their victims will certainly not be Shi'ites alone, a lot of other innocent Muslims will be butchered. More so, it is a violation of religious rights for them to besiege the mosque under any pretext because the mosque is a place of solace and spiritual peace. contrary to this they are intimidating innocent worshipers and denying them that peace and solace. This is an issue of concern to the entire Muslims and not just the Shi'ites. When the government operated Boko Haram it started with bombing Churches and public gatherings and later resumed bombing mosques on Fridays. Now they have started with mass murder of Shi'ites and will now extend to the generality of Muslims. They want to intimidate the Muslims and kill the spirit of the religion. It is a sponsored program by the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia with each one playing a role and having an interest and they have found in Nigeria a leader that is willing to cooperate with them due to his naivety. MUSLIMS SHOULD BE WARNED |
IHRC URGENT ALERT: Nigeria - Stop impending violence in Katsina WEDNESDAY, 30 MARCH 2016 Write letters to the Commonwealth, African Union and FCO to stop the impending violence Contents 1. Summary & Background 2. Action required 3. Specimen letter and addresses 1. “Reports from Katsina today have indicated that the Nigerian army is amassing troops in an attempt at a clampdown on the Islamic Movement in the town. Early in the morning armed troops were seen surrounding the main Juma’at mosque, where a peaceful maulud procession of the daughter of the Prophet, Nana Fatima (AS) was scheduled to take off. Seeing this, and due to the peaceful disposition of the Islamic Movement, the take-off venue of this yearly event was changed to another neighbourhood of the town, and the procession went round some major streets of the town and ended without any incident. However to our consternation, reinforcement was brought from neighbouring formations of the army, and roadblocks were mounted on almost all the major roads leading to Katsina city. We have been reliably informed that the army is set to replicate the wanton destruction of lives and properties it carried out in Zaria last December. The army it seems has vowed to attack the Markaz Islamic centre in the town any moment from now, possibly kill all its occupants and raze it to ground just as it did to Husainiyya Islamic centre in Zaria.” – excerpt from a message from the Islamic Movement in Nigeria 2. There has been ongoing violence against the IMN for many years but the recent aggression was sparked off in December when the Nigerian army attacked the house of Sheikh Zakzaky and killed over 1000 people. Currently there are still over 200 people held in detention where they are not allowed to even receive proper medical care. As seen in the statement above, these early stages look similar to those of the Zaria attacks and the impending violence is feared. There is the potential for thousands more to go missing; to be killed and to be held in detention. Write to the FCO, African Union and Commonwealth and demand that they intervene before something happens. Read more: |
The Hypocrisy of Governor Bello Masari of Katsina state: The speech of the Katsina state Governor Bello Masari on today's harassment and intimidation by the Nigerian Army against members of #IMN who were on a peaceful procession to mark the birth anniversary of Sayyeda Fatima bnt Muhammad ( as ) smack of hypocrisy. Which law in Nigeria prohibits the procession for Sayyeda Fatima ( as ), the illustrious daughter of the Messenger of God ( sa )? If Governor Masari agrees that all Nigerians have the right to practice their religion then why sent heavily-armed soldiers against a procession that is largely dominated by women and children? The fact that Governor Masari sent heavily - armed soldiers against a peaceful procession underlined his hypocrisy. Where is the police and the civil defense force that were specially trained in crowd control? Do this bloodthirsty Saudi hunting dogs in Nigeria think that by killing the peaceful members of IMN that will frightened them and make them become Wahhabis? When these bloodthirsty war criminals had tarnish the image of Islam by killing close to 1000 defenseless & unarmed Nigerians in Zaria and buried them in mass graves, who will be attracted to their deviant and warped Wahhabism? Members of IMN are not armed, why should the oppressive and tyrannical Nigerian regime continue to send heavily-armed soldiers to their programs and activities to kill them? When members of IMN built their #Husseiniyya in Zaria for their programs and activities, the Nigerian regime bombed it with civilians inside and completely destroyed it. And when IMN members want to use the central Mosque in Katsina for their programs, the Katsina state Governor Bello Masari sent heavily-armed soldiers to prevent them from using it. Then where did the Nigerian regime want the IMN to use for its programs and activities? This is the evil Saudi-sponsored Wahhabi agenda unfolding. The Nigerian hunting dogs of the corrupt House of Saud that has light the fire of war and destruction in many Muslim countries should understand that massacres and brutal slaughter of people will never make them abandoned their noble ways to come and follow the ways of their inhuman killers! The international community should hold the Nigerian President Buhari and his cabal responsible for the genocide unfolding against the peaceful members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem #Zakzaky. The Nigerian regime should return the death bodies of the close to 1000 defenseless & unarmed Nigerians that they killed in Zaria to their families for better Islamic burial. #FreeZakzaky #GodProtectZakzaky Harun Elbinawi elbinawi@yahoo.com Elbinawi. |
Press statement WE REJECT ANY CRIME IN OUR NAME Our attention has been drawn to what looks more like a planned operation to paint the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, black using some false, unsubstantiated claimed intelligence report that the Movement was planning to kidnap military officers to use as ransom for the release of the revered leader of the Movement, His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. This was followed by the kidnap of an Army officer in Kaduna for which the Nigerian Army issued a statement announcing it and calling on the public to give information that would lead to the arrest of the perpetrators. It is clear that the government and its Army are going further in their plans of campaign of calumny and false propaganda against the Movement from smear documentaries on Television networks, advertorials in daily newspapers, sponsoring fake non-governmental organizations to paint the Movement black, to engaging in organized crimes and linking it to the Movement. We wish to state here categorically that the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of His Eminence, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky has never, is not and will never engage in any form of crime to meet any of its objectives. The IMN is a peaceful Movement, with enlightened and responsible people as members that has for close to four decades conducted its activities in the most civilized manner and cannot in any way derail from that track record and engage in any form of crime or violence. The Islamic Movement is aware that due to negligence of those in power who careless about the welfare of their citizens, a lot of crimes including kidnapping have become common in the country and the IMN condemns all forms of crimes and preaches against them as a religious body. Hence, it is virtually illogical and unreasonable for anyone to presume that the IMN would engage in such acts of immorality even as its rights have been violated and its sanctity molested by the government and its Army by killing and burning its members alive, molesting and raping its women and abducting and illegally detaining it members including the leader of the Movement. We are forced to believe that the government and its Army are desperate in wanting to not only bury their crimes against humanity, but also justify the inhumanity they meted on the innocent unarmed members of the Movement on the 12th to 14th of December 2015 where they killed over 1000. The lack of justification for the crimes the government and its Army committed has pushed them into engaging in all forms of instigation to force the peaceful Movement into violence which the Movement has resisted despite all efforts. It is pertinent to reiterate here that the IMN is a peaceful Movement and will sustain its campaign for justice and fairness to be meted on those that perpetrated crimes against it using peaceful means of seeking redress. This has been displayed in the way the IMN has taken due processes in dealing with the Commission of Inquiry set up by the Kaduna state government, making public every stage in its campaign and taking its case before the International Criminal Court, ICC in Hague. Finally, we would like to use this platform to call on the government and its Army to own up to their crimes and release the revered leader of the Movement Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and other members unconditionally. IMPENDING MILITARY POGROM IN KATSINA STATE Reports from Katsina today have indicated that the Nigerian army is amassing troops in an attempt at a clampdown on the Islamic Movement in the town. The army it seems has vowed to attack the Markaz Islamic centre in the town any moment from now, possibly kill all its occupants and raze it to ground just as it did to Husainiyya Islamic centre in Zaria. The Islamic Movement is amazed at what happened to our fundamental constitutional right to peaceful assembly and practice of religion in a democratic setting. This maulud procession is a yearly event that has been going on in several cities across the Nation for decades without any incident, like so many of our educational programs. Why we should be the subject of brutal attack by the authorities is mind boggling. We are of the view that there is a ‘jihadi’ element in the Nigerian army that wants to hide under the cloak of our secular national army to achieve the clandestine aim of wiping out members of the Islamic Movement all over the federation. If that is the case, they should come out in the open and declare their intentions, since the Nigerian army we know is forbidden to do the bidding of any religious agenda. Also reports reaching us from Kebbi state have confirmed to us that security agencies in various local governments of the states have ordered members of the Islamic Movement to stop any educational programs they are known to engage in. The report states that any attempt to disregard what was said to be an order from the Federal government, would be met with ruthless clamp down. In fact, about ten members of the Islamic Movement are presently facing prosecution simply for attending an educational session in a mosque in Birnin Kebbi. Wither freedom of religion in this country? The Islamic Movement therefore enjoins fellow citizens to call the federal government to order. Rather than pursue a religious agenda, specifically a Saudi-wahabbi sponsored agenda to kill whom they label Shiites, the federal government should devise means of relieving the masses that voted it into power the myriads of the day to day hardship they encounter in their lives. Even as we keep watch of events by the army in Katsina and other places, we wish to reiterate our demand of immediate release of our leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Yaqoub Zakzaky and other brothers and sisters of the Islamic movement held incommunicado for close to the past four months. They did no wrong; hence they should be set free unconditionally. Another False Flag Operation unfolding against #IMN: We got this message: "A very reliable source from the Presidency just confirmed that there was an Intelligence Report since last week that the El Zakzaky people vowed to Kidnap military officers to negotiate as ransom for the release of their leader purported to be under military custody. The source further confirmed that the Intelligence Officer in the Depot NA Zaria is aware of the report since last week. Everyone needs to be extra careful especially those in Kaduna and Abuja metropolis." And we also got this announcement today from the Nigerian military authorities: "Col S Inusa (44 RC) was abducted around NNPC junction. The abductors dropped off his wife and left with him in his car. The car headed towards Abuja. Anybody with useful info or assistance should please assist in tracking these abductors. They are in a Mercedes Benz GLK black colour with registration number Abuja, KUJ 154 TZ. The incident happened yesterday evening ( Saturday 26 Mar 2016) at NNPC junction, Kaduna." The question is why will IMN "kidnap military officers to negotiate as ransom for the release of their leader purported to be under military custody"? And after Sheikh Ibraheem #Zakzaky is released after this negotiations which country will he be staying? The IMN under the leadership of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky has never engaged in criminal activities such as kidnapping or abduction or anything related to that and strongly condemned such criminal activities done under any pretext. Since after the brutal #Zaria_Massacre by the Nigerian Army that killed close to one thousand defenseless & unarmed Nigerians in Zaria, the Nigerian government launched a smear campaign of calumny and demonization against #IMN and its leadership with the sole intention of justifying the brutal massacre and portraying the peaceful IMN as "criminal & terrorist organization". After the Agatu killings in Benue State, the Nigerian government sponsored a faceless group to blame IMN of those atrocities and senseless killings. But fortunately enough Nigerians refused to buy that monumental fraud because they know the history of the conflict between the Fulani nomads and the host farmers. Nigerians are well aware of the rampancy of the cases of kidnappings in Nigeria for monetary ransom and the gross failure of the Nigerian authorities to eradicate it. There are mounting security challenges facing Nigeria such as the #BokoHaram insurgency, kidnappings, Oil bunkering, human trafficking, human organ trafficking etc but unfortunately what presently occupy the minds of our Nigerian oppressors is how to frame and demonize the peaceful Islamic Movement in Nigeria ( IMN ). Instead of the Nigerian government to concentrate on how to tackle these security challenges, the government is trying to bury what is undoubtedly a brutal war crime and by extension demonizing the victims of its brutal massacre. The present Nigerian government that is executing a foreign sponsored imperialist agenda by these actions is insensitive to the deteriorating economic and social conditions of Nigerians and is displaying nonchalant attitude to the present extreme sufferings of Nigerians. Finally, it is our hope that Col S Inusa and all those Nigerians kidnapped and abducted be freed and safely returned to their families. Kidnapping innocent Nigerians is a heinous crime that must be condemned by all. #FreeZakzaky #GodProtectZakzaky Harun Elbinawi elbinawi@yahoo.com Elbinawi. |

Twenty three year old daughter of the Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, Suhaila Ibrahim El-Zakzaky yesterday at during a press conference at the Kaduna state Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) narrated how her father and mother were shot and arrested. " We where at home on that faithful day when the attacks on Hussainiyya started, we only conversed with people over the phone. It was pretty much a normal day, then around 10pm we heard gunshots from far because there were people in the lane leading up to the house, it turned out that the military was there and advancing towards the house. Seh added "We spent the whole night with the shootings going on and it was reported that people are being killed. The next day, people were saying the early morning prayer, they got the opportunity to get close to the house and eventually got to knock down the walls of the house with their tanks. When they entered the house, they killed as much people as they could, burnt some alive. We were furtunate to be in the part of the house that was not burnt but they assumed everyone was burnt dead, so they did not really search where we were. "We spent that whole day with the soldiers, we could here their shooting from far and there was fire all over the house, and we spent the night like that. In the morning, I think they came to search the rest of the house to see what's there and what's not, myself, my mother and father and some other members of the movement were there when they got to the place we were in the house, they took shooting positions and shot at us continously for a few seconds or up to a minute. When they stopped, that was when we realised my father and mother had been shot, my three brothers and some of the peole that we were with had been shot dead. "They took us away one by one, most of the people I was with, me, my sisters and the other people were beaten up before we were taken to the Army Deport in Zaria where me and my sister spent four days, from the 14th December to18 December, they also took our parents away and we did not have any contact with them." Asked how she and her other siblings have been coping since the incident, she said "thanks be to Allah, we have been coping fine, we are waiting for justice and we hope that we will find that." http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/how-my-father-was-arrested-zakzaky-s-daughter/139176.html#WSEhxoWVExJ7EAvb.99

PRESS STATEMENT ARMY ORDERS FRESH ATTACK ON MEMBERS OF THE ISLAMIC MOVEMENT IN KATSINA AND SOKOTO The Islamic Movement has uncovered another devilish plan by the Nigerian army to replicate the gruesome murder it carried out in Zaria. This time around, our sources, said Katsina and Sokoto have been penciled down for the operation which will occur any moment from now. A very reliable source confirmed to us that the Nigerian army has been uncomfortable with the way the atrocities they committed in Zaria last year is being exposed, drawing sympathy to the Islamic Movement not only in Nigeria but the world over. They attribute these to the activities of members of the Islamic Movement in other centres, especially those in both Katsina and Sokoto. In Zaria, the Nigeria army attacked under the pretext of road blockage. It is not clear what they will use as an excuse this time in Katsina and Sokoto. Since the unfortunate incident in Zaria, peaceful protests have been held in major cities across the country, demanding for the immediate and unconditional release of Sheikh Ibraheem Yaqoub Zakzaky along with other hundreds of members of the Islamic Movement being incarcerated in various detention centres across the country. We condemn this newly planned operation, which seems to be in continuation of the one they started in Zaria. It is noteworthy that this is coming especially at a time when the Saudis, well known globally as financiers of ISIS and other terrorists organisations, are conducting a workshop on terrorism in Abuja. From all these, one can see the hidden arms of some Wahabbi elements within the Nigerian army bent on obliterating the Islamic Movement whose majority of its members are followers of the Shia school of thought. We wish to alert the public that while Nigerian army is supposed to be a secular army, it has so far acted as an arm of Wahabbis of Saudi Arabia in actions and thoughts. Nigerian government appears to be carrying out foreign policies of some Arab states and this will not augur well for the inter religious harmony that we currently enjoy in the country. APC Candidates In Abuja Remove Buhari's Picture From Posters - Abuja Inquirer - NewsPunch | Ismaila Bala. APC, have removed the picture of President Muhammadu Buhari from their campaign posters. Prior to now, most of the candidates featured the picture of the president as a means to boost their electoral fortunes. However, our correspondent observed that in AMAC, Gwagwalada, Kuje and Bwari, the posters bearing the pictures of the president have all being replaced by fresh ones without him featuring. Efforts to speak to party officials of the APC in the FCT was met with a brick wall as none of them was prepared to offer any explanation for the sudden change. Some residents argued that the dire situation of things could be reason why the APC candidates decided to take the ‘safer route’ of not featuring the president as it could serve as reminder of failed promises. Speaking on the issue Ismaila Bala, a businessman and resident of Gwagwa, said; “which politician will want to associate with somebody you want to vote for and you are crying about his style of governance? Voting is done mostly at the grassroots and that is where this economic hardship is biting more. “A mudu of rice that was sold for N250 is now N450, and that is how it is with other commodities almost 100 percent increase, meanwhile there is no money in circulation to buy the items. So I think they are being wise to have removed his picture from their posters, because people are hungry.” Reacting to the allegation, the Candido Campaign Organization spokesperson, Mr. Dayo Lawal, said there are many posters with some having Buhari's picture. President Buhari is our leader, we are proud to identify with him.” But he could not show any of the posters with the president’s picture. http://www.newspunch.org/2016/03/apc-candidates-in-abuja-remove-buharis_14.html?m=1 |
Re:Court asked to order the arrest of El-zakzaky's wife My attention was drawn to a news item in the Vanguard Newspaper of 13/03/2016 with the above heading. The report stated:"A federal high court sitting in Abuja has been asked to order the immediate arrest and prosecution of Mrs. Zeenat El-Zakzaky, wife of the leader Shi’ite movement in Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakyzaky. In suit number FHC/ABJ/CJ/189/2016, dated March 10, 2016, Mrs. El-Zakzaky was said to have made inciting statement after the killing of the members of the Movement and the arrest of her husband." The plaintiff in the suit which is also the front of the Nigerian government here is one Danbaba Gyang is also asking the court to declare the Iranian Ambassador in Nigeria, Saeed Koozechi, a security threat to the country. Another sponsored agenda by the Nigerian government to give legitimacy to the brutal slaughter of 1000+ defenseless & unarmed #Shia_Muslims in Zaria, the destruction of the iconic Zaria #Husseiniyya and the destruction of the residence of the Nigerian Islamic scholar His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem #Zakzaky. The recent #UN panel season that was held in Geneva, Switzerland, on the #Zaria_Massacre and the gross violations of the fundamental human rights of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife has drawn world's attention to the brutal Zaria massacre and this has forced the masterminds and perpetrators of the massacre to open another front in a court of law to seek legitimacy. The suit claimed that "Mrs. El-Zakzaky was said to have made inciting statement after the killing of the members of the Movement and the arrest of her husband." The question to ask here is that when did she made that statement after the arrest of her husband since they were brutally abducted on the same time? She has since then being held incommunicado with her husband by the Nigerian government, then how can she make inciting statement while in detention? It is important to note that the Nigerian government has so far used three (3) fronts in its campaign against the Islamic Movement of Nigeria ( #IMN ) and #Iran since the return of the Nigerian President Buhari from his foreign trips to #Saudi_Arabia and #Qatar. The first was by a faceless group led by a "Christian cleric" to the Iranian Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria. The second was in Lagos by another faceless group that tried to equate the peaceful IMN with the most deadliest terrorist group in the whole world (#BokoHaram). And this law suit is the third front. It is also important to note that all the leaders of this sponsored groups are Nigerian Christians, that was not by accident but by design to give their campaign which is sectarian in nature a "national outlook". The IMN is the only Islamic organization in Nigeria that invites Christians to its programs and activities, and this move to make Nigerians believe that Nigerian Christians are in the forefront of opposition and hostility towards IMN will definitely fail as IMN considered all Christians as our brothers and sisters in humanity. It is also important to note that during the brutal Zaria massacre, the Nigerian Army killed three (3) sons of Mrs. Zeenat El-Zakzaky infront of her, shot her husband six (6) times and shot her twice. So which "inciting statement" will such a mother make that witnessed the brutal killings of her three (3) sons in the most inhuman manner? If we can remember in 2014, three (3) other sons of Mr. Zeenat El-Zakzaky were tortured to death by the Nigerian Army. And the call by the suit to "declare the Iranian Ambassador in Nigeria, Saeed Koozechi, a security threat to the country" is part of the Saudi-sponsored Wahhabi agenda that the present Nigerian government is busy executing. A hunting dog of the House of Saud should be seen active by unfoundedly accusing Iran to please the Saudi savages who are his masters. Finally, those who brutally killed 1000+ defenseless Nigerians in Zaria and buried them in mass graves should understand that history has never been on the side of wicked and brutal oppressors. No matter how long it takes, one day the full revelation of the Zaria massacre will be made to the world and the whole world will condemn what is undoubtedly a war crime. #FreeZakzaky #GodProtectZakzaky Harun Elbinawi elbinawi@yahoo.com Elbinawi. |

Still on Nigeria joining the Saudi coalition: Nigeria and other West African countries that included Niger, Chad and Cameroon have been fighting against the BokoHaram insurgency for more than 5 years now. This murderous insurgency has killed tens of thousands of people, destroyed towns and villages and forced more than two million #refugees out of their homes. Throughout this period Nigeria and these West African countries have not receive any assistance or support from Saudi Arabia or any of the other despotic Arab regimes. Then when the evil Saudi-sponsored Wahhabi agenda is being defeated in #Syria, #Iraq & #Yemen, the Saudi regime suddenly formed a fraudulent 'Islamic coalition against terror" and the Nigerian President Buhari without due consultations has dragged Nigeria into the coalition. The murderous #BokoHaramTerrorist have killed more than 30,000 innocent Nigerians -both Muslims and Christians - for more than 5 years now, what has Saudi Arabia ever contributed to the fight against the BokoHaram insurgency? They have contributed nothing and do not even considered us human enough to condemn the daily killings of innocent Nigerians by the Wahhabi - inspired murderous thugs. Nigeria has more than 2 million Internally Displaced Persons (#IDP) who fled their homes due to the #BokoHaram insurgency in the North East & across Northern Nigeria. For more than 5 years now #Saudi_Arabia and all the other despotic Arab regimes have never contributed anything for the upkeep of these IDPs. These IDPs are in dare need of help due to their displaced lives, Saudi Arabia has never contributed anything. Yet the Nigerian President Buhari has dragged Nigeria into the fraudulent & suspicious Saudi-led coalition that is clearly not in the interest of #Nigeria. How can the Saudi regime that is the biggest financer of Wahhabi Terrorism in the name of Islam be the leader in fighting against it? How possible is it for a notorious drug dealer to open a Rehabilitation center to fight drug addiction? Out of wickedness the #Saudi regime deliberately crashed the Oil prices to hurt the economies of #Iran and #Russia due to the #Syrian crisis. Today the Nigerian economy is worst hit than Iran and Russia. Iran and Russia succeeded in creating mechanisms that limited the damage of the Oil crash on their economies. Today due to the bad state of the Nigerian economy and thhe poor management by the Buhari-led Nigerian government, some Nigerian families are on the verge of starvation. Nigeria is already a member of a regional alliance against the BokoHaram insurgency, Nigeria should concentrate on that alliance and not to allowed itself to be used by the bloodthirsty war-mongering Saudi tyrant who derived pleasure in seeing countries destroyed due to wars. Nigeria is too great a country and its people too enlightened to become an Emirate of Saudi Arabia that is under the rule of the savage House of Saud. Finally, Nigerians irrespective of their religion or tribe should Condemn this move by the Nigerian President to drag Nigeria into a suspicious coalition that was only created to serve narrow intolerant Wahhabi agenda of the Saudi regime. #WithdrawFromSaudiCoalition #FreeZakzaky #GodProtectZakzaky Harun Elbinawi elbinawi@yahoo.com Elbinawi. |
RE:Nigeria joins 'Islamic coalition' against terror President Muhammadu Buhari has admitted that #Nigeria has joined the 'Islamic Coalition' against terrorism being championed by #Saudi_Arabia. Buhari made the disclosure during an interview with #Aljareeza, which was broadcast at the weekend. When asked whether Nigeria was part of the coalition, Buhari said: “We are part of it because we’ve got terrorists in Nigeria that everybody knows which claim that they are Islamic. “So, if there’s an 'Islamic coalition' to fight terrorism, Nigeria will be part of it because we are casualties of Islamic terrorism,” he added. On whether Nigeria became a member of the coalition during his meeting with King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia recently, Buhari said “yes.” Buhari’s admission of Nigeria’s membership of the Islamic coalition came barely two weeks after an official Presidency statement seemed to suggest that Buhari had turned down the invitation to be part of the coalition. A statement issued by the Senior Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), Garba Shehu, during the president’s trip to Saudi Arabia had said that Buhari had pledged Nigeria’s support for the coalition even if it would not be part of it. The statement had said that two leaders who engaged in extensive discussions on regional and global issues also agreed that terrorism posed a common threat to their states and would require close cooperation to prevail over the threats. It observed that President Buhari who was making his first pronouncement on the invitation to join the coalition of Islamic states against terror spearheaded by the Saudis congratulated the Kingdom on its formation. The statement quoted Buhari thus: “Even if we are not a part of it, we support you. I must thank the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the recent creation of a coalition to address the menace of international terrorism. Nigeria will support your efforts in keeping peace and stopping the spread of terror in your region. This is in consonance with our own commitment and on-going efforts in seeking to stamp out Boko Haram terrorists from the West African sub-region and Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC).” While in Saudi Arabia Nigerian President Buhari told the world that Nigerian will not be part of the fraudulent & suspicious Saudi-led 'Islamic coalition' & this weekend the same Buhari told Al Jazeera that Nigeria has joined the Saudi-led coalition. This glaring policy contradiction showed the evil intentions of the Nigerian President. It is important to note that Saudi Arabia do not have any credential for fighting against Wahhabi-inspired terrorism. In fact it is common knowledge that the Saudi regime is among those funding both #ISIS & #AlQaeda, two of the most murderous groups that are killing innocent people in the name of #Islam. All murderous terrorist groups in the world are inspired by Saudi-sponsored Wahhabism then how can the same Saudi Arabia led a military coalition against them? It was obvious that the Nigerian President Buhari made this decision to join the fraudulent Saudi-led 'Islamic coalition' without consulting the Nigerian Parliament or any stakeholders in Nigeria. And his decision to join the coalition has nothing to do with the fight against the #BokoHaram insurgency, the Nigerian President Buhari has just dragged Nigeria into the narrow dangerous Saudi Wahhabi agenda with the sole purpose of containing the ascendancy of #Iran. The Nigerian President Buhari is desperate to turn Nigeria into a Saudi Emirate without considering the religious heterogeneousity of the Nigerian state and its diverse components. Finally, it is upto Nigerians to oppose this dangerous move by the Nigerian President & the intolerant Wahhabi cabals around him. This pronouncement by Buhari is bad news for Nigeria and all Nigerians who have the love of the country at heart should condemn & reject the quest of Buhari to turn Nigeria into a Banana Republic that will take orders from the savage Saudi tyrant who know nothing about freedom, democracy and human rights. #FreeZakzaky #GodProtectZakzaky Harun Elbinawi elbinawi@yahoo.com Elbinawi. |

Nigerian government sponsoring protest to the Iranian Embassy on #Zaria_Massacre: After killing 1000+ defenseless & unarmed #Shia_Muslims in Zaria, the oppressive & tyrannical Nigerian regime sponsored paid Advertorials in major Nigerian media outlets against IMN & Shia Islam but majority of Nigerians rejected it's fraudulent propaganda and called for independent and credible probe. The Nigerian regime failed to do that and established a kangaroo commission of inquiry via the Kaduna State Government and populated it with die-hard Salafis who have #ShiaGenocide as an agenda. After failing to make Nigerians forget the brutal Zaria massacre, the Nigerian regime has now resorted to cheap exploitation of National sentiment by sponsoring faceless groups & Wahhabi clerics to the Iranian Embassy in Abuja to protest what they claimed "Iranian interference in #Nigeria" and calling for the expulsion of the Iranian Ambassador to Nigeria Mr. Saeed Koozechi. The Nigerian regime is desperate to bury its war crimes like all bloodthirsty regimes that kill innocent civilians. They want the world to forget about their slaughter of 1000+ Nigerians, but people with conscience have refused to forget and be silent. Nigerians especially the vocal social media activists have continued to remind the world that 1000+ Nigerians were brutally killed and their dead bodies dumped in mass graves. The #IMN does not depend on the existence of an Iranian Embassy in Nigeria for its programs and activities, the IMN is an organization with a National spread that has millions of members within and outside Nigeria. #Iran is a great nation that side with all the world oppressed, in any part of the world that the oppressed screamed then the voice of support from Iran will be heard. The wicked and evil Nigerian rulers killed 1000+ Nigerians in less than 48 hours and buried them in mass graves to bury the evidences. They are so wicked in their wickedness that they forgot that those they murdered have loved ones, friends, neighbors and family relations. Now these shameless war criminals are accusing the innocent Iran for doing what is right and just in condemning the brutal and inhuman massacre of 1000+ Nigerians. And it was not only Iran that condemned that brutal massacre, all human rights groups within and outside Nigeria strongly condemned the massacre and call for independent probe. Most of them outside Nigeria went further to sent their special representatives to Nigeria for data collection on the brutal Zaria massacre. I said this in the past and I will say it again that there has never been any tyrant and oppressors in histotry that has succeeded in encapsulating a massacre and the Nigerian President Buhari will not be the first exception. One day, God willing, whether we are alive or not those mass graves will be unearth and their remains will be shown to the world. #FreeZakzaky #GodProtectZakzaky Harun Elbinawi elbinawi@yahoo.com Elbinawi. |
This is very sad coming from ignorant people with misplaced priorities. They really have no idea with what they are being paid to do. Ignorant youths misled by the love for money than the love for country, peace or religion. No sense of justice and no sense of responsibility. Irresponsible youths paid by irresponsible people. Look at the idiots claiming they "reject sponsors of extreme religious views and doctrines, terrorism and political cells". How can Shia Islam be associated with these baseless claims, when the Shia Muslims are victims of the Saudi Wahhabi promoted global Shia Genocide? When would they call for the expulsion of the Saudi Wahhabi governor/ambassador in Nigeria? Is this not the result of the president's visit to the Wahhabi kingdom of terrorism, Saudi Arabia? Every extremism and terrorism around the world and every terrorist group have to do with the Wahhabi ideology, a byproduct of Sunni Islam, and followed by a minority Sunnis. How does the Iranian ambassador asking the government of Nigeria to stop killing its citizens who belong to the Shia Muslim minority faith and who follow the same version of Islam as the Iranians amount to "interference" and other silly claims? Doesn't the king of Saudi Arabia calling to congratulate the president on the Zaria massacre and referring to the genocide of innocent Shia Muslim Nigerians who were defenseless amount to inhumanity and terrorism and interference? Where is the tolerance and humanity of these paid jobless goats? Why are these jobless and ignorant youths under a fake name, as fake as their posture holding that banner, not call for the expulsion of the Saudi Wahhabi governor-general/ambassador to Nigeria? God is watching! |
WE REJECT ANY FALSE FLAG ATTACK IN OUR NAME – ISLAMIC MOVEMENT OF NIGERIA NEWSRESCUE MARCH 2, 2016 Our attention has been drawn to a report by some online media sites captioned: Alert: Shiites Threaten Mass Revolt Nationwide. The report insinuated that the Islamic Movement of Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Yaqoub Zakzaky is planning a revenge mission for the killings done to it by the army in Zaria. The story was predicated on an extracted part of a speech by a member of the Islamic Movement in Kano, which was taken out of context. We hereby categorically deny that there is any plan to ‘hit back at the army and other symbols of authority’ as claimed by the report. This is only a ploy to start series of false flag operations whereby attacks will be staged somewhere and these will be attributed to the Islamic Movement as a ‘revenge attacks’. It will be recalled that security operatives have for long had a history of planning such attacks, especially when all efforts to justify their atrocities fail woefully. Similar plots were exposed soon after the daylight cold-blooded murder of 34 members of IMN in 2014. It must be made clear however that any such attacks, now or in the future, is not by the Movement or its members as we wish to reiterate that the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has never ever even contemplated taking up arms or use of violence as a means to achieving our aims. We remain committed to our non-violent ways of extending our message of fairness and justice to all irrespective of sect or religion. There has never been a single occasion when the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of his Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky ever threaten the peace and stability of Nigeria or engaged in any form of violence throughout its 38 years of existence. We have always been the victims of those who are opposed to justice because of our insistence that due process of law should be followed by those in authority. For the benefit of doubts, we restate that we will never be distracted by anyone and no amount of provocation or incitement would make the IMN ever engage in any form of violent activity. Our leader Shaikh Zakzaky has said it many times in his discourses that the large following the Movement enjoys among the Nigerian people is not due to the use of arms by the Islamic Movement, but rather by its adherence to truth and justice for all irrespective of religion, tribe and region. It seems those that wrote the story assume that the Islamic Movement in Nigeria operates like some terrorist groups created by the enemies of Islam, who release video clips in dissemination of its message. Such lousy ways are not our modus operandi and we are not anonymous. We have been living as peaceful Muslims for almost four decades and so it is myopic for anybody to attribute violence to us. The Islamic Movement is still focused on its demand for the unconditional release of Shaikh Zakzaky and all those in detention sequel to the genocidal attack perpetrated by the army against the Islamic Movement in Zaria.
