Health / The Dangers Of Masturbation You Didn't Know About by addluv2: 9:02pm On Jul 27, 2015
Masturbation is mostly performed by men and a little percentage of women also masturbate. This discussion will be based on the medical, physical and mental point of view.

1. It makes the penis or dick to get weak when been used in the body of a woman.

2. It can lead to serious mental side effects as it may cause dependence.

3. It is a serious sin in the holy bible.

4. It makes a penis to develop too many veins thereby making it unattractive.

5. It causes infections in females.

6. It weaken the hormone responsible in producing sperm.

7. It makes you feel guilty.

8. It makes a man moan, suffer and starve for real sex during the period of masturbating.

9. It causes infection in females.

10.It reduces the period of ejaculation in men.

11. It can become addictive

12. It weakens the womb in females—thereby making the

womb unable to carry a child which leads to miscarriages most of the time.

13.It sometimes causes infertility in women.

14.Excessive masturbat!on may lead to premature ejaculation in men, in other words the male ejaculates just after the sexual intercourse has begun or, in some instances, before it has even begun.

15.It causes cancer in women.

16. It can make a woman lose her virginity.

17.In fewer cases, It can cause sperm disability which leads to abnormal children.

With this few points I have made, I will take it that masturbat!on causes harm to a human body. So it should be strictly avoided except if only to be used for medical purposes.

Culture / Igbo Parents Should Please Reduce Bride Price!!! — Col. Robert Akonobi by addluv2: 1:45pm On Jul 08, 2015
Former Military governor of old Anambra State, Col. Robert Akonobi (rtd), has pleaded with Igbo parents to reduce the bride price of their daughters so that ‘’our young boys can marry them.”

“To me, this topic (bride price) has been dealth with in the past by Ndigbo, who came out with a reduced bride price, to enable our young boys marry our young girls,” Akonobi said.

Akonobi also cautioned that men should study their proposed wives closely and longer before engaging into marriage because “once you marry, no one else can put it asunder.”
He spoke at the industrial city of Nnewi, Anambra State during the traditional wedding ceremony of the daughter of a business mogul, Chief Louis Onwugbenu, Onyinye and her husband, Bosah Chukwuogo, weekend.
Nnewi was agog as dignitaries from all works of life trooped to the residence of Chief Onwugbenu for the memorable event. The dignitaries who were from both the military, political and manufacturing circles, including Col Akonobi, Hon. Clement Nwankwu, former member of the House of Representatives; Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of Gabros International Limited and Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Limited, Chief Gabriel and Innocent Chukwuma respectively, among others.
The issue of high bride price was discussed extensively on the occasion. Hon. Nwankwu, in his own speech, prayed that Chief Onwugbenu and his wife would live long to enjoy the fruits of their children, especially those who married from outside their areas.
Also, speaking, Mrs. Onwugbenu expressed gratitude that her daughter’s hand was given out in marriage and prayed that her in-laws who came all the way from Awka to marry her daughter, would go back home safely. Father of the bride, Onwugbenu, in his own speech, said he had already blessed his daughter and her husband to go and make a good home.
On the bride price controversy in Igbo land, Onwugbenu declared:
“We do not charge money as bride price for someone to marry my daughter. To me, what is important is that my daughter should live in peace with her husband. Let her husband’s family members accept her as part and parcel of their family.”http://community.vanguardngr.com/forum/topics/igbo-parents-should-please-reduce-bride-price-col-robert-akonobi

Politics / Buhari Vows To Fulfill His Promises To The People. by addluv2: 5:21pm On Jun 19, 2015
Daura (Katsina State)- President Muhammadu Buhari said on Friday that Nigerians should be patient and accept democracy not as a system of government but as a lifestyle in order to ensure development of the country and that he would fulfill his promises to the people.
The president said this when he paid homage to the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar, after attending the Juma’at prayer at the Lowcost Mosque, in Daura, Katsina State.
“If Nigerians continuously follow the tenets of democracy the country will always be at peace since democracy on its own with its institutions has the mechanism for resolving conflicts peacefully,’’ he said.
The President, who delivered his speech in Hausa, urged those who were aggrieved after the 2015 elections to seek redress through democratic means and institutions.
Buhari noted that Nigeria was adopting democracy from the western nations and learning fast by avoiding mistakes made when studying the weaknesses and strengths of those nations.
According to him, if Nigerians decide to be hasty, some avoidable mistakes can be made.
Buhari urged that elections at all levels must be conducted based on democratic principles.
He urged those interested in elective positions to look for a political platform of their choice, declare their interests and the party would support them.
The President said that in 2002 when he joined politics, many people did not give him a chance because they knew his antecedents as a military officer.
He added that the 2015 polls had clearly shown that it is God that chooses who becomes a leader.
“It is not by power, it is not by wealth but by the Grace of God that I won the election,’’ the president said.
Buhari said that he decided to contest elections because of his commitment to serve the people and not to be served or to amass wealth.
He added that he had served the nation in different capacities in the past and had not had so much money in the banks either locally or abroad or anywhere in the world.
He said all he had over time “is integrity and commitment to serve the people’’ and said that he would fulfill his promises to the people.
Earlier, the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar, said he had known Buhari for his consistency which had become the hallmark of his integrity.
He said he was happy that Buhari was eventually elected as the President of the country after some trials.
The Emir observed that the President was not new in government and wherever he had served he always distinguished himself with integrity and in all he had returned home without a Kobo.
The Emir urged Nigerians to be patient with the administration so that they could allow Buhari to deliver on his promises.
He also urged Nigerians to support the administration with prayers in its new responsibility.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that earlier, President Buhari had attended the Juma’at prayer with his kinsmen at the Lowcost Mosque in Daura where the Chief Imam, Alhaji Musa Mansir, prayed for peace and development in the country.
The cleric also urged Nigerians to pray for their leaders at all times.
He also spoke on the benefit of Ramadan and urged all to extend the hands of fellowship to others as well as give support to the less privileged persons in the society.
Many residents of Daura thronged both the mosque and the Emir’s palace to have a glimpse of the President.(NAN)
