The Oyo State College of Agriculture (OYSCAI) 2013/2014 Merit Admission List has been released and it available online. Names of candidates offered admission into Oyo State College of Agriculture, Igboora, Oyo State are of those that scored above the cut-off marks in the post-utme screening exercise written on the 31st July, 2013.

A 32-year-old undergraduate, Chizoba Nwabuwa, Fine and Applied Arts student at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State was arrested by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for ingesting 25 wraps of male condoms filled with cocaine weighing about1.250kg.It was discovered when they (NDLEA) tested about 25 wraps of liquid substances excreted by Chizoba Anselem Nwabuwa and the result showed that it was positive. Mr. Nsikak-Abasi Udoh confirmed the arrest.

The strike action embarked on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Chairman, Kogi State University Chapter, Sylvester Osakwe Ukwuteno, has said that the union is ready to fight until their requests are granted, even if it exceeds a year, as he stated that Ghana experienced strike action for more than a 15 months before the government came to their senses and the outcome is currently obvious, “we would do even more till our request is granted,” he stated
