Politics / Re: Laolu Akande Asks Nigerians To Name Road Projects Completed In Last 10 Years by acesgabriel(m): 4:22pm On Mar 01, 2016
Govt is a continuum baa? They finished the projects they inherited and couldn't finish the ones they started, why not the present govt finish the ones started by their predecessors that wasn't finished and avoid they themselves starting new projects and not finishing it. This is nothing, doesn't qualify a news cause am sure this same govt after 4 years will be guilty of same offense. Our public officials should just shut up and work.

It's a shame that our parents this days don't even try to enforce our tradition and value as Africans on us, now Babymamas no longer a shameful n disgraceful act, it's now celebrated. At this rate don't be surprised that all single ladies left will be baby mamas to one celeb or another. Shame on our women and parents for allowing this insult on our sacred culture n tradition. Our Ancestors will be turning in their graves now.

Thank you Ben Bruce, we need elders like you. It's a shame a message meant to inspire zeal n motivation to our youths is politicized by people am unfortunate to call youths. The global world moves @ a lightening speed cause of innovation and today leaders while we still listen to yesteryears leaders.

What has adopting pidgin got to do with it? Perish the thought joor!
living in a place like Abuja or Lagos and being in a working set up where u have people of differs language, the one language that truly unites us is pidgin English. Go to our schools, offices, churches, mosques, shops etc u see how pidgin has thrived in uniting us all. Check it out...

Can we do it?!!
yes we can, we need to realize the current political structure of this nation has been corrupted and a format is needed. All the current players should be made to resign and giving a back seat while a new set of vibrant minds arise and take over the drivers seat. It's time we look past religion and tribe, adopt pidgin as a uniform language and embrace unity in its trueness, that alone is our saving grace.

I strongly disagree with anybody that believes Buhari or any leader now will pave the way for a better tomorrow. Already the so called fight against corruption is a one sided thing, how about the frauds and looters he (Buhari) has surrounded himself with, or are u still believing the hocus pocus that APC is change? The so called party members not until 2014 joined APC of which most of them has been in PDP for better part of that 16yrs stealing and raping our nation and now they confusing you with the change slogan. I very much like the introduction of one language, Nigeria will fare better if we adopt Pidgin English instead of having this language of our colonial masters. Look around, language goes a long way to promoting unity and pidgin for me is that language we need to adopt, no ethnicity need to be terminated.

After going after the so called looters and recovering our loots, what happens Buhari steps down and another takes over and squanders it or like Jonathan surrounds himself with saboteurs who did nothing but cripple the last administration? Are we going to ask Buhari to return and the war against corruption starts again? Brothers our problem is our political front, all of them have been stained with the blood of our raped nation. The difference btw APC and PDP is the name, I still recommend an emergence of a political front headed by the youths and the start of a political uprising to salvage our motherland. That's our only saving grace from this recycled rapist forced on us.....

It's time the youths wake up and stop slumbering. Nigeria is bleeding and it's not PDP or APC's fault, our so called leaders and elders have raped Nigeria to a bleeding point. Those expecting that Buhari is our messiah are just living a fool's world, our savior is the youth taking over the mantle of leadership as we have been promised years back "leaders of tomorrow". The tomorrow is here and it's now, we are the 'Revolution' and the light. #IBelieveInTheNigerianRevolution do u?

With a well laid down ideology and a synchronized belief we will stand against the usurpers when the time comes.

Okay I didn't vote in the 2015 general elections partly because INEC for reason best to it saw it fit to not print my PVC. Yeah the lady @ my ward said to us that day "sorry ur card is not here and we can't verify the number on ur TVCs cause we were just given cards to come and share, if you don't see your own re apply". Okay so it's Jamb then.... anyways another reason was the two main contenders I had little or no trust in them. GEJ- he had a blue print of his Transformation Agenda but seemed to overlook the 'Friends' around him sabotaging his projects and agenda. PMB- had and still has no clue what his plans are, except to probe n fight corruption forgetting we no longer in '83 where u send em to Kuje for 300yrs without trial. So basically his only economic plan for us is 'Recovering the looted funds' after it then what? So let's say he recovers it and then come 2019 another takes over n squanders it again, what then? Honestly PMB I can torelate his cluelessness on piloting our economy @ least he is 'Fighting Corruption' but Lai Mohammed our Gossip sorry Information minister I don't understand. This guy has completely bamboozled us since being appointed, every day there is something to blame GEJ for, a few days ago he said "Past administration bought no ammunition to fight insurgency", GEJ responded that "the ammunition bought by his Govt is what this Govt has been 'technically' winning the war on terror with", now Alh. Liar sorry Lia said "GEJ Govt bought o but it's substandard and fake" now am confused. Even with his master in good rapport with the West that placed an arms embargo on GEJ Govt they still haven't admitted to buying new n updated ammunition for our men and women in the force thus leaving the qst "is the technical win over boko haram even original or fake, standard or substandard?" afterall our men are still using Jona substandard Russian n Chinese ammunition. I said it in 2015, Nigeria don't need Change we need a 'Revolution' where our political front is completely formatted and a new and fresh air breathed into it. The difference btw PDP and APC is just the party name, no ideology, no blue print. Just like Canada did last year, it's time we the youths start a political revolution, I am of the opinion of the creation of a new party in Nigeria, spearheaded by the youths with the blessings and support of our Fathers and Elders that believes in our revolution project but will play no active role in it just advisory role. Let's make this revolution across the 36 states and capital, across all tongues, culture, religion, tribes. My brothers and sisters of ages 17-45 it's time we make a stand and save our nation. This old men and women, recycled politicians have caused our nation much agony. I call on all tribes and religion, and all who like me believe it's time for the youths to cause an awakening to embrace this ideology. share and spread this word if you believe in this project, it may not start today but it surely will come to pass if we believe. #IBelieveInTheNigerianRevolutionProject do you?
