worldraid: You don't have to be a permanent resident to change your Nigerian drivers licence to an Australian drivers licence. I am a student here in NSW and was able to change to a full licence after passing the required driving tests. For identification purposes, if you are in NSW, you can get a 'Photo Card' (find attached a pic of the photo card), its AUD51 and valid for five years. Thanks a bunch boss ... Una jes too much for here |

bellong: You can give it a trial...
Aceblazer, you can't use the Nigerian driver's license or international license as a form of ID. Your passport will suffice if you don't have the local license. Boss ... Thank you plenty... Really appreciate |

bellong: If you are not on a permanent resident visa, it entitled you to drive legally as long as it is valid. Once it expires, that right ceases. If you are a permanent resident, it allows you to change your license to the full State license you reside after taking some tests without being on learner and Probational driver's license. Thanks a lot Boss. Since am not on the PR route what sort of identification would be most favourable for a student hoping to be engaged with some part-time jobs in Aussie? Just read sth about Nigeria's drivers license not being too favourable... How about the Australian students ID or any other alternatives? Thanks again in anticipation of your timely response |

bellong: As long as it has not expired, once it gets pass it's expiry date, it becomes invalid. Pls Bellong... What exactly is the importance of a valid naija drivers license in Australia? Mine is expired and I care less about renewal but if it's gonna be useful in Aussie then I'd better renewed it as I still have some time to do that... Your usual candid response will be most appreciated Sir... Cheers |

I have this question bothering me and would appreciate an urgent response... Applying for higher education visa subclass 573 for a presumably young guy of 27 (that's a full fledged man oh buh in this part of the world we are made to think we're still starting life...delusional I must say)...would there be any implications of having your relationship status simply read 'engaged' even when you have no concrete plans for marriage yet and intending to travel alone? Can it count for or against you during the course of reviewing your application. Or is it smarter to maintain a 'single' status... I just want the smart choice considering what might play out in the future |

aceBlazer: I have looked at the contents of those pages you skipped and I think they are crucial especially the declaration page where you need to sign... Am not so confident of giving advice on this cos I haven't even got to that stage... But if I were in your shoes right now ... I'd think that those skipped pieces of information are very capable of jeopardizing my grant... And for that any actions to try to correct things would be better than doing nothing. I think you should pick those pages out and fill them and go submit to teleperformance as additional documents which might attract some additional service charge (less than 5k). Of course you should let them know you skipped those parts. You can always submit additional documents regarding your application at any point before you get a final feedback.
My little tots It's about N5400 actually for additional documents |

nurseafrica: On my form 157 A, i forgot to fill on page 26 number 110 the payment details initially because i was not sure of the exert amount and my agent asked that i fill it when i get to teleperformance to avoid filling the wrong figure, this happened because i was not sure of the amount and when i paid at teleperformance it did not occur to me to fill it. I have submitted to teleperformance Abuja? Will this have any effect 2 After bio metrics declaration, on page 26 of form 157A, number 112 is the last question tagged 113 captioned Declaration i also discovered that i did not sign this, ever since i have been so scared, hardly eat or concentrate on anything, i was almost knocked down by a vehicle when i was in deep taught. What can i do? Have Google DIBP and Pretoria but no info on this. Gurus will this affect my Application and what can i do.? i was at teleperformance on 8/12/2015 and did medicals on 9/12/2015 in abuja. Have not gotten any mail from DIBP acknowledging my application has been lodged. So worried I have looked at the contents of those pages you skipped and I think they are crucial especially the declaration page where you need to sign... lilspiceyy: I think it depends on the school policy for international students. Some schools requests for statement (just to be on the safe side should in case DIBP wants to probe further) while some don't. Alright... Adds up. Cheers |

lilspiceyy: I didn't use an agent. For SVP u don't use statement when submitting yur docs to the DIBP. U only submit statement to the school you are applying to and it doesn't necessarily have to be the same surname bt you have to show evidence of relation Btw your cousin and you. Really That'd be wonderful oh. But all my applications so far to schools, there hasn't been any requiring any account statement oh. Anyways...I would be glad to confirm this from as many as have scaled through that huddle and willing to throw more light on it. Good morning all. |

kennethagada: yes you can still meet up if u have your money ready cus session starts by 22 February 2016. @ken...I believe you brov kennethagada: Hello did you use an agent for your visa application? and what was the amount you used for statement of account and was it in your surname? cus my is my cousin and he is ready to sworn an affidavit I think agent or no agent...whoever your sponsor is can swear an affidavit regarding his/her commitment to sponsorship and relationship to you especially if the surname is different. And I think for svp, you should submit your sponsor's account statement even if it's not asked for. I also think it must not get up to 6million but substantially enough to cover the first year living and tuition expenses |

kennethagada: @ aceblazer, it took me exactly 3 weeks to get an offer letter from Curtin University Wow ... Will I still meet up . It's just been one week since they got my application. Curtin is damn slow and then you must use their agent and it's not like they're cheap oh. Thanks tho...guess I should go get a chill pill. |

kennethagada: PLEASE OOO. After paying my tuition my agent came up with a different news, that i need a bank statement of 6,000,000 naira from my brother or parent with my surname: 1. My school (CURTIN UNIVERSITY) does SVP, from the info gathered i thought if a school does SVP u do not need to submit the bank statement with 6,000,000 naira. Please how do i go about dis? my program start by 22 feb 2016 I think we ve got similar situations here...just that you've got a few steps ahead. I hope to abort curtin's forceful amalgamation with these agents...as soon as I land my admission. https://www.nairaland.com/1181160/comprehensive-list-documents-required-visasI think you might need that in case you choose to disembark. BTW...I really would like to know how long it took from the time your agent lodged your application to the time you got a positive response from Curtin?? My patience is kinda drying up...maybe it's the harmattan sha Best regards to all...nice job! |
