From my experience with cucumber, it is one of the best and at the same time most delicate crop among vegetables. Also, it is a crop which sales is extremely high or fairly good If you do not allow market women to cheat you.

Since it is delicate, it is not just the nutrient management you pay attention to. You pay attention to your spraying formular. Again doing everything at the right time matters a lot. For example staking.

Just look at the pictures posted again by owner of the farm, i can tell you that his plants are in trouble. They are stressed.

My brother, I do not attend to anyone who does not have drip system or just asking me information anyhow. But I help as many people as possible that I see are willing to help themselves. I think you just jumped into farm. Cucumber is a very fast crop. You need to spray when there are pests. And you prevent viral and fungi diseases. I hope you have staked all your plants.

You need to be careful and read well about chemicals. There should be regulations how chemicals are used. Read the instruction on the bottle or pack.

Contact insecticide like cypermerhrine alternated with Lambda- Cyhalothrin + Imidacloprid + copper Based fungicide alternated with mancozeb or any other fungicide + 20- 20- 20 Liquid fertilizer + water conditioner.

Presently, government's NPK mix(20:10:10) is N5,500 per bag. Urea is between N7,500 and N8,000 per bag. There is also this company in Lagos that sells organic fertilizer that they make from waste collected all around Lagos. It also goes for N5,500 per bag but apparently, you will need a lot of it to plant on 1 hectare when compared with NPK/Urea.

Concerning the hand planter, your shipping company will charge you money for shipping from China and customs duty. This is where the bulk of the cost is. This makes it uneconomical to buy one planter. It is usually best if there are three of you, to pool money together and ship via normal shipping (not express) so your costs collectively come down. You should then be able to get the machine at a total cost of N50,000, which is N15,000 less than current market price in Nigeria. This is still good: N15,000 can buy you 2 bags of urea or close to 3 bags of NPK. It can also buy you up to 8 bags of chicken manure.

So for those doing agric as a business, you need to consider such options to save cost.

You can give to their best students overall. But make sure you present it in such a way that they see themselves making money as well. Another angle to sell them is that you tell the school that many kids don't know how to read the time. So to help them, they need wrist watch so that they can learn faster. Just note this point down and the ones before this.

great. But if I may ask, how is that monitored? I mean of I wear the watch, how do I get found if I am kidnapped?

That is one of the major thing im still having problem with. With what i know so far, it seems that it has limit and it can only be tracked within some range.
