Lol I’ve noticed a habit. People who are approved a visa and who share their stories here, ALWAYS make sure to tell us how many people were denied before their interview. Why is that?

Really, it’s not to spite anyone. It’s just to show that we are not better in any way. But we got it by the Mercy and favour of God. That hall is really a lion’s den. I could recall I entered with boldness, but seeing how blue papers were flying all around I was almost fidgeting but I started singing and speaking in tongues in my mind.
I encourage those that were delayed here to refire, and they will surely come back and share their testimonies.
The race is truly not for the swift but grace and favour caps it all.
That’s my own humble submission.

I was interviewed by a young guy at window 9, every one before me was denied.

And my transcript goes thus:
Me:Good morning
Vo: Good morning, how are you
Me: Fine and you?
Vo: What course are you going to the us to study
Me: I am going to study and Obtain a Masters of Science degree at the Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville
Vo: Why this course
Me: I had always wanted to be a consulting analytical Chemist. There is the shortage of Chemist in Nigeria, hence the reason for fake drugs and chemicals everywhere. There is no strict measures for testing these chemicals. I said some other things I can’t remember
Vo: What does a consulting analytical chemist do
Me: An analytical chemist consults for agencies like Nafdac and SON. For example if you need to get Nafdac number for a Pure water company, the sample is sent to the consulting chemist to test and the result is sent back to them to see if it meets the standard requirements.
Vo: What are the elements you test for in water (this question threw me off balance as I wasn’t expecting it)
Me: Water is composed of hydrogen and oxygen. I’ll test if there are heavy metals or other impurities like carbon in the sample. Didn’t even remember to talk about the PH and other stuffs.
Vo: Did you apply to any other school?
Me: Yes, Michigan Technological University and University of South Florida
Vo: Did you write any test
Me: Yes I wrote Gre and Toefl
Vo: What did you score
Me: Gre 294 Toefl 97
Vo: Who is sponsoring you
Me: I’ll be sponsoring myself
Vo: Looks at me like ??
Me: I got full funding, just need some token which I can afford
Vo: Checks my i20 very well and continues typing. Are you married?
Me: Yes
Vo: Do you have Kids?
Me: Yes I have a boy and a girl. Told him their ages
Vo: You mean you have a boy and a girl and confirms their ages
Me: Yes with affirmation
Vo: Have you travelled out before
Me: No I haven’t got any reason to travel out of the country
Immediately he dropped my passport in the tray honestly I didn’t hear anything again my heart leaped. He passed the white paper and said somethings .........
I went out and started crying cos it could have just been God.
No document was asked. My most dreaded question was not asked.
Meanwhile i had my Bsc Chemistry 11 years ago.
I have been working in the financial industry. No work experience in chemistry. But I just wanted to go back to school to pursue my dream.
I want to encourage someone here today prepare like it all depends on it and pray like it all depends on it too. With God nothing shall be impossible. Do not relent in pursuing your dream. It will manifest at the appointed time.
Thanks to all that has contributed on this forum. God bless you all.
Dedicated to the Almighty God.

Politics / Ibb Murders: Major Ibrahim Babangida And Major Mammam Vatsa At Okigwe In 1969 by Adebusayo(f): 11:18pm On Oct 28, 2010
Major Ibrahim Babangida, the self-aclaimed "evil genius" and Nigeria's most corrupt dictator is seen here standing with his bossom friend (both of them Army Majors) in Okigwe in 1969. 17 years later IBB framed Vatsa in a phantom coup. He set up a military tribunal to try the "coupists" but the tribunal which had the input of  Babangida's minister of defence, Major General Domkat Bali found no evidence of Vatsa's involvement. But blood thirsty IBB won't have any of that, he had to kill Vatsa.

When Vatsa was facing the firing squad, he was asked what his last words were, he didn't say much, after checking what time it was, he removed his wristwatch and asked his would be killers to pass it on to his wife.

IBB went on to become one the biggest socio-political menace to confront the Nigerian state. In 1993, he annulled Nigeria's freest election that he 'd organized, claiming that he had access to security reports that would have led Nigeria on the part of war. Almost 17 years after, Babangida wants to come back to power. You can imagine what he will do to Nigerians if he could have done this to Vatsa!

~Sauron~:

1) Is this freaking possible? Jaybee, be smart.
TS stays in Nigeria. How could he have used the credit score of someone in the USA to cop a credit card in Nigeria?
Why are you talking like a Jew? Abeg, that one na story. It's not fecking possible.

2) Using a UPS account for his school runz does not make him a scammer. . . . .Who was he scamming? The school?
Was the intention based on siphoning money from the school or just gaining admission?
If these makes TS a scammer then 99% of Naija parents are scammers who keep lying about their age to avoid early retirement.

3) TS lied about his location? FAUX.
Plaitnumnk knew all along TS was in Nigeria. They call each other, don't they?
What number did Platinum dial to reach TS? A Yankee number?
Abeg, get some perspective.

Spot on !!!

TheSeeker is not a scammer, Plat was aware from the onset the he lives in nigeria,

Plat offered to give him her Dads bank statement to facilitate his visa/admission which he refused BECAUSE the embassy might call her DAD

theseeker is not innocent and so is Platinumk, they are both guilty.

its just a love gone sour story.

Platinumk should count her loss and move on.

@Adebusayo

What you are saying could be true, i had that in mind but not in this direction.
Any way we should not poison the mind of the people that would want to help him out.
You can then talk after the guy must have come out of his supposed predicaments.

tell us your view of the whole arrangement, the point I'm letting out is that, there is no predicament in the first place, does this whole episode sound reasonable to you, just sit and think over it. Haba

i dont know anyone on this forum can't we have an independent reasoning without linking up people ? i have not accused anyone of anything, i simply posited my findings it is left for the seller to clarify if it was an error of omission or commission, and if you think 3,204 miles is so small that is almost the maintenance schedule lapse of an average vehicle.
