We have explained this for them countless time. It is so simple. If at this moment you can't view your application then you were not shortlisted. Those who were shortlisted originally will be able to view their application

One of the biggest mistakes many job seekers make today is chasing attractive vacancies without checking if they truly meet the specific qualifications required. This is especially true with Federal Civil Service jobs, where strict compliance with stated requirements determines who gets shortlisted and who doesn’t.

Take, for instance, the recent recruitment for Procurement Officers. Many people saw the attractive salary and benefits and rushed to apply. Yet the clear requirement was an MSc or BSc in Purchasing and Supply, Estate Management, or Business Administration. If you apply with just a BSc alone, without the required specialization or advanced degree, you won’t be shortlisted. Some even studied Business Education and assumed it’s the same as Business Administration—it’s not. The system is designed to pick the exact match.

The same applies in other sectors. If you hold an HND and apply for a teaching position—even with a PGDE—you likely won’t get it unless the specific post is for a Technologist or Technical Instructor, and you still need a proper Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), not an incomplete or unrelated version.

Another example is the Ministry of Power. If the position advertised is for an Electrical Engineer, only those with a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering will be considered. If you have an HND in Electrical Engineering, you are not eligible—unless the post specifically asks for an Electrical Engineering Technologist, which then requires an HND, not a B.Eng.

In short, always read the job description carefully. Match your qualifications exactly. Don’t apply for positions simply because they sound good or pay well. If you studied Education, focus on Education-related roles. Don’t expect to get shortlisted for a technical or administrative role in the Presidency or Power Ministry if your qualifications do not match.

Government recruitment is now stricter than ever. There is no room for guessing or hoping to be ‘lucky.’ The system is automated and designed to weed out applicants whose certificates don’t align perfectly with the advertised requirements.

So, before you click Apply, do yourself a favour:
✅ Read the requirements word for word.
✅ Check that your certificate matches—course, level (BSc, MSc, HND), and any extra credentials.
✅ If in doubt, seek clarification or apply for what you are truly qualified for.

This is the only way to stand a real chance and avoid disappointment. Stop wasting time and money chasing what you cannot get because of non-compliance. Align your application with your actual qualifications—and you will see better results.

I got a cooked cob of corn 🌽 yesterday evening from a friend. However, I decided to take it home cos it was too cold. Then I developed another plan.

From your benevolency, you think the only people suffering in Nigeria are teachers. The truth about it is that it cuts across all sector apart of politicians. Some persons earned far lesser than teachers.

Hello All I hope 2025 is going well for everyone

I am doing a Teachers Appreciation Gift for April 2025. I did the Last one in April & July 2019 (You can check that Thread)

I am doing this as i was in Nigeria Earlier this Year and went to a few schools and saw how teacher are Struggling Financially

I want to bless 40 New Graduate Teachers or Nigerians who are teaching in Nigeria Secondary Schools with 50,000 Naira each

I know it may not be a big amount but i am following the principle that what you make
happen for others God will Make Happen for you - Matthew 7:12

Its Wednesday 2nd April 2025 so i going to respond to the first 5 Male Teachers and first 5 Female Teachers in Four Batches making 40 Teachers.

You must respond by sending the following details below to my email address :

1 - Full Name and Naira-land ID Name (So i will post an abbreviation of your ID name on the thread
when the transfer is made - Check the post i did in July 2019 for confirmation that i paid the funds)

2 - University in Nigeria that you Graduated from (Its must be Federal or State University - No Private University Graduates and dont ask me why, it is obvious)

3 - Telephone Number

4 - Name of School that you teach at.

5 - Bank Details

6 - School Address and Telephone Number so that i can confirm that you are teaching there

7 - I will also pick out 2 Teachers 1 Male and 1 Female and pay for their Masters Degree Course in Nigeria
if they are planing to study further
