Exactly the same thing we were served. Same thing served as dinner (departure meal) and breakfast (pre arrival meal) Hygiene kit. Sanitizer and 2 Nose masks

Palm oil where we place special order from Villa ![]() After all the talk talk, he said we can go with it since it was rock solid frozen and tightly wrapped. . Next the NDLEA woman sat with a Customs guy, upon sighting our passports, she handed us over to the guy and said 'your people'. Bro said we should find something and give him to give madam, I vex o.. Upon sighting some big men on their way, he asked us to go ![]() Next Agric guy, I just tire abeg...

We took advantage of the Abuja sun to dry out our fish, stockfish and veggies. The hotel staff were very accommodating. God bless them.. Hubby's colleague that travelled in Sept had his dry fish confiscated. Either he was over the 20kg limit or he packed them whole with the head. Fish dey start from head spoil. I watched on 'Nothing to Declare' that if you pass the 20kg allowance, the Agric guys will cease all. So don't think they will take the excess fish and return 20kg back to you. No! They'll cease all. Money fiam! Ok! As you were! ![]()

While cleaning out the house I stumbled on one small gold earring like that.. I took it along and sold it for about 20k and got the rings Last time I bought gold was about 6,500-7,500 per gram, gold on this day was going for 28,000 -30,000 per gram. If you have some, hold on to your wealth ![]()

There is a prog on radio at home called Music of the Masters , usually played on Sunday afternoons and I love listening to it.. There are some pieces I like listening to and was glad they were played today.. The "Blue Danube" and "Radetzky March" by Austrian composer Johann Strauss. If you love the classics, you can watch this New Year's Concert by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra on YouTube. It will bless your soul ![]()

The orchestra was conducted by Riccardo Multi, who has been a conductor for 50 yes and will turn 80yrs this year. The performers passed through rigourous daily Covid checks.. He said amongst other things, "Music brings joy, hope, peace, Love with a capital L". Music is important not because of entertainment, it is not only a profession but it is a mission to make the society better, that is why they do this work That the benefits of music to our mental health cannot be over emphasized. Health is the first most important thing but also the health of the mind and music helps. His message to "Governors, Presidents, Prime Ministers in every part of the world, consider culture as part of the primary element to have a better society in the future".

Spent this New Year morning listening to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. It was founded in 1842.. This year's orchestra is supported by Rolex. The concert that usually see up to 50,000 people applying to attend had empty an hall today cuz of the pandemic. But, when there is a will, there is a way. Seven thousand people from up to 90 countries registered to send audio broadcasts of themselves applauding from their homes.

Happy New Year beloved Nairalanders! May this year find us grasping all the opportunities it has to offer. God bless us all and God bless Nigeria, the land of our birth! |
Less reliance on oil, more on Agriculture going forward. We know it but who will bail Nigeria?

We travel light.. but you see that Ghana must go eh, touch not. To maximize our 23kg for food, we decided to use Ghana must go.. We still bought few things in Abuja and stretched the bag to 32kg and paid for the extra kg. We initially wanted to pay for extra luggage of 23kg but the guy weighing in advised us to stretched 2 bags to 32kg and pay less..
|
Environs.. So we used their services when we went for our biometric appt and they didn't disappoint us. We decided to use them again.. How it works: You pay and they give U a return ticket, you send Ur details and the ticket no to their line at least 24 hrs to your flight time and a driver come pick you at the appointment time..
