Politics / Re: We will Shut Down Nigeria — NLC Declares by Abimbola29(m): 1:52pm On Aug 29
DeLaRue:
The government needs to find a legal way to clip the wings of this NLC.

The police invited the man. No big deal. If you or you organisation has committed a crime under the law, the police can prosecute you - again, no big deal.

The NLC thinking they're bigger than the law just shows how weak the present government is.

Under Mr Buhari, ASUU went on strike for 8 months. The man did not bat an eyelid and refused to pay their salary during the 8 months. Nobody begged ASUU before they returned to work and even after going back to work, Mr Buhari still refused to pay them.

The current President generously paid 4 months out of the 8 months despite the fact that under the 'no work, no pay' rule applied by Mr Buhari, they were not entitled to the 8 months salary.

The current government has also settled the minimum wage with NLC.

Yet, every little thing, the NLC threatens to shut the country down.

Could they try this under Mr Buhari. Absolutely not.

oga ask if the minimum wage was implemented? Stop blaming

Lol... As usual, complain and keep buying. Even if the rice na 50% stone 50% grains... Nigerians will buy it, while the leaders import theirs.
... This suffering has NO SOLUTION until we do the bloody neccesities.
The country should be SHUTDOWN and a REBOOTH demanded!

I was chilling at my tenants cement shop yesterday for some hours while he went to supply.
A customer came and said he wanted cement, ( in my heart I wanted to confirm truly how stupid Nigerians are), I boldly bluntly told him 12k per bag (against the current 10k it's currently sold at).
Lo and behold after murmuring some stupid word like ya'all do online. He requested for 10bags.

I went into my componud to drive out my car and supplied him myself. He was like "ah this fine car for cement, I replied my boys carry cememt motor go supply... You nor fit wait!

My tenant returned, I transfer him 100k and chuckin 20k.

.... It's at this point I concluded of the stupidity of many Nigerians.
Wow

Draslo:
We urgently need to decriminalize cannabis.

The only reason we agree Cannabis is illegal is because Oyinbo told us so. After spending millions of $ on desensitization, the same Oyinbo is now making billions of $ in internally generated monies from cannabis legalization. The shackles of slavery and colonialism are still very much around our necks.

Meth, Cocaine, Crack, I can understand. Those are synthetic compounds made inside a lab. Cannabis is natural. Cannabis is wonderful. The still sell snuff powder but it is cannabis that is illegal. If we're not still modern slaves, we should have legalized before Holland sef
I would have agreed with you 100percent but the cannabis you know today is very different from the once in consumption as at now,it is laced with different substance which endenger human life's ..find out
