An opposition party is needed in politics. But it becomes a CURSE when criticisms or utterances from its members are misguided, provocative and selfish. Samplers: APC, as a party, said nothing to condemn the open declaration of some of its members that Nigeria would be made UNGOVERNABLE if Jonathan became the president; or tries to seek re-election, in spite of his constitutional right to do so. APC kept complaining about Insecurity in the country, but condemned the State of Emergency declared in the most affected states, to control the satanic activities of Boko Haram. Ironically, they want Amnesty for the insurgents. APC complains daily about Electricity Blackout; but has said nothing about the PRIVATISATION of the Energy Sector, to ensure regular Power supply. For many years, the APC leader, TINUBU, kept calling for NATIONAL CONFERENCE. The same TINUBU is now opposing the National Conference for selfish political reasons. TINUBU and his men got the SUPPORT of the people of the South-South to fight for the Presidency of Abiola, from the South-West against the people of the NORTH. Today, the same TINUBU has joined the NORTH, under APC, to oppose the presidency of Jonathan, from the South-South The list is endless. So, is this the brand of Opposition-Party the country needs Prince Godson. |
@OP I don't think there is anything wrong in this.. Reason: Jesus is actually a Hebrew name that is originally spelt and pronounced as Yeshua, meaning Deliverer or Rescuer.. Many Hispanics also name their children Jesus pronounces 'ye sue'. So no biggie here. Now Christ is not a name per se but an adjective that qualifies Jesus. That's why the bible would have passages where Jesus was asked ' are you the Christ'. This is because Christ simply means 'messiah', hence the referring to Jesus as Jesus the Christ. So if your friend chooses to name her child Jesus Christ, it's not a problem at all. The name wasn't what made Jesus who he was.
Thus says the Juju himself. ![]() |
