Princess Vivana, a smashing 21 year old girl living in Port Harcourt is on her way to Lagos to meet a face book friend Felix Akpokim, she started chatting with three months back. She is about now heading to board her flight to Lagos. She just realized that she forgot her smart phone at home. She already knew that she was to meet Felix in Room 301 of Porcupine Hotel in Festal, Lagos. She is unaware that Felix is a ritualist. Her brother had warned her to be wary of strangers on fb to no avail, and has just noticed her phone in the house. John her brother opened her fb page and saw that her sister was on her way to meet this total stranger in Lagos. He did a quick search and got know that Porcupine Hotel was a bad place.

The new Inspector General of Police had alleged that his predecessor in office,Solomon Arase left with 24 vehicles.He alerted the nation about this through the electronic and print media.All hell broke loose soon after this disclosure before the man at the Centre of the whole saga released a statement that the vehicles were undergoing repairs at the police workshop.He maintained that Igp Idris should have put a call across to him to verify.My question is ,why has the press not found it expedient to interview the new police boss or at least the police pro to confirm this?Is it not proper that we hear from the Igp that the matter has been resolved amicably.?Thank you.

I keep wondering why motor park touts are allowed to operate in Nigeria.Could it be because most transport companies are owned by individuals and not government.In my first visit to the USA some years ago I took a train from New York(Amtrak) to Boston.On my return Journey I boarded a Grey Hound bus or something.At no time during the trips did I come across a single tout.Why are things different here.Why should government abdicate its responsibity of providing means of movement for its teeming population?
Thugs from motor garages are also empowered by many State Governors,hence their boldness.I read about one notorious one in Ondo State called Ade Basket,who is said to be on the payroll of the state governor.There was also one notorious one in Ibadan named Tokyo or Takyo.
How do we eliminate the scourge of thugs ,Agbero or ochor Passenger(ochongaloko) from our country?
