You must show your “Schufa”, your bank statements, employment letter or means of income, your salary slips for the last 3 months, sometimes a paper from your previous landlords that you always paid your rent in time and have no housing debts.

Court cases are also not beneficial like in the USA. In USA they like to sue. Someone can sue you for Burger and fries and be compensated with millions of dollars. In Germany that’s not the case. Even if you win the case, the compensation is usually very small. Can even be as low as €200.
I know a Transgender boy that the doctor damaged his body during surgery. All he got was €1,500 in compensation. He has to live with the damage for life. But don’t be discouraged. Still sue. If you feel discriminated against, sue them.

You also don’t curse people anyhow. Verbal insult is a crime. Someone can sue you for calling them “idiot”. They can call the police on you for insulting them. Oh and fighting is not allowed. If you dare raise your hand on anyone, you’re in trouble. It goes into your police record and can affect your chances in the future. Keep your hands to yourself!

vpd = Vorprüfungsdokumentation or just preminary review document. this is a document that you will receive from uni assist after they have reviewed you credentials. you need it for school application. though not every school require it.

BA = Block Account

AD = Appointment date for visa interview.
Al = Admission letter

Yes You can open a BA and wait. You just need your passport for verification. But don't for any reason fund it until you have gotten AD even if you belong to CAT A.

Your chances of getting working student opportunities with your skills is high. Working students really don't require practical experience but some background knowledge on the field you want to function.

As regards the language proficiency, I really can say much about Bremen and Cologne on how diverse the city are but city like Berlin and Munich have lots of opportunities for English speakers with IT skills.
