bookface:I’m sure there’s a way, after all, this is Lagos. That said, please don’t do this. You’d be putting other people at risk and you will spend some time in prison or pay a significant fine if you’re caught. Please don’t do this! Just admit that you’ve only had one dose of the vaccine and prepare to quarantine at your home for 14 days. You don’t have to do the 3 day mandatory hotel stopover anymore. You just need to quarantine at your home for 14 days. Please don’t lie to government authorities or perpetuate fraud. Don’t do it! |
[quote author=olumideola post=103962597]Hello Everyone, My mum just received passport request for her Tourist Visa. I'm looking for direction on how to send her passport to VFS office in Lagos (she lives in Osun). I know I can send her passport, ppr letter and other docs via DHL or UPS. I'm not sure if I'm missing other steps, such as VFS fees and how to pay that. Will appreciate your help. VFS will send you an email with instructions. If they don’t, send them an email asking for instructions at Canadang@vfsglobal.com or canadang@vfshelpline.com |
prettymee:I think you can find samples of invitation letters on the internet. Letter of purpose is just you telling them your reason for going to Canada. Google some samples and make sure of how to address the letter. I’m not sure what a letter is support it. Sorry, can’t help you there |
Izulink:Ideally, you’ll get an email notifying you that there’s a change on your application. However, you may not get one. At least ,I didn’t. Maybe log into your IRCC account every couple of days just to check. |
Mami1:Hmm, I don’t think there’s anything you can do. Did they tell you why your request was denied? If it’s something you can fix and resubmit, maybe give that a shot. If you just don’t qualify for authorization to travel, homie, I think you’ll just have to wait until all travel restrictions are lifted. |
timmyfg:Are you eligible for authorization to travel? If yes, you should use the webform dedicated to Covid exemptions. If not, you’re just gonna have to keep waiting. It really sucks. I’m sorry |
Dekembabe:VFS will send you an email with instructions. Just be on the lookout. If they don’t send it soon, submit a webform. |
prettymee:If I were you, I’d start here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada.html If there are steps you don’t understand or need further clarification on, please come back, and ask specific questions. |
cAbLeDuDe:IRCC.COVID-TravelExemptions-Exemptionsdevoyage-COVID.IRCC@cic.gc.ca You might also want to send your request travel authorization letter using a web form. |
Toecyn:I have. I submitted my application in April, completed biometrics in October, got my approval in February and receive a request for my passport 2 days ago. The timeline is super wonky. If I were you, if you qualify, I’d apply for authorization to travel. That may make them pay attention to your application. Otherwise, maybe just be patient. Eventually, they’ll get around to responding. |
elegantxxx:Actually, ignore my previous answer Biko. She’s your sister. You can apply for authorization to travel! I don’t think it matters that she wasn’t the one that invited you. |
Hi It wasn’t a paper application. I applied via Ircc’s official website. I’ll email each of them. Thanks for the suggestions! |
Hi all! Is anyone else talking forever to get their request for passport? My TRV application was approved a few weeks ago but I’ve yet to receive a request for passport. Is there any thing I can do to speed things up? |
