Thanks you very Much Deleson, Despite the fact people who score 56 to 65% where not offered admission in there ignorant fourth roudn post ume test due a stupid admission vacancies, lasu is searching for more poeple to be admitted.Ok Look at accouting no vacancies exist in other state, but in the discretionaly admission list there admitted up to 5 to 6 state there, people there admitted score below 41% even somevody there i don't his name he score 39% and was offered admission, look at admission fraud in Nigeria, there day mean that people who score 49% to 60% in thier are fools.


Let be relalistic, this is Fraud and their admitted who are olodossssssssssssssssssssssss and at the end find them in withdrawnl list next year.

OFFICIALS of the Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board (JAMB) have again criticised the post-universities matriculation tests, being conducted by Universities across the country. They want the universities to immediately restrict themselves to the proper screening of candidates that have met the prescribed scores qualifying them for admission.

Besides, the officials argued that it has now come to the knowledge of the board that while conducting the Post UME screening after the release of UME results, universities are also conducting of a second-leg examinations for candidates who already met the cut-off marks, thereby negating the purpose for which the board was set up by law.

JAMB Registrar, Professor 'Dibu Ojerinde who spoke with Journalists after the opening of the Eight Technical Committee meeting on admissions to National Diploma (ND) and Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE)- awarding institutions at the Kaduna State University recently, stated that JAMB would no longer tolerate acts that would undermine the law backing its establishment.

According to JAMB boss, it was ironical that the universities which provided all the questions there were administered on candidates during the UME examination exercise have now started conducting separate examinations.

"The Universities set all the questions administered by JAMB and we see no reason why they should go back again and set separate questions themselves during the Post-UME screening. If in the first instance, they are saying that the questions they set and provided to JAMB for the examinations are bad and they are now engaging in setting another separate questions, who is blaming who?"

Represented by the Director of Finance and Accounts, Mallam Yakubu Umar, Ojerinde insisted: "the issue of post-UME examination is illegal because the law setting up JAMB, states that it is the only body in the country that actually administers examinations into tertiary institutions, be it Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education, for admission purposes".

To confine themselves to screening of candidates, he remarked that all the institutions should ensure that "all the qualifications of candidates are properly scrutinized to ensure that they meet the requirements for admission".

The JAMB boss also added that "the institutions should make it known to candidates that we expect them to have the cut-off points agreed at the Consultative meeting where the Vice-Chancellors, Minister, Chairmen of the National Universities Commission (NUC) and National Board For Technical Education (NBTE) agreed on the cutt-off points".

Ojerinde stated that the Board should not be dragged into any legal problems that could arise from the current Post-UME screening exercises being conducted by the Universities, if Parents felt aggrieved by the outcome of such exercise. " The fear is that one day, parents may be pushed to the wall and go to court," he said.

"The reason why we have not personally confronted the Universities head-on is that we are public servants working for Government. You see, the problem started when the Former Minister was in support of this issue. How can we then go and challenge the Minister that gave the universities this backing, then we now say, ok, let us do our work. If one day, Nigeria becomes dynamic, the parents would wake up and take legal steps to stop this illegality".

He continued: "I remember when former President Olusegun Obasanjo invited us to the Villa on this issue, some of our board members were there. Obasanjo told the Minister categorically that look, no written examinations oh, screening is all what we are after oh. If people start going to court, count me out oh".

Meanwhile, JAMB chief, while addressing addressing the representatives of Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education at the meeting, urged them to see their efforts in "this addmissions exercise as part of the greater design to achive the objectives and targets set in the National Economic Empowerment and Development Strategy (NEEDS) and our vision to make Nigeria one of the greatest twenty in the world".

Sorry For the Insult of the Vc: But Lasu is lacking due -process in admission list, a university is expected to conduct post jamb test one's and three to four times. people who score 62% where screen due to the admission vacancies and they still more people in that department three disqualifing people in the admission.

This Discretionaly supplementary admission list that was release in lasu is full of candidate who score 40% where offered admission in lasu, this is nonesence and stupid admission process

This case have to reported immediately to the Efcc to take and action and this so call post jamb test should be scrapt in only lasu.
