Almost all the shops were closed, so we took the next exit and ta-da a 24 hours Tesco Emporium!

Trying to squeeze out the life out of our day saver ticket after resting and freshening up, we entered one bus going to where we do not know but alighted when we saw this place called Silverburn.. This was about 8PM

We learnt there are about 50,000 people buried there on about 37 or so acres of land. Although not all of them has monuments or stones erected in their honour, there are about 3,500 monuments presently.

Coming out of the lower church, stained windows. One of the elderly people on blue robe stood by the entrance to welcome tourists into the Cathedral. The others inside can take you on a guided tour if you need.. They volunteer their time to serve in the Cathedral. One said he has been doing this for the past 20years!

Church was dedicated in 1136. It practiced the Roman Catholic faith from 1137 to about 1500.. Then Church of Scotland from about 1500 to today
