I have an experience with most of what you have asked Lizcom but the irritation that comes with being labelled a marketer if I post my experience here restricted me from doing so. Too bad I guess

[quote author=lizcom25 post=27426275]@Adebunny: Just relax. A change of hospital won't affect you at the POE. Have a genuine reason and your cash. My wife used Dr. Fagbohun during her interview and we didn't know about Doctoresparati until after the interview, and Thanks Lizcom

MerryMom:
I'm heading to El Paso mid next month. Any mamas?

Am also Elpaso bound first week in Nov. But all this negative reviews by the VO is making me develope cold feet about using their letter at the POE.
Any suggestion on how to deal with this as I already purchased my ticket to Elpaso so using another Dr's letter at POE will be a bit difficult at this stage.

ella77: Good day everyone,
Will like to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone on this thread. I got into El paso on Friday wt BA via Dallas.

Congrats on your smooth entry. Please did you meet CBP officers at Dallas airport or El paso ? Secondly which of the airports ( Dallas or El paso) did you pick up your baggage? I plan to fly BA and route it straight to El paso just like you did so I need this information to guide me, thanks.

Hello everyone, I have been lurking on this thread for about a year but this is my first post ever. Thanks to everyone that has shared their visa interview experiences. I was at the US embassy in Lagos today Aug 22nd for my interview and it's time for me to give back.

Our background briefly, I applied with my husband and 2 year old child, I am currently not working, I and hubby have been to the UK several times while my husband has also been to the US.

Our interview was scheduled for 8 am but we got there 8.20am and were done by 10.15am, find excerpts of the interview below

VO: Morning
Us: G.morning

V.O: So why are you going to Elpaso?
Hubby: To have our second child
VO: Did you have your first child in the US?
Hubby: No, we had our first child in the UK.
VO: Do you have a doctor's correspondence?
Hubby : yes (he presents the letter from doctores para ti)
VO: So how much are you budgeting?
Hubby: about NxM ( he shows VO budget spreadsheet)
VO: what do you do?
Hubby: explains what he does for his company ( VO requests to see his ID card, guess it's because it's an American multinational organisation, he wanted to verify)
VO: how long are you staying ?
Hubby: I plan to spend 3 weeks while my wife and child will be spending 3 months.
VO: (turns to me ) So who will care for you when you go into labour?
Me: My mom
VO: does she live in the US?
Me: No
VO: But she has got a US visa ( pointing to his monitor, trying to tell me he can see it)
Me: yes she has a US visa.

VO: Okay your visa is approved( he goes on to explain that we will be asked questions like this at POE so I should go with all my documents).

We said thanks and he told us to pick up our visa next Tuesday.
