We are heading to the 'headquarters' of our church.

The missionaries from the Church of Scotland founded our church, The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria in 1846. The missionaries in the likes of Mary Slessor, who stopped the killing of twins and Rev. Hope Masterson Waddell who founded the renowned Hope Waddell Training Institution to mention but a few.
Pure, unadulterated Christianity. Taking God's Word to the ends of the earth!

Greyfriars Bobby is a story about a faithful dog who went everywhere with his master. The residents of Edinburgh came to know both of them because they were always together day or night, winter or summer. The master died years later from tuberculosis, but the faithful dog never left his side. He kept watch over his master's grave for 14 years even in the harshest weather conditions. He eventually died at the age of 16 years

Parade down the Castle

After the gunshots, the band played God Save the Queen. One of my fav anthems

Tourists from all over the World, different languages, different cameras, different phones

Commander addressing the Governor and seeking permission to fire the cannons to honour the Queen to the City
The three Cannons was to fire 21 shots among them. But, when the order was given to the 2 cannon to fire, it misfired , the Commander moved to the 3rd cannon. So the 21 shots was now fired between the 1st and 3rd cannons.
These guys eh everything timed to precision.. the boom from those cannons..

We had to cut our tour short(everybody did) when we heard there was going to be parade up here and 21 cannon shots will be fired to welcome the Queen to Edinburgh once She enters the city at 5pm!
