All I know is we are having stock boom next yr.The dollars coming from Nigerians abroad will continue to increase. Nigeria will have more trade surplus. I have plenty friends in onitsha who have stopped importation because of rise in exchange rate.Some are already export one thing or the other. Many are planning and looking for what to export. The Chinese companies are relocating thr factories to naija in most buildings material I know.Why the cost of the little food we are cultivating because of insecurity is not coming down is because of increase in its export to earn
dollars. More containers are leaving with goods than the number bringing in things. Nigerians are now buying made in nigeria provision,drugs and cosmetics than foreign.The economic situation is making every one to recalibrate just like the companies are going to do.The high exchange rate is equally a blessing in disguise. It is like looking at 6 from top/bottom angle. Some how I am beginning to like it because it is going to help in our production level because everyone one is now thinking of what can I export to earn in dollars.
I live on the street and it is what I am seeing I am. talking even my wife want to export garri next yr against her import from UK all these yrs
Next yr will equally be yr for massive agriculture for many because of hunger this yr.
Let God preserve our lives going forward as i Mark my BDay today..amen

My brother, thank you for your concern. I am appreciative. I am good. I have been a little bit away/inactive for three reasons:

1 just set up an electronics shop at onitsha international market and trying to put things together.

2 Just withdraw a little to read, read and read to upgrade my knowledge

3 Just got married yesterday and now in my honeymoon and na Oando do this one

I am grateful to Oando PLC and others for fast tracking things for me.

Going forward, na still trading 75% and investing for long term 25%.

We are still on course with our 1million to 1 billion naira ten years challenge and it is doable

It's supposed to be a peaceful protest, hope its addressed and stopped soon before the hoodlums hijacked it, and that has been the govt concern as well, that it should be peaceful as planned.

While the protest concerns everyone, we still shouldn't wish the country more woes aside what the masses are already facing.
We shouldn't forget to be praying for the country às well.

While this started yesterday, we still have more gainers than losers in the market......24 gainers against 13 losers.
If some stocks decline, it could just be an opportunity to pick lower. Waiting and wishing to cash out on unfortunate circumstances is unpatriotic I Blvd.

Will the ongoing protest cause severe bear on all stocks in NSE? Especially on UCAP that has just be marked down.Pls ur thought

* Let me say, we all do fall victim of this type of moves at one time or the other...
* Even the bosses sometimes do buy high when they sights value in a stock but which may fall further from their entry prices, the difference there is that they buy because they've seen hidden value in such stock.
You have not committed any crime but market forces acted otherwise in UCAP.
* Don't sell at loss!
Find some funds to average it down because it will be marked down today and it will open around N10.30, it will require lesser fund to buy more volumes to average it down.
Buy more, the cost price will fall drastically, then you can sell with little or no loss to enter another stock of your choice (that is, if you don't want to keep it for long term).
* The bonus and Dividend will then be your compensation and profit when paid and bonus added to your CSCS.
* Once you see people posting here that they've seen UCAP bonus, all you do is to contact your broker too to add it to your trading portfolio.

My humble advice: avoid selling UCAP at a loss, as you may be falling victim to the phenomenon known as the allure of dividends. UCAP is a profitable company and a growth stock. I suggest averaging down whenever the opportunity arises. Use the averaging formula: (Total cost price - Total current value) ÷ Current market price = Number of units to buy to keep your holdings in the green. Remember one of the fundamental rules of equity investing: "Never sell at a loss"
Nothing has changed in the underlying fundamentals; only the current market price is succumbing to the law of gravity.

PS: significant weight loss is a serious call for concern. If you seek advise on what to do as regards your "body size" , I'll say you should do the needful and allow nature take it's course. Eat well, take fruits, sleep well, relax and just breeze through life.
