bidexiii: Dude the facts are there ! During 2014 to 2016 this terrorist took over Territories in Adamawa, Yobe and Borno states. We suffered casualties that was hidden. One annoying video where NA soldiers where seen running away climbing a mountain to cross into Cameroon, alot of humiliating videos like. And this period, most equipment used where obsolete and we had worst military chiefs, don't forget "dansuki gate"... The list is endless. The truth is people like you easily forget or where just finishing secondly school and you know nothing about the war in the North East. 2014 to 2016 where the darkest moment in the North East, ask any military personnel. It's either some people here do not know the meaning of dark days or they are still foetus as at 2014 - 2016. Don't stress topics, mate |

sizzorchan: which kind salute that man on the right dey give Reminds me of gatemen in naija movies lol To my knowlegde, The salutes are correct. All three force's salute are different due to their independency. In Nigeria, the theory behind the culture ( difference in salute) goes as; The Army, with a open palm gesture with the right hand, with fingers close on each other and the middle finger almost touching the hatband or the eyebrow, is mainly to establish trust among personnel that is bad intentions and no weapons hidden up anywhere, and the close fingers representing BROTHERHOOD. The Air Force, with the palm slightly turn facing the sky at a 45-degree angle is to represent their position of Aircraft at Take-off, to signify they are sky fighters. Also notice most times, their fingers are not always close together? I heard, though unconfirmed, that it allow the passage of wind as the wind grant them passage in the sky too. The Navy, with the palm facing the ground at a 90 degree angle to the forehead and/or the middle finger touching the hatband or at the side of the eyebrow, the reason behind this is to hide the hands of sailors that get dirty due to oil or grease stains while working on the ship and the fingers closing up is as a result of BROTHERHOOD. |

kabe1: Nigeria does not buy second hand rifles.
The T-72 tanks under GEJ were off the shelf.
Artillery shells bought from South-Africa, Serbia and the Czech republic are all brand new.
The BMP-1 we purchased from the Czech republic was second hand, but the IFV we purchased from Ukraine was brand new. Yes, rejected by the Iraqi army, but was brand new nonetheless.
In the previous administration, NNS Centenary and NNS Unity were purchased from China brand new.
Hundreds of Inshore patrol vessels were purchased from France, Israel and Nigeria brand new.
Tavor-21 rifles, Berly M762 rifles and AK-103 rifles all brand new.
MRAPs from China and South Africa all new.
No offence, you're quite ignorant. Bless you Was just about stating this Now, i wonder where the "Majority of Army Equipment" black market really coming from |

Odunayaw: Alaye it is common sense. Posting the corpse of a slain soldier is equivalent to watching child porn. Common sense is not common, you know? |

AskiaHarem: Im pretty sure Nigeria & Ecowas can launch a Successful full scale invasion of Mali it's only northern Mali you have to really worry about which I see remaining a bogged down insurgency scenario. So your saying they should leave it be and let it foster and reach a boiling point? Are you crazy? Nigeria Government and Military already have more than enough on the plate. Going up Mali in the name of big brother saving the day while ISIS/ESN/Bandits continue growing at home is not wise. What i feel Nigeria's Government and Military can do is send in Air Assault Team, such as Fighter Jets, Some Gunship, Tucano can be of great use too. But sending soldiers to open another ground there can result to a disaster. You know? By the way, @Joscofelix; where are thou friend? |

rugged7: Absolute trash. Only a slowpoke will believe this crap. This is fulani Nigerian army propaganda. Useless cowards. If it was one ESN/Bandit or BH boasting on how he go on killing spree with our Soldiers, you wouldn't come out saying it's Propaganda... Lol |
