Couples, young and vibrant with the promise of lives ahead, vanish without a trace. Their disappearance, the villagers say, is tied to the unspoken horrors of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)—a ritual so dark, it has claimed not only bodies but entire lives.

Couples who once danced under the light of the moon, their laughter mingling with the night breeze, have inexplicably vanished, leaving behind only memories and unanswered questions. The heart of the darkness that envelopes this place lies in the chilling practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), a ritual that haunts the lives of countless women and girls.

Couples who dared to defy cultural norms are often subjected to unspeakable horrors. As women undergo this brutal ritual, their bodies are marked not just physically, but emotionally and psychologically. The pain unfurls like a dark flower, wilting the spirit and extinguishing the fire of love that once burned brightly. For every couple that vanishes, countless hearts remain broken, and the specter of FGM looms larger.

Recent reports of a bizarre feud emanating from a family of a young couple expecting their first child together, surfaced in the town of Ekpoma, where one Mr. Bright AIYEDUN and his wife Royal reside as at the time of this report.

A reliable source, who has a full knowledge of the family squabbles informed us that the paternal uncle of the earlier mentioned individual - one Mr. Ayobai AIYEDUN, who resides at an address in Etsako East, Edo State and is acting under the orders of Chief Imayi OGBE of the same area.

These duo, had been exacting full authority and threats to the young couple to submit to the age-old traditional practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)/Circumcision of a female Genital part.

In view of his refusal to accept this barbaric acts of brutality being performed on his soon to be delivered daughter, the subject was physically abused and tortured by miscreants hired by his aforementioned Uncle.

The victim continues to struggle with the trauma of his prior experience with FGM, which led to the death of his daughter, Jessica. No charges were pressed, and no one was held responsible. Though the physical and emotional scars remain.

In a bizarre twist to the predicament of the couple, they have shown us these rotten and highly infectious instruments used in the process of the Circumcision of most Female Genital parts [FGM].

There are objects of inherent health risks involved [as shown in the pictures on this page] if these items are procured in this barbaric act of human savagery. The side effects can ultimately lead to outright death or protracted illness and sexual inactivity. This could impact negatively on child bearing and loss of interests in intimacy.

The couples have reportedly gone missing, while the last thing we heard was that the case is presently under investigation by the Police and an update will be given as the case evolves.

Issue has been finally resolved, thanks everyone. I spent a lot on airtime(on phone with CCs) and transportation (to n fro bank), was always yelling at them on Twitter and all that.

I sent some money via my GTB account to piggyvest flex wallet account and up till this morning it has not been credited. I've contacted there CC, there mail, and even on Twitter which they responded and I gave them all the details they requested for....
fellow Nigerians Piggyvest has refused to credit my flex account since Tuesday evening o.(Resolved)
