Early this year a father of 2 contacted me from Lagos Nigeria and told me his predicament and his intension to come to Qatar.
I told him before coming down to Qatar learn HAVC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) Or A/C at medium and Industrial level. Learning HAVC took him 3 months. This Man came to Qatar early April and started working Early May.

You will need visitors visa to visit other GCC Countries but its cheap.
For freelance visa you can get your Qatar Identity then leave the the country to come back anytime.

I attend Redeemed Christian Church of God Doha where there are many success stories more than half of her previous members have made it big and relocated to Europe and America.
I had 3 interviews in 3 days after moving to Qatar without Qatar id.
In conclusion some will move to Qatar and be successful some won't. Those you meet after your relocation will determine your success, meet people who are succeeful then you will be and if you meet people who failed then you will be.

My brother that worked for the so called construction companies there, in fact I cud post his pics here where he was on construction site working, so he wasn't lazy as somebody said here. A very cool headed guy who doesn't drink, smoke or womanize, yet he returned back to Nigeria almost empty handed, after 5yrs of living and working in Qatar. Exchange rate from Naira has been going up for weeks now from 190 Naira to 1 riyals and now 220 Naira to one riyals

The exchange rate from qatar reyals to Naira has been skyrocketing from 190 to 230

Getting a taxi from airport cost around 50 reyals = N12k
Hostel cost around 150 reyals per day = 36k
But you will have to stay around 30 days before you through with documentaions.
I was able to contact some good Nigerians who would welcome you to qatar with 200 dollars N153k which was a good deal for me.
Pick you up from airport.

Left lagos 7 am
Arrived Morocco for linking flight at 12.30pm took off 2.30pm
Then arrived Doha, Qatar 1am
