The South West should not feel cheated by the PDP zoning of its chairmanship to North East.
PDP gave them 8 solid years of Presidency under Obasanjo!
For me, PDP should zone the Senate Presidency to South South.
If PDP can woo someone like Kwankwaso with the 2019 ticket, he will pull great votes in the North together with Block SE+SS and Ekiti .

Thinking Kwankwaso will neutralise Buhari Support base in the north is a day dream. Buhari will defeat kwankwaso even in Kano. Kano is a no go area for PDP, with two ministers (Shekarau and Bashir Wali) in 2015 they can't even win one state house of assmbly seat in Kano. PDP has lost ground in the north especially in Kano. They need to change name for them to make any impact in the north.

I think the presidency is in support of the army's violent style of reaction to citizens. As painful as it may sound, in a democratic regime, there are civil ways of quelling violent protest no matter who is caught in d crossfire. It seems this administration hasnt come to terms that in civilian regime, u dont use war firearms on civilian protesters even if they turn violent unless u must hav declared a curfew or state of emergency.

Where is Falana when Shi'ite are making life difficult for people in the north with their activities? They block major roads and even high way, they threaten motorist passing by peacefully and they disrespect the law, thinking they are above the law. They threat law abiding citizens thinking they have monopoly of violence.

I salute the courage of the COAS, Shi'ite are lawless people if allowed they are going to be more than boko haram in their beliefs. They don't respect the institutions of the state or obey the law of the land. They blocks roads and cause hardship to people whenever they operate. They don't seek police permission or cover during their activities. The Nigeriran Army should deal with any group threaten the peace and cause untold hardship to other law abiding citizens.

I'm sure, this is what many international businessmen are doing and those operating in parallel market are having represntatives in Dubai, china and India were they are withdrawing dollars on their behalf.

You suspended PTA/BTAs. You cut down daily withdrawal limit on mastercards used abroad. You suspended foreign currency deposits into domiciliary accounts. You placed limits on western union and moneygram outbounds.

Now this? I laugh.

But d policy is good in other dimension. It will break the activities of speculators who pump naira in their account and carry large of ATM abroad just to withdrwan dollars abroad. This has put pressure on banks in order to settle the foreign banks whose dollars were withdrawn by Nigerian speculators abroad.
Majority of those withdrawing from foreign ATM's are speculators not importers, so the pressure will be less.

Finally, this administration restore hope, confidence and transparency in government which the last administration lacks.
