A boyfriend scored extra points with his 17-year-old girlfriend by dressing up as her to take an end-of-year exam in her place. Ayan Zhademov, 20, of Kazakhstan, was desperate to help his girlfriend when she told him how worried she was about an upcoming exam. After failing to calm her pre-test nerves, he hatched a mad plan to impersonate her in the exam room.
The girl, who has not been named, was preparing to take her Unified National Testing, an exam in Kazakhstan which school students must do to gain a place at university. Donning an old black wig, some make-up and squeezing into her white blouse and grey skirt, Zhademov tried sneaking into the exam room in the town of Zhetisai in south Kazakhstan.
But he was spotted by examiners, who after deciding the girl looked different to her identity card, took her aside for questioning. Zhademov was fined £1,400 for his actions.

The police officers who took one way and knocked down a University of Port Harcourt Mechanical Engineering student Edah Oghenekevwe Richard, have been identified and arrested by the Rivers state Police command. The deceased was on his way back from Church and standing along Assemblies of God Church junction in Alakahia, PH, when he was hit by the Police Van. The state police command is conducting further investigation into the matter and if the officers are found guilty, they will be taken to court.

President Olusegun Obasanjo has called on leaders to stop squandering the nation's commonwealth and be prepared to make sacrifices in the coming year – 2016.
Obasanjo, in his Christmas message after a church service on Friday, admitted that the country's resources had been squandered, saying it's time for leaders to adjust to reality of the current economic gloom.
His words: "We have had downs in our economy before, we have risen up again. We have made money; we have squandered it. If we are sensible at all, there must be an end to squandering."
According to The Cable, Obasanjo said that the President Muhammadu Buhari's administration had warned Nigerians about the poor economic situation but he still called on the government to do more.
He said, "I still believe that there are still areas of government that are not serious enough to make us feel that what is being said is something that would concern all of us. It would be very difficult for the people of this country to see that certain arms of government are living in luxury, while the government is asking the ordinary people to continue to make sacrifice.
"I believe that all arms of governments and the private sector should realise that if we are going to shorten the time of this hardship, if we are going to have any cushioning effects for the ordinary people, then there would have to be sacrifices made by those who have to make more sacrifice."

The Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness, Muhammad SAnusi II, has revealed to a delegation of religious leaders how he used his personal income to rebuilt a church that was destroyed during religious unrest at Rogo local government area of Kano State.
SAnusi II, said: "I renovated the said church to help avoid a situation where a Christian believer might feel offended and his religion disrespected".
Emir SAnusi II, stated this during a one-day Inter-Religious and Community Conference organised by Kano State government with the theme: "Towards Strengthening Interfaith and Community Relations for Harmony, Peace and Sustainable Development".

A Frenchman who killed his boss and pinned his severed head to a fence at an industrial gas factory has committed suicide in his jail cell, prison authorities said on Wednesday. Yassin Salhi, 35, hanged himself from the bars of his cell using his bedsheets on Tuesday night, according to authorities at Fleury-Merogis prison, in the southern suburbs of Paris.
The driver and deliveryman carried out the grisly attack on employer Herve Cornara in Isere, southeastern France in June, displaying his boss's head outside the plant surrounded by Islamic flags. He tried to blow up the facility but was arrested and remanded in custody.

Mr. Fajemidagba Foluso is an elder in the Christ
Apostolic Church, CAC, Mowe in the Obafemi
Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Foluso who recently had a close shave with death
in the hands of persons suspected to be ritual
killers, narrated his ordeal to Vanguard Metro.
According to him, he boarded an inter-state bus at
Mowe on Tuesday November 24, 2015, intending
to alight at Redeemed Bus-Stop. After paying the
N30 fare demanded by the conductor, the bus
which picked seven other passengers, sped off.
Instead of stopping at the Redeemed Camp Bus-
Stop as earlier agreed , the driver headed for the
Ogere interchange. It was at this point that the
passengers became apprehensive and demanded
to know where the driver was taking them to.
Their questions were rebuffed by the speeding
driver who instead, ensured that the windows
were securely closed. The unfortunate passengers
were allegedly striped half-Unclad and
dispossessed of cash and personal belongings
before being transferred to a waiting van at the
Ogere interchange.
Elder Foluso who spoke in an emotion-laden voice,
said one of the victims, a boy who was going to
write an examination on that fateful day, struggled
with their abductors until he was gunned down.
Undeterred by the sad end of the boy, the
gangsters allegedly carried his corpse along with
them until the seven abducted persons were
transferred into a fully air-conditioned van which
was stationed at the Oghere interchange,
ostensibly awaiting the arrival of the "loot".
Recalling what transpired on that fateful day, Elder
Foluso said: ''All the seats in the van had been
removed and we were forced to sit on the floor for
the continuation of the journey to an unknown
destination. At a point, the vehicle veered off the
expressway into a thick forest. But before we left
the expressway, we saw some police check points
and cried aloud for help but to our greatest
surprise, our abductors started exchanging
pleasantries with the uniformed policemen.
At a particular illegal check point, some of the
policemen whom we sought assistance from
retorted, 'help ko, help ni, abeg follow them to
wherever they are taking you to. That's your own
luck…' The unfriendly attitude of the policemen
heightened our fears. We knew at that point that
danger was lurking around the corner hence we
resorted to seeking God's intervention.
The journey inside the forest took almost three
hours before we arrived at a building located on
the rock. As soon as we alighted from the vehicle,
a man came out from the building to exchange
pleasantries with one of our abductors. He spoke
in Yoruba language, ''Melo l'é ko wa l'óte yi''
? (How many did you bring this time around ?).
''Seven plus one dead body''.
This response sparked off an argument as the
man shouted, ''Ki ni mo fe fi oke se? Owo meje ni
maa san o (what am I doiAng with a corpse, I will
pay for seven only). He took a headcount to be
sure that seven people were actually brought into
their den. The vehicle left immediately the man
paid an undisclosed sum of money to our
abductors. We were later divided into two groups
but three of us were put in a room".
Continuing, he said; ''A lady among us was
wounded severally for struggling with them. On
my part, I kept shouting the name of Jesus. It
came to a point that one of the ritualists shouted
from within and ordered me to keep quiet. 'Ta l'o n
pa'riwo ni'beyen,' (Who is making noise over
there?), he barked. I continued shouting the name
of Jesus quietly and few minutes later, one of the
aides who pitied by condition, offered to assist me
to escape.
He asked me to pretend like somebody who was
pressed and wanted to answer the call of nature,
Luckily, this strategy worked out. The guy asked
me to take my clothes and follow him. We trekked
for about an hour before he showed me a bush
path that led to a village and left. I trekked for
another one hour before I got a motorcycle which
took me to the expressway where I stood for a
while before getting a bus to Lagos.
It was during the journey that I realised we were
far away from Elelubo, Ibadan. I was finally
reunited with my family and church members.
That was how a journey of about three minutes
ended up in 24 hours". The plight of Elder Foluso
is synonymous with what hundreds of innocent
people go through on daily basis in the hands of
"one-chance" abductors and ritualists along the
ever-busy Lagos/Ibadan expressway.
BP investigations show that one-chance operators
along the expressway, have adopted new tactics to
trap and rob innocent commuters. Some of the
unlucky commuters are sold at give-away prices to
prospective buyers who in turn, sell them off to
ritual killers who slaughter them and sell to
occultists and other evil persons.
BP learnt that the amount paid is negotiable and
is dependent on the age and sex of the victims.
Similarly, delicate parts of the body like the
breasts, tongues, private parts and nails allegedly
attract higher prices. BP further gathered that
since some states in the South-West, especially
Lagos, introduced security measures to stem the
activities of one-chance operators, they have
shifted their base to the Lagos/Ibadan expressway.

Following the new template that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is working out with the the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), premium motor spirit (PMS), popularly called petrol, may sell for less thant N87 per litre next year.
Addressing journalists on the new framework in Abuja yesterday, the corporation's Group General Manager, Corporate Planning and Strategy, Bello Rabiu, said that as at Thursday, the cost of bringing one litre of petrol to the country was N65.
The logistics for bringing it to the depot and to the filling stations, he said, is about N10.55. The distribution cost is N15.49 while the open market as at today is N91.52/litre.
Continuing, Rabiu said: "Now, if you take away N87, which is regulated price, it means that subsidy is basically N4.85. If we are consuming 41 million litres, it means we are subsidizing N200 million a day."
He dropped the hint that the cost is now reducing naturally because the present importation cost of N65 was N71 about three years ago and with the review, a new template would indicate that there is no need for subsidy in Nigeria.
In his analysis of how the Federal Government would reduce the cost of fuel importation, he said: "If we can look at this one that is N91.52 and we pray we can get about N15 off there, that will bring it down to a little more or less than N80. If we take off N10.50, we come down to N81. If we take it down to N7.52, we come down to N85.
"So you can see that the price we have today, if we look at the template can come down, and many Nigerians will believe that there is no subsidy."
He added: "Looking at this cost of N91.52 per litre, you can see it is what has been in place since 2000 to 2002, which looks to have been over-inflated."
He said that government is now planning to optimize the cost of fuel for the benefit of the citizenry.
