I have to disagree with this, gcam on rn4 was the most stable I used (I had samsung sensor camera) pple with omnivision had issues though, each developer also has device they targeted, as of now there are more than 200 gcam ports available, you just have to get the one that d developer use your phone or something similar. Then it was authur and urikill version that was most compatible with rn4 so the gcams were pretty stable

I haven't noticed though, I just use the sleep monitoring at night only, but mi notify and fitness app has this feature. The mi band 4 is crazy with the amount of customization it allows
