I always laugh when I see people mentioning those agencies as if someone will just get job their easily without strong connection...ever since I never see anyone here to come out and say he or she got appointment at NDIC NIFU FIFU OR WHATEVER YOU people call them..all we see is nifu is sharing APL CBN is doing this CBN is doing that... People should understand that replacement Appointment letters are usually backdated. You can be issued that of 2022 in 2025. This is not a new thing, except if you are new to recruitment stuff.

Normal recruitments are the ones carrying current dates.

Can I appeal an administrative error by FIRS during my recruitment process for an entry-level role?

I need your advice on this issue. I was told I couldn’t proceed further in the recruitment process because they feel my B.Sc. isn’t confirmed. Here’s what happened:

I graduated with a B.Sc. in Accounting in 2024, but before that, I had already obtained an HND in 2020, which allowed me to complete my NYSC in 2021. During the recruitment process, I uploaded my B.Sc. certificate and my NYSC certificate (dated 2021). I’m guessing this may have caused confusion or led them to think my B.Sc. wasn’t valid since my NYSC date precedes my B.Sc. graduation.

I’ve replied to their email to clarify, but I’m wondering if there’s anything else I can do to appeal this decision or explain myself better. Has anyone experienced something similar, and how did you handle it? Should I keep pushing or just let it go? I’d appreciate any advice.
