Politics / Re: Lt Col Mohammad Abu-ali's Body Transported To Base, See Wife And Kid Too (pic) by Abyam: 9:33am On Nov 06, 2016
So sad! What makes it even sad is some people are here celebrating the loss of this gallant young man. I don't know the young man but his death has touched me emotionally, I feel like throwing out, I'm saddened especially seeing the picture of his young family. Ya Allah forgive this "servant" of yours.
And for all those running their mouth, because it does not affect them directly, May you encounter a situation in same measure as the evil you wish for others

I feel its a calculated attack, this guy has given them sleepless night and they feel this is the best way to kill the moral of our military men. I don't know him one on one, but I feel sad as if he is some very close. May Allah have mercy on his soul.

Jazakallahu khair.
This is really a disease among us.
So many of us are affected by this tribal arrogance, some bring up illogical reasons to make it look okk, but the truth is, it has no place in Islam.

freshvine:

Instead of this Military measures against the Niger Delta region knowing too well all the armaments are procured with resources gotten from their place, isn't it proper if the government sit with them and discuss measures on how they should control their resources and then certain royalties and tax paid to the government.

The fulani man is fully in charge of his cattle, the hausa man has verse area of land for his agricultural produce, the yoruba man farms his cocoa why then do the government not allow resource owners control what God deposited in their land.

U can't compare this Petroleum resources to cattle rearing/farming. Isn't the same federal government in control of other mineral resources in other parts of the country.
What u should understand is no one either in the past or now hustled to get this resources deposited in his domain. They just occurred naturally. yes, Those who happens to live where this resources are found should benefit from it(with gov't given them certain percentage to develop their community), but not holding us to ransom as if their ancestors laboured to get this resources deposited in their domain.

Surprise!
With all the early marriages in the north, I doubt if early marriage is responsible for VVF

I was expecting it to be in the northern part of the country. I thought some people made us believe the cause of this is early marriage.

Politics / Re: El-rufai To Suleiman: Mention The Day I Will Die by Abyam: 12:00pm On Apr 03, 2016
It's unfortunate! Because Sulaiman was brought to the notice of this bill while he was on the pulpit:, somebody approached him with the bill, and he was showing Sulaiman some highlight of the bill. But without digesting it to comprehend the whole of it, He went ahead to rain death and doom on the Governor, and some people are happy with those words are coming out from the buccal cavity of a pastor. If that's the way pastors conclude on sensitive issues, then even a mad man can be one.

Some journalist are taking advantage of the situations on ground to concoct news that have not been investigated , to spread lies with little they know that northerners have an agenda to islamize Nigeria, and the gullible southerners have swallowed it hook line and sinker.

Your "decision making skills" is what is being put to a test here.

Whichever one you choose, you will at one point or the other eventually wish you had gone for the other.

But a Job in a multinational firm that pay 3x of what you'll be earning as an Assiatnt lecturer.
Ha!

Nine years ago I had two job offers. One with a bank and another with the federal capital territory. Because the bank offered to pay more, I let go the FCDA offer. Today I am still with the bank but will do anything to go back to the Fed Govt job I once abandoned. Multinationals pay well but they come with headaches and challenges. If you ask me, please pursue your dream job and have peace of mind
but the coy is into my field of study, i would have first hand experience in my field of study.

Jobs/Vacancies / Between A Multi National And Lecturing Job by Abyam: 7:24pm On Nov 24, 2015
I'm married with 2 kids. I lost my job 3 years ago when my company was restructuring.
So I know how tough it is to be jobless especially with a family that is looking up to you for provision.

On the 15th Nov. God blessed my hustle and i got an offer from one of the high institution in my state as an assistant lecturer. I was very happy when i collected the offer, it rekindled my hope for the future because i have longed to become a lecturer since i was in school as it will give me opportunity to upgrade my certificates and to even study to Phd level with abundant of scholarships at their disposal.

But events took another turn this week when i was called by a coy i attended it's interview 2 years a go, they sent me an sms inviting me to come and meet their boss for final stage of the interview, to cut the story short....... i was offered another job with a mouth watery pay 3x the govt job, i'm to resume work on the 11th of January 2016.

My delimma now is to choose between a job with average pay(lecturing) while career growth is gradual or go for the money with opportunity to travel to other countries and a world class exposure.

Please Senior Men in the house advice me, i need the money but i'm worried because where i was working 3 yrs ago i was well paid, things were moving smoothly but when the time came to downsize, it can take anybody, matured advice gentlemen!
