But I believe d acceptance fee payment shud b d first thing on ur mind. But if u asking just cos u wanna wait till d very last day, u r def sitting on a long thing. Minimum score is 45 I think, if u don't know any VIP that cud help with ur admission, simply get a part time form. Perhaps, try ur luck in some other sch or wait till next year. |

YinkokoOFlife: pls, had 49% in my post ume,nd i choose marketin as my course which d cut off is 54, pls can i do a change of course form 2 marketin again since d cut off is nw 45% nd above,pls I NEED AN URGENT REPLY... Not 100% certain u will be considered for admission. Na Naija we dey where the rule is irregular. What if u decide not to do a change of course back into the same marketting n ur name is omitted in the second list. My candid advise is to go to the marketting department at yct n tell them ur problem. U won't be d first n def not gonna be the last prospective student with same issue as urs. Though money is not easy to come by these days but if its gonna be required of u to get the change of course, pls don't hesitate. |

Perhaps it's been posted but the alert sms didn't get to your sis. She's the only one who cab access her account, via the Atm check balance or she cud ask for the last credit transaction made on her account. Its more like a matter of omission or lost teller. More reason I hate bulk room where they don't post one's transaction immediately. And this country is fvckd up. The banks are even making it worse, are they claiming no cctv captured u at the counter. If it were a robbery, or staff stealing money, they will be quick to jump at all cctv(closed circuit television) footages. |

Just hope u haven't been scammed. What cud assist you now is the register? Hope u filled it. Arm yourself with the payment date n storm the bank. It's totally their fault they didn't post the cash. And it's their soul responsibility to look for the bank copy u dropped in the box at the bank. But that wud even be if u actualy remembered to drop the bank copy into the box. You could try getting attention at the bank. When the crowd sympathises with you, it's gonna def make them feel defeated and they might ask you to come back on a specific day. Goodluck. |

Waoh, wat a quick response from @Omokhary n @Tosnat. Now you have indeed cleared the air on that issue. Your responses were on point. Another thing I observed is this current ASUU strike preventing those who really wanna have a polytechnic education from knowing their chances of being admitted. Many jambites who scored above 220 n performed a bit well in their putmes might get admissions in some universities as well as Yct on merit. They are def gonna compete with the Yct limited admission spaces with those whose hopes lie on Yct alone. Some even pay d acceptance fees while some go all the way paying the school fees 'self'. My only prayer is for ASUU to call this strike off to allow these universities release all their admission lists. It is after that those of us who don't meet d Yct cutoff can have some bits of hope. Good morning Yct prospective students n current students. Need to clear the air on this particular issue. @brainy02, @omokhary......you can also throw in more light pls. Yct has some very competitive courses like SLT, Mech Engine, Elect Elect, Accounting, et al. To my best of knowledge, what usually happens is that a merit list comes out where some students are admitted on merit. Then a change of course form is sold where students who meet d 50 mark aggregate can purchase to get admitted to courses/department that declare vacancies. What I need to know now is this. 1. How many admission list should we expect from Yct. 2. Does yct release supplementary lists for those highly competitive courses most esp Mech Engine / Elect Elect. 3. If a competitive course cut off mark is 60, is it advisable for someone with an aggregate of 56 to opt for the change of course or just keep hoping s/he might be admitted when the second list comes out. 4. Does Yct allow students to change from one department to another in Ond 2 if there's a high tendency that s/he can excel in the new chosen course. Thanks. |

Please, could someone explain what the hell happened in these scenarios. "Someone having a jamb score of 174, yet was able to have a Putme aggregate of 52. Now consider another having a jamb score of 234 and yet was able to have an aggregate of 53. Both putting in for the same Elect/Elect at YCT. That I believe is the sh#t we get from a country called Naija..........where there seems to be injustice everywhere. Especially from JAMB, who don't give a damn about the candidates' lamentations in this year's results. Many students who could have easily made the 200 score, perhaps above that, were 'underscored criminally' just to cover up for their inefficiencies. Yet nothing was done by the government to get justice for them. I am not trying to 'diss' you man. My anger is on DIBU n his cohorts who cheated these students. It's so sad they denied them a great chance of writing the university Putmes. Gideojim: Pls wat d hope of some1 who got who got 232 in ume n 53 in post ume going 4 electrical engineering pls help |
