I drive a Nissan Pathfinder 2001 model Automatic transmission. My problem is with the cooling system, without the use of the A/C the engine temperature is alright no problems at all.

But, whenever, I switch on the A/C the temperature rises beyond expectation "above 100 degrees centigrade". I usually had to switch it off must times especially in traffics. Some mechanics advised that I should removed the two thermostat to resolve this issue.

Please what do you think or advise professionally?
