Hi all, please my younger brother did his biometric on the 3rd of July and since then his agent hasn't said anything to him. the agent said he will get update in his email but it's the 5th week now and no message, he doesn't even know if he passed the biometric or not and he is yet to do his medicals. meanwhile his school is resuming this September. Please how can he know if he passed his biometric so he can go for his medicals?

From Mile 2 under bridge , enter bus going to CMS, from CMS enter bus heading to Lekki/Ajah....then stop at Ikate bus stop, cross over and head into the gate.

Get to CMS busstop ,from cms,enter Lekki/Ajah vehicle . Drop at ikate roundabout (use google map so you'll see the direction).
Cross to the other side. About 2 minutes walk.
Some individuals will approach you,asking you to do photocopy and print out (that's a sign that you're on the right street and close)

Or
just take a take a taxi to ikate roundabout,Lekki, cross to the other side,enter the street/estate, 2mins walk from there.

I don't know where mile 2 is as I am not that familiar with Lagos, but if you find yourself in Oshodi, take a cab going to Ajah, and drop at Ikate. Cross to the other side and walk down opposite where you dropped. Ask the people around that you are going to the VFS office as you are walking down. They will show you the place. It's not far from the main junction you alighted.

You are expected to show funds - Tuition fee + Living expenses + Others for the first year and Also show how payments will be made for subsequent years . One year expense for my son's application was - Tuition 20,000CAD + 10,000CAD Living expenses + 3,000 Extra , (About 20M ) but that was last August . Things have changed now . Living Cost is about 21,000CAD now and the exchange rate is also different. about (45M now.) I then stated that subsequent payments will come from salary and share and real estate investments. and this was backed up adequate documentation including sponsorship letter, Affidavit of support, employment letters, pay slips, TCC , property documents, stock investment etc.

He only needs to show fees that covers his school fees, living expenses for the duration of his course and miscellaneous expenses. You didn't state the duration of his course to know if 75 me stated by the so called agent is justified or just exaggerated.

In order to determine the amount, Whatever have been paid deduct it.
POF = 1yr tuition fee + 2yr tuition fee + 1yr living expenses + 2yr living expenses

My undergraduate son got approved last October and travelled 4 weeks ago. Toronto Pearson was POE. He was not asked to show any document just LOI and passport with visa. He was given study permit without any question.
However months before then, he has been coached severally how to answer any questions. To avoid any issue, First semester tuition was paid and receipt obtained from the school. I also printed soft copies of all the POF document used for the application last October and also requested a reference letter and updated statement from the bank showing some funds, but far lesser than the one initially submitted. Bottom line, prepare well and cover all geound8, but you might be lucky nothing will be asked.

Actually there's no problem with submitting your application without your account, I am the sponsor of my spouse too and we didnt show any account statement from her, we only showed her employment letter, reference letter from employer, study leave letter, and pay slip for 6 months. all you need is to show the source of the accumulated funds from your spouse and you'll be fine. my spouse application was approved few days ago. your spouse is actually a direct sponsor.
