It is the customs attached to the courier that does this. They are usually on the watch out for firearms, hard drugs but since there is a scarcity of these and like police they need money for upkeep, they usually place such crazy bills.

Do not be afraid. Don't fall for any gimmicks or explanations they make. Go with what you have. Example if they bill One Million Naira, go with 100k tell them that's what you have and stand your ground. They will accept it. I've done this over 30 times so I know


Be free with them when you get there. Don't show fear or naivety..


You are dealing with Customs attached with the courier not the courier per se.



That amount is to draw you physically to visit their location to negotiate how much you want to pay.

I like to ask a question my fellow Agro scientists.

I noticed that most maize farmers in my village use regular maize seeds and i observed that with their plants, most, i would say 65% had two cobs per plant.

I planted Seedco SC510 and i got 92% One cob per plant despite using fertilizer.

Please I would like to know what hybrid maize variety/brand gives high amount of two cobs per plant please

I buy small yams at 1,500 Naira in my hinterland area o. Big yams 3,000-3,500 Naira. I get tired of them otherwise yams plenty in the hinterlands o.

In many areas in Oyo State, but rural communities where farmers do farming, food stuffs are very very cheap. Example I bought a paint bucket and half of tomatoes for 1,000 Naira on Saturday

Round it up as 75-85,000 Naira per month and you will get the talents you seek
