Man tone down. It looks easy outside but not that easy inside. The most used word in Marco economics is peg, go and do your research. And I'm not subject to your interpretations |

I can only agree with pegging dollar but at 700 naira.
In addition, no transactions of foreign currency should be allowed in Nigeria. Domiciliary account should be scraped. People in public positions are not to give financial reporting without statistically backed financial information. How did the funds and processes come together to do this and that. That report had major aspects not just one. Under Meffy, he was practically just creating money from thin air under ways and means without tying it to any productive venture. That is why he was able to artificially keep moving the exchange rate from around 160 that he met it to around 650 that he left it. As soon as the present administration removed that valve, the exchange rate balooned to around 1k5. According to a previous report by CBN, that ways and means has been reduced or totally stopped.
Now the president is now updating us that the ways and means has now been cleared. Of course haters will rather hear that otherwise.
If your doubts are genuine as you are trying to make it sound, then maybe you can give a true picture in figures of what they state of affairs are. Smh. Pele Omoluabi |

TheBillyonaire: Did we really clear the debt, or we wrote it off?
There is need for monetary policy reforms as the status quo is stifling free market enterprise. There seems to be a major challenge between CBN cash management policy and the inflation management strategy.
The present inflation is not caused by excess liquidity, therefore mandating deposit money banks to limit flow of liquidity to the economy will lead to banking system collapse and encourage money laundering. I do not see how any business will keep its operations afloat without laundering cash at this point. I do not see wisdom in trusting liquidity to a system that locks down cash and make it difficult to access, yet the economy tanks. You can not build a society without lending and subsidy on manufacturing and infrastructure.
Unless there are square pegs in square holes at the helms of affairs viz-a-viz CBN and Finance Ministry, we are heading towards a disconnect between the real sector and the informal sector of the economy. This is not a free market economy, this is a quack experiment without clear policy direction. A crisis response system instead of planned proactive system with clear goal.
Reforms are good, but when the policy reforms between the Political Executives are ill-advised by a CBN governor that was not trained to manage crisis economy, then there is bound to be a challenge. Why do we do this all the time? Why are Politicians head of ministries instead of technocrats?
Why do we go to school for one thing and then get elected into office for jobs we were not trained for as compensation for helping us become President?
Why are we this stupid? It is seriously an issue. We wonder how come we won't be in this position since CBN and Ministry of finance never ever advertise openings so can't get the best brains and minds. Unless we have a clear cut out strategy etched on fine blueprints under a combined management of the ministry of finance, CBN, ministry for strategic research we are going no where. I have said it many times, Nigeria, Nigerian companies are always reach when it comes to paper and stock exchange informatics which is just a plot to attract gullible investment funds. There is need to break the dichotomy between the digitized Nigerian wealth and the realistic economy. Like you said, the nation has zero cash management policy and the inflation management strategy. |

The ways and means figures are known, the debt to GDP ratios are known and can easily be compared quarterly,it's only lazy whelps like yourself who comes out to make assertions without facts when all the information are easily available. professorPABX: You may not benefit from the prosperity of NIGERIA. Those who wish Jerusalem well benefit from the prosperity of Jerusalem according to the scripture.
China was a developing nation few decades ago and not too long. Malaysia and Singapore were also not strong nations economically few decades ago. China passed through Fire before it becomes a great nation. Religion and Social information regulations and censorship which violation carried death sentence . In China during that period, there were so much censorship and regulations . We were never allowed to know what happened. We only saw the results but not the sacrifice.
In the WILDERNESS, while the Red Sea was at the front and Pharaoh Chariots were at the back, the Israelites in the middle cried to Moses asking him is it because there are no graves in Egypt that he brought them to die in the Wilderness? They said they preferred Slavery in Egypt to the imaginary freedom.
Those who complained never entered the promised land.
Tinubu is a man of Courage. With a budget of 96% committed to servicing debt on assumption of power, it takes ingenuity and Grace of God to get to where we are today. Once Nigerians accept total deregulation of the petroleum sector as our fate, things will start to happen.
7 billion dollars forex backlog cleared, 30 trillion naira ways and means debt cleared less than 15 months , no government in Africa can do that. 9jatriot: The whole content is just good news, not just the headline.
Small small we will get there. When would Nigerians youths develop strong critical analytical, reasoning and thinking skills. When ? You mean to say once government releases any info, you take it hook, line and sinker without any critical evaluation just because of your ethnocentrism and bigotry. Smh. Shame on your education, a cocoa farm would have yielded better rewards . How can you read financial news without financial stats and proofs and you absorb it hook, line and sinker. Does Nigeria in any way have the means to generate extra One trillion Naira to the national budget let alone 30 Trillion Naira? Use your sense man. You can't keep delegating your education to us Now to educate you, Ways and Means was converted to bonds, transferring the debt burden to Nigerian youths to bear the burden yet again for so many years in addition to existing loans by converting them to bonds doesn't mean it was repaid Where and how does Nigeria have the means to repay 30 Trillion Naira overnight. Do you people hate yourselves so badly all because of bigotry. Tueh Now if the Ways and Means where cleared the first thing to have done was not to take loans but to bring back rationalized subsidy. Meaning subsidize like a quota per day now that we have approximate measurement of the fuel we consume. Subscidize fuel for two years. Use that two years to build twenty modular refineries. Grant small scale refineries setups and have fifty refineries in two years. Then peg the dollar to Naira to 1,000 Naira exchange rate over the two years period using Ways and Means to peg against the exchange rate. This would instantly drop the prices of things by at least 100%. When we ask you people to support we mentally sound people to places we will make better decisions for you guys, you would refuse. Nigeria only needs sound intellectual management which your leaders lack and followers like you too |

I also have a community of companies that buys them. We buy them and have them sold. You keep the bulk of the profits. I have as much contacts to make as much profits as possible. The turn over profits is achievable every week so we do it on a continuous basis. How about this ? |
