Great news.Thank God for him.Pls teach WAfrica what drugs you used in the Netherlands to cure him. |
It would appear that the PDP has shot itself in the foot with the emergence of Okezie Ikpeazu as its gubernatorial flag bearer in .next years elections.Ikpeazu who hails from Abia South and from Ngwa stock is same with Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe. What happens to the Ukwa branch of the Ukwa Ngwa collective who have been completely sidelined in the scheme of things. There is nothing for them at all.Surprises are likely with the wuruwuru and magomago displayed in the selection of candidates.who will bell the cat.Can Ochendo deliver? |
So if it was a controlled demolition why were the occupants not warned to evacuate the building.Story for the marines. This country is really sick. The people who died must have committed mass suicide then.Rubbish. |
In Primary school years ago we made use of a language called Canary language so as to fool non initiates.'Man' bacame ma one na.School bacame sa ka ha 44 li.Seun will read as sa 25 na etc.In short to decode we make use of the vowels a e i o u as 1 2 3 4 5.W and Y were added to make up 6 and 7.Naija will be Na 13 ja one.Any idea how this language evolved? |
God is Awesome. He is a miracle working God.He is the God that healeth us. The Romans who occupied Pakestine during the time of Chirst even documented the healing power of God.Cornellius a senior military commander got his daughter healed by Jesus.Hundreds of thousand of people have been healed in Reinard Bonnke Crusades all over the world including Nigeria.Let God be praised.Amen |

KenSaroWiwa:Thank God you gave something back to that community by giving them a borehole and some form of shelter.Live your life to please your maker always.God Bless you. |
clara472:Please name the community where the borehole was sunk.Any pics?God bless you dear. |
KenSaroWiwa:May God have mercy on you.May His anger not be kindled against you.We are discussing how we can help uplift the living standard of our rural folks and you are here saying something irritating. |
I ran into a female youth corper from Oyo state whose father is a minister of the Gospel. She teaches in a primary school at Isieke Umuahia,Abia State. This young woman is alreading making a big impact on the local enviroment by empowering widows and the poor of the poor.My friends and i have promised to support her all the way. This God fearing girl is awesome. Are you currently serving?what is going to be your contribution. If God permits we shall see what we can do to assist if the project meets our desired criteria.Happy Service year to you young lads. |
Many Southern Nigerians hardly know what our internally displaced citizens from the North East are going though right now as a result of Boko Haram activities in that part of the country.Imagine people been uprooted from their ancestral lands and put on the run by terrorists.Reminds me of my harrowing experience in Biafra as a teenager where we had to trek from Nbawsi in present day Abia State to my mothers home town in in Ihiala Anambra State.A distance of about 100 km.The Biafran currency had virtually no value and so we could not purchase even food along the way in territories still under Biafran control.Pregnant women, little boys and girls were also on the foot train, carrying their meagre possessions on their heads.Running for dear life is no mean business.Pictures of the exodus from Mubi,Gulak and other places including the home town of the current Chief of Defence Staff has gone viral. All churches in Mubi have been burnt down and full Sharia Law has been imposed.I guess Yerima a senator and former Governor of Zamfara will be chuckling wherever he is now. In any case let us see how we can help our fellow innocent human beings on the run and re settle them fast. Many Boko Haramites might infiltrate many cities now pretending to be refugees. It happened in Biafra. It appears no one is safe anymore in any part of Nigeria. One hopes the military can push the terrorists back and get these teeming hundreds of thousand displaced persons back to their homes. |
With the current onslaught on Boko Haram by the armed forces in Nigeria, one sure way of civilians helping the initiative is for giving information on the whereabouts of their leader Shekau and his top commanders.Since we have waited in vain for a US drone attack to take him we must not forget that a ransom of four million Us dollars was placed on his head by the same US Govt.Nairalanders kinldly form a thread to track Shekau for arrest or elimination. It could be fun and could also yield a largess in the process.Lets get the terror master arrested or killed please.Thanks. |
On his ascension of the emir of Kano throne,Alhaji Sanusi stated that he will be guided by Sharia. On the surface this looks like a harmless statement. When you juxtapose this statement with those so called Islamist fundamentalists fighting for the establishment of Islamic States you begin to get confused.Boko Haram wants the introduction of strict sharia law in Nigeria by conquest.Recall that late Ahmadu Bello vowed in 1961 that he will dip the Koran in the sea in Nigeria. There is the organization based in Mali that goes by the acronym WAIJO that is West African Islamic Jihad Organization. There is ISIS now IS or the Islamic State that recently destroyed The tomb of Prophet Jonah in Mosul,Iraq who have succeeded in chasing Christians away from the City all in A bid to establish an Islamic State. There is a global conspiracy by Islamists to conquer the world for a so called New World Order to emerge. Was the Emir making a casual statement or was he sending a subtle message to supporters of this Islamic agenda. What is the spirit behind all these violence linked to this religion of Islam.? Bombs are going off even in their 'holy' month of Ramadan. Please educate me somebody. |
Governor Rochas was elected on the platform of APGA After trouncing Ikedi Ohakim in 2011.He dumped APGA for APC .Under the IMO Charter of Equity,it is the turn of Owerri zone to produce the next Governor.APGA as a party has already zoned the gubernatorial slot to Owerri Zone. The PDP claims that IMO is a PDP state and would want to claim what rightly belongs to it.How will these variables influence Rochas chances come 2015.Will it be right for the PDP to also zone their slot to Owerri Zone? How far can the APC go?Is the answer blowing in the wind? |
Mynd_44: She has denied it alreadyThanks please for the information but I don't see anything wrong if she changes her mind later. |
Unconfirmed reports indicate that the richest black African,Ms Folorunsho Alakija has thrown her hat into the ring to run as a gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State as published by the Tribune some hours ago.Her posters are said to be out in the usual Nigerian manner.Did not know she is a politician. She made her money in oil and gas according to reports. How far can she go?She has loads of money that can pave the way for her.Eko o ni baje o |
Controversy is raging in many states on the non performance of many Governors. Why should we hail our Governors some of who just pave a few roads and start beating their chests like King Kong.In one State at nearly every road junction the first thing you notice is a big bill board with the photograph of the Governor with misleading information on phantom projects Executed by him.Can we state five basic things or more that these our Governors can at least execute to improve the living standards of our folks living in squalor and deprivation? |
My cousin has arrived. After struggling for over three years seeking for a paid job ,he finally heeded my advice to look inwards and be his own man. With a loan of N300000 he started grass cutter farming. He also distributed bread loaves, and sold pure water in bags.He currently has N985000 in his account. He is in a hurry to take a wife which we are all against. He has argued that a good wife will help his business grow.I have my doubts nairalanders. |
eGuerrilla: The forces of darkness are committed to enthroning a breakdown of law and order in Rivers state.Sorry picture not of Cp Mbu pls |
Whitecoal711: Kudos to the op nice post. Thanks please and best regards. |
SeaGold: OP, I have the feeling that you are talking about General Ike Nwachukwu and for such a man of high calibre, I must admit its the wealth that's keeping them united in his household. |
Ikengawo: The belief that tribalism is on the increase is laughable. Sometimes we make observations (jonathan is the most criticized president) without realizing that time is a continuously changing reality. There's 'more tribalism' because Nigerians are exposed to and able to create their own media now due to the internet. Nigerians have more outlets to run their mouth now so it's going to seem like there's 'more' of everything that pertains to information and opinion. Tribalism hasn't increased or decreased. |
fr3do: If we are busy developping our country,we wont think about ethnicity. Thanks for your comment fellow compatriot but how can we develop in a hostile environment.Which comes first, Development or national cohesion?I got this feeling that we got to be free from ethnic distractions before we can make progress or what do you think.? |
Afam4eva: I don't think NYSC has achieved the purpose it was created for. Tribalism seems to be on the increase and even those that were sent to serve in other parts of the country only come back with the negatives and spread it which generated more hate...As for inter-tribal marriage, i don't see how that will work. As much as people that are in inter-tribal marriages tend to be less tribalistic but it's usually towards to the ethnic group pf their spouse. What about the over 200 other ethnic groups? Apart from that, are people going to be forced to marry from outside their tribe in the name of unity? I think the best bet is just to enact laws aimed at fostering unity among Nigerians. The laws we have in Nigeria are very divisive in nature.I agree with you to a large extent but what laws should be enacted?Do you mean a total overhaul of the 1999 Constiution,or do we wait for the outcome of the National Dialogue?I just pray we can get it right. |
I was full of admiration when I visited the home of a retired Nigerian Army General from Abia, and saw first hand the microcosm of Nigeria on display. The mother of the General hailed from Katsina, the wife partly Yoruba and partly Ijaw.I was amazed at the harmony in inter personal relationships amongst the inlaws and relations in the large family tree of diverse ethnic groups. Why can't this harmony be displayed nation wide.A friend of mine emphasized that the NYSC is a better initiative that can better foster national unity. Why can't we integrate better to form a seamless union?Has the black pigment got something to do with it? Can we share our experiences or views on this please. |
Asari the Edi Abali I doff my hat for you.The clock is ticking gradually to dooms day but Nigerian Leaders and many on this forum don't seem to realise this.Ethnic jigoists masquerading as avowed nationalists will continue to insult our sensibilities thereby hardening the feelings of freedom fighters who are waiting to be called up for action. Nigeria must be restructured or it is separation. The time of one particular group lording it over others is over for ever. I see a lot happening in the next six months in Nigeria that will kick start the irreversible direction Nigeria is heading.Edi Abali tnz. |
I was just wondering what would happen if GEJ fails to run and APC implodes. What if something dramatic happens in the polity and the centre can no longer hold. What if the South South or another geo political zone decides to opt out of the union What if and many other ifs. |
Nigeria is at crossroads and only a concerted effort by Our Political Leaders and other key stake holders can stem the looming danger ahead.Thank God for the social media,Views and opinions can be spread within minutes. Its no longer news that the amalgamation treaty of 1914 expires at mid night today.Majority of enlightened Nigerians are aware that any ethnic nationality can decide to opt out of the union if they so desire.Infact a legal luminary Prof Itse Sagay opined that a treaty of this lopsided nature could be terminated at any time because the natives were not signatories to the so called treaty. The safety valve of the National Conference proposed for Feb 2014 is already been worked against by Obasonjo,Buhari,Tinubu and co.these internal colonizers do not want Nigeria to be restructured for selfish reasons.Information has it that Obansojo and his co-travellers are subtly calling for a military coup. They forget that Nigeria has gone beyond that now.Any Kpakam Nigeria disintegrates. Why should we continue to punish fellow Nigerians majority of who are languishing in abject poverty.which Way Nigeria? |
stone-mind:g Great to be on fp.Tonto looks great.Same for Funke. |
