ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY, ANOTHER NEW AGENCY!!! Tinubu establishes Credit Guarantee Company with N100 billion initial capital, appoints board President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has established the National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC) and approved the appointment of its board and management team. The disclosure was contained in a statement released by the Presidency on Thursday. As part of the rollout, Tinubu appointed former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, as Chairman of the NCGC Board, while Mr. Bonaventure Okhaimo will serve as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. The new institution, backed by an initial capital of N100 billion, is designed to de-risk lending and expand access to finance for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), small corporates, manufacturers, consumers, and large businesses across Nigeria. “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the establishment of the National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC), a transformative institution designed to de-risk lending and boost access to finance for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Small Corporates, Manufacturers, Consumers and Large Enterprises across Nigeria,” the statement read in part. It added, “President Tinubu has further approved the constitution of the Board and Management of NCGC with the appointment of Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara as Chairman of the Board and Mr. Bonaventure Okhaimo as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.” The statement noted that the move aligns with the President’s 2025 New Year message, where he promised to unlock credit access and stimulate inclusive economic growth. Other key appointments include Mrs. Tinoula Aigwedo as Executive Director of Strategy and Operations; Dr. Ezekiel Oseni as Executive Director, Risk Management; and Ms. Yeside Kazeem, an experienced actuarial expert, as an Independent Non-Executive Director. More insights President Tinubu also named representatives of key financial institutions and stakeholders as Non-Executive Board Members. These include Mr. Aminu Sadiq-Umar (MD, Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority), Dr. Olasupo Olusi (MD/CEO, Bank of Industry), Mr. Uzoma Nwagba (MD, Nigeria Consumer Credit Corporation), and Mrs. Oluwakemi Owonubi (representative of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated). The company’s N100 billion initial capital is provided by a consortium consisting of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), the Bank of Industry (BOI), and the Nigeria Consumer Credit Corporation (CrediCorp). In addition, the World Bank Group is offering technical assistance to the new company, leveraging its global experience with similar institutions. According to the statement, the NCGC will play a critical role in strengthening confidence in the financial system, supporting underbanked demographics such as women and youth, promoting industrialization, and generating employment opportunities. It is part of broader efforts by the Tinubu administration to reform the credit landscape and improve standards of living across the country. |

Wallahi brother, Sad reality! As they say "teacher's reward is in heaven" ![]() Mohisah: |
I'm not actually following their activities sir, once one is in abuja here I forget everything there sir, but once I hear any rumor in here I'll try my best to make confirmation as best as I can 🙏🙏Hussen240: |
Okay I can't type it all here, I won't go deep just a rough summary, in NECO a degree holder is placed on Level 7, level 7 basic is not up to hundred K or VERY FEW thousands above hundred, but I will get the exact figure later, their staff gets their money from ASSIGNMENTS coz the salary is not good which many don't believe. So, NECO conducts 4-5 exams annually, each exam has ASSIGNMENTS as they call it there, ranging from CAPTURING, DISTRIBUTIONS(for some specific set of staff), EXAM MONITORING, MARKING, SCANNING (for ICT staff only as NECO has only one point of Result precessing which is the ICT in minna), all exams have scanning allowance attached to it and all ICT staff including the securities, the causals, cleaners, corpers, IT students are all entitle to the scanning allowance, an edge for ICT staff and you can only be posted there as a staff if you study IT related courses, and many more, DISTRIBUTION is juicy but you must own a car before you can apply for that, all of which comes with a DTA, which is calculated based on number of nights, a staff is entitled to AT LEAST 2 assignment annually, it can be more, the biggest which the June/July as they call it, you'll be posted to one of the 36 states including FCT and the 7 countries writing NECO exams ( which you know you must have a special connect before you're posted outside Nigeria), last year it was the Registrar himself that went to Saudi Arabia, both for accreditation, and the main exams as some schools in Saudi now write NECO. A friend was recently posted to one of these African countries and his DTA was 1.4m, the DTA covers daily feeding, accomodations & local runnings which is now around 15k daily for level 9 downward, and for the senior staff normally used to have like 3-5k difference. NECO has no level 10 but during the last replacement we had they have/want to introduce level 10 so we don't know the modalities for now, so if you're going for 30 nights is 15k*30 which then additional TP will be added based on your destination as TP are not flat rates but based on how far the destination is,..most of their staff live on these allowances as the basic salary is poor. there are more explanations but manage this for now RosaMaria24: |
In most cases one is upgraded or downgraded during documentation as the case might be based on his documents/working experience elaino: |

Who are the ones hijacking recruitment/replacement processes? Is it not the same Politicians? Politicians, Ranking Members and Senators at the National Assembly are stronger in terms of number of slots than a Director, don't you know some connects are even stronger than the heads of the said agencies? Read our chats again please. I'm very careful with my words I know what I'm saying ![]() RosaMaria24: |
My Oga, don't you and I disagree and agree constructively in the past? Can't we fact check each other to authenticate the news we put out there? If it's open recruitment he's talking about, it's been more than 15 years since NECO did open recruitment, if it's replacement he's talking about how many are the total replacement that a Director will get 50? You and I know the replacement are not always much, even a full blown recruitment no director will get 20-50 slots sir, this week I was at the head office in minna, yesterday I was with 2 Deputy directors, if you should say this to a NECO staff he will just laugh at you, I did my IT there some years ago, I served there some years go, I worked there as an adhoc staff for 7 years subject to renewal every year, even now that I'm not there anymore I was contacted for a slot of an adhoc staff at the ICT, you can fact check me please, the BECE exam work has started in the ICT, with some adhoc staff, it will run all through to the SSCE, I have friends that are Deputy directors we chat frequently, I repeat I DIDNT SAID HE WAS LYING I only respectfully disagree to some part of the updates. The last replacement my friend was part of those that did documentation for the new intake as her husband is a staff too, I know the total number that was replaced, NECO is like a home Sha, friends, family work there as this is my hometown, anyways we all have to chose what to believe Sha, anyways thank you @Mohisah Mohisah: |
Sorry o! I didn't said you were lying o, I didn't question the recruitment updates o but the number of slots, Kpelle 🙏🙏 |
Apologies, I don't think this is true about the number of slots, how many do they normally recruit that a director will get 20-50? The last replacement directors were given just 1 slot each after series of fights, Oga, let's go easy with these exaggerations. whippersnapper: |
Someone Posted this, dont be fooled, to get the total number of GT recruited, add this 800+the total slot shared so far = GT ![]()
|
With all due respect to FCDA, NECO dust them in allowances, and even on basic, if its about choice between the two, you wont regret going for NECO whippersnapper: |
African Energy Bank is a reality!!!!! Even though this is a senior management role, it's means other staff members' recruitment should be silently ongoing..try your luck
