The attempted gaslighting has been duly noted and flushed down the toilet accordingly 😁✌️ |
GeneralPula:👍👍👍 |
Beautifulday:For one, street urchins could be drafted to derail legitimate protests by those who hate to be challenged - and for as low as a plate of rice, a few snacks and N500, one can procure their services, unfortunately |
Beautifulday:In a saner clime, this shouldn't be an issue. But Nigeria is a sort of intriguing case 🤐 |
crosart:I took the liberty of asking AI on your behalf 😁 Challenges and Potential Solutions for Cheap Django Deployment Understanding the Challenge: * Tight budget: Limiting options for hosting providers. * Django compatibility: Many shared hosting plans don't support Django. * New to Python: Steep learning curve for server administration. Potential Solutions: While finding a reliable hosting solution for $2-$3 per month that fully supports Django might be challenging, here are some options to consider: 1. Platform as a Service (PaaS) Providers: * Heroku: * Offers free tiers with limitations but can be sufficient for small projects. * Provides easy deployment and scaling. * Might incur costs for add-ons like database or custom domains. * PythonAnywhere: * Offers free plans with limited resources but can be upgraded for a fee. * Supports Django and provides a web-based interface for management. * Offers custom domain support. 2. Cloud-Based Solutions: * DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode: * Provide affordable VPS (Virtual Private Server) options. * Require more technical knowledge for setup and management. * Offer flexibility and control over the environment. * You'll need to install and configure Django, a web server (like Apache or Nginx), and a database (like PostgreSQL or MySQL). 3. Free Hosting (with Limitations): * Render: * Offers free tier with some limitations. * Supports Django and provides easy deployment. * Might not be suitable for production environments due to resource constraints. * Google App Engine: * Offers a free quota but might not be ideal for long-term use. * Supports Python and Django but has specific requirements and limitations. Additional Considerations: * Database: Evaluate your database needs. Consider using a cloud-based database service like Heroku Postgres or AWS RDS if your budget allows. * Domain Name: You can purchase a domain name from registrars like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains for a small fee. * Security: Even on a budget, prioritize security. Use HTTPS, keep software updated, and follow security best practices. * Performance: Be mindful of performance limitations on free or low-cost plans. Consider optimizing your application and database. Recommended Approach: Given your budget constraints and Django experience, I recommend starting with Heroku or PythonAnywhere. They offer user-friendly interfaces and support for Django, making them suitable for beginners. If you're comfortable with server administration and want more control, exploring DigitalOcean, Vultr, or Linode could be an option. However, it requires additional technical knowledge and setup time. Remember: * Carefully evaluate your application's requirements before choosing a hosting solution. * Explore free tiers and trial periods to test different options. * Consider the long-term costs and scalability of your chosen solution. By carefully considering these factors, you can find a cost-effective hosting solution for your Django application. You're welcome 🤗 |
successmatters:They thought they were punishing the rest of Nigeria, not knowing that you can't cut the nose just to spite the face without feeling the pain yourself! 😔💔💔 |

hookupagent1:Hang on a while! Things will surely turn out in your favor soon. Be hopeful 🙏 |
Lie! Somebody that won't allow people protest in peace, same way that GEJ allowed him and others? Shame 😔💔💔 |
jayce232:Clueless government 😞💔💔 |
raystar96:Amen 🙏 |
This is painful. It was clearly an "inside job". I pray that the culprit(s) are found and brought to justice 🙏 I pray the young entrepreneur recovers from this traumatic experience 🙏 |
Goodvibes007:You know, it wouldn't hurt to have a little empathy. Not everything is about politics. Real people (of all tribes, religious beliefs and political affiliations, and both gender) are on the verge of loosing their minds & lives (God forbid) because of severe economic hardship . . . |
Nigeria 😭💔💔 |
RIP |
kingsways:Well, that's true in theory, but many of them are rudely shocked when confronted with political realities . . . Business principles are laid out in black and white. All you need to succeed is to apply them diligently. In politics, there are principles that don't make sense - for instance, a stark illiterate could be the leader of a nation where there are more highly educated and accomplished persons. Or people would prefer to vote a known criminal over a 'better' candidate just because he/she is from their village or identifies with their religious beliefs. In politics, many things are determined by interest, not principles. That's why many upright entrepreneurs prefer to keep politics and politicians at arms length. |
OkCornel:4. Corrupt government officials 5. Unknown gunmën 6. Bãndits 7. Kidnàppers 8. Ritual kìllers |
Malroux:Nigerian politicians don't resign. They don't have that word in their dictionary. It's a do or dìe affair for them 😞💔💔💔 |
May Nigeria win! 🙏 |
Thanks for sharing 🙏 |
Before nko? After dey don settle una 😂 |
NotProphet:I agree, and it's a painful truth to admit. Some reasons why the average Nigerian is not patriotic is because: 1. They have no vested interest in the progress of the Nation; 2. They have seen many elites embezzle our common wealth with reckless abandon with no repercussions; 3. Nigeria doesn't even have a credible database of all its citizens, thus, no concrete plan for anyone's welfare, except the privileged few; 4. Successive governments have demonstrated repeatedly that the interest of the average Nigerian citizen is not their concern. 5. There is no tangible benefit for being a Nigerian citizen; 6. Government appointments or positions are usually rigged or arranged for self empowerment of the officials (and their families), not genuine public service. 7. Those who have money are really above the law! I pray we get things right one day 🙏 |
This joke is getting interesting by the day 🤣 |
Sorry to interrupt all the arguments. Abeg, who get Nokia charger? Pin mouth? 🙏 |
akanbiaa:Sad reality. I pray we get it right someday 😞💔💔 |
oyichi:I understand what you were trying to say, but it didn't come out right . . . |
ALLNIGERIANSMAD:Well, yeah 😂 |
Great entrepreneurs don't usually make good leaders, unfortunately. They usually try to use business sense to run government, but it doesn't work. Politics run by an entirely different set of rules . . . 🤐 |
I was enjoying your writeup till I read " . . .the north is very different from the south, they don't value life the way we do . . ." That's not true you know? 😞💔💔 |
