Help! My cousin recently got his visa to Canada based on the family exemptions. It is urgent that he travels this September, but he he isn't fully vaccinated yet, he has only had the first dose. Is there any way he can travel without being fully vaccinated? Is there a way to get the "vaccine card" in lagos just for the trip/

letter of Purpose
Letter of support

Please how do I go about d letters?I hear she needs to get a letter from d canadian govt.Kindly advise.....thank u in advance.

I think you can find samples of invitation letters on the internet.
Letter of purpose is just you telling them your reason for going to Canada. Google some samples and make sure of how to address the letter.
I’m not sure what a letter is support it. Sorry, can’t help you there �

Ideally, you’ll get an email notifying you that there’s a change on your application.
However, you may not get one. At least ,I didn’t.
Maybe log into your IRCC account every couple of days just to check.

Hmm, I don’t think there’s anything you can do.
Did they tell you why your request was denied?
If it’s something you can fix and resubmit, maybe give that a shot.
If you just don’t qualify for authorization to travel, homie, I think you’ll just have to wait until all travel restrictions are lifted.

Are you eligible for authorization to travel?
If yes, you should use the webform dedicated to Covid exemptions.
If not, you’re just gonna have to keep waiting.

Hello All, I submitted a Visit Visa Application on the 6th March 2020. My passport was returned in December 2020 with a note that my application is still under review and my passport will be requested once that is done. Has anyone here gotten a visa approval within this time frame? Do I really need to follow up on the application? Are they still treating backlog as far back as last year Feb-Mar?

I have. I submitted my application in April, completed biometrics in October, got my approval in February and receive a request for my passport 2 days ago.
The timeline is super wonky.
If I were you, if you qualify, I’d apply for authorization to travel. That may make them pay attention to your application. Otherwise, maybe just be patient. Eventually, they’ll get around to responding.

Is anyone else talking forever to get their request for passport?
My TRV application was approved a few weeks ago but I’ve yet to receive a request for passport.
Is there any thing I can do to speed things up?
