"Mansa"

Season II - Episode 16 (Final Episode)

Mrs Amposah stood up and before she could open her
mouth to talk, a team of policemen led by Riri invaded the
meeting.
Upon seeing the policemen together with Riri, Mrs Amposah knew they were after her.
"Riri, what is the meaning of this?" The chairman asked
"Good day woman, are you Mrs Amposah? Turning to Mrs
Amposah, a Policeman asked.
"Yes i am, how may i help you?" She answered
"You are under arrest" the policeman said getting ready to
handcuff her.
" Hold on officers. I can't allow this to happen. What has
she done? The chairman said trying to stand up for Mrs
Amposah.

Before the policeman could answer or make a move, Mrs
Amposah pushed him away and used the emergency exit
which was right behind her.
The policemen quickly ran after her. Mrs Amposah knew her way around the church very well so she outsmarted the policemen.

She had her way out of the church premises. She ran into
the street just adjacent the church where she was
unfortunately knocked down by taxi on a top speed.
She got knocked down which made her unconscious. The
police rushed in on her and immediately rushed her to the
nearest hospital.

Kuu took Mansa home after rescuing her from the hands of Asabea and her accomplice. On the other hand, Asabea and her accomplice were also arrested.
As soon as they got home, Kuu gave Mansa an aspirin to
ease the headache she had as a result of the torture she had in the hands of Asabea.

Kuu took her to her room, sat beside her as she laid in bed.
"Mansa, how are you feeling now? Kuu asked.
"I'm ok, Kuu. Thank you for saving my life" Mansa said.
"Mansa, don't worry i owe you more than this" Kuu said.
" I don't understand you, how do you owe me?" Mansa
asked.
" Mansa, there is something you need to know, i have to tell you this Mansa" Kuu said.
"I also need to tell you something but I'm really feeling
sleepy now, lets do this when i wake up. " Mansa said.

Kuu understood her. Before he knew it Mansa was far
asleep. He wanted to leave her to sleep but his thought
made him forget.
As he watched her sleep, he began thinking.
" So after all Mansa is not my sister. I am not related to her
anyway. It still doesn't justify my actions. I raped her and i
have to ask for her forgiveness. I will leave town with my
biological mother as soon as I'm done, Only God knows if
she will forgive. Please touch her heart. " Kuu thought.

Mansa on the other hand was fast asleep. She had a dream.
This time around, she found herself at the church, kneeling
in front of the altar praying.
She suddenly felt that she wasn't alone, she turned to her
left side and to her surprise, she saw Mr. Amposah also
kneeling and praying with her. He looked cheerful.
"Mansa my daughter, i told you never to cease praying. Now God has answered your prayers through his servant. I can rest in peace. " Mr Amposah said this and went behind the altar.

Mansa didn't see him any more. She started calling his
name out hoping that he will come back only to hear Obed's voice from the exact place she first met him when she came to pray at church.
"Mansa, I'm done here. I have to go back" Obed said.
"Go back where? where have you been all these while? All
along you knew my mum, Obed. Who are you? Mansa
asked heading towards Obed.
"Mansa, God answers prayers in so many different ways and in His own time. Everything has a reason. Now to answer your question of who i am, is it not clear enough for you to know. Anyway, i will meet you at the hospital today" Obed said and within a blink of an eye Mansa didn't see him anymore.
"What hospital is he talking about?" She asked but was
awoken by Kuu.
"Mansa, are you ok? You were talking in your sleep" Kuu
said.
" Its Obed" Mansa said
" Yeah Obed. I saw him, he said i will meet him at the
hospital today" Mansa.
"Seriously, Obed is freaking me out lately, we don't even
know his whereabouts and now he is appearing in dreams" Kuu said.
"He has been really helpful. It's a mystery i don't know who
he really is. Kuu, you wanted to tell me something? Mansa
asked.

Kuu's face changed suddenly. He stood up from the bed
and knelt down.
"Kuu what are you doing, what is this? Mansa said trying to
get him up but Kuu kept kneeling down.
"Mansa, I'm the one who raped you" Kuu said.
"what!!!! Mansa exclaimed.
"I got carried away, it wasn't meant to be so, i didn't know
the handkerchief would weaken you. My lust took over the
love i have for you. I did that to you Mansa and i ask that
you forgive me. " Kuu said.

Tears began running down Mansa's cheek. Mansa out of
pain and anger slapped Kuu.
"Am sorry Mansa, forgive me, i don't care if you tell the
authorities to arrest me, all i want is for you to forgive. I
love you Mansa, and that was not the right way to express
it. Mansa am sorry" Kuu said crying.

Mansa was speechless. The truth was hard for her to take.
She kept silent. Her silence was killing Kuu. The silence of a
woman speaks louder than a political campaign. Her silence made Kuu feel guilty more than ever. All he needed was Mansa to forgive her.

Mansa went towards him and knelt right infront of him.
They were both kneeling and facing each other. Kuu couldn't stop himself from saying sorry. Before he knew it, Mansa landed a kiss on his lips.

It was passionate and sensational. To Kuu, it was like a
dream. He wanted it to last forever. He didn't believe it.
Mansa stopped kissing him and said
"You took away my pride as a woman. You hurt me so
much but i can see it in your eyes that you're sincere about
the love you have for me and above all u saved my life when I almost lost it. Kuu, i know my mother and Mr
Amposah is my biological father. Obed was behind all these revelation . " Mansa said.

"What! are you sure of what you're telling me" Kuu asked.
"Yeah, i will explain everything to you when my mum gets
here. I will be calling her soon. Kuu, what was Riri doing in
your room if you claim you love me" Mansa asked.
"Mansa, she came on to me, i didn't allow her, Mansa she
was even the one i met today. She made a confession to
me. Riri is in jail now as am talking to you" Kuu said
"what, for what?" Mansa asked but they were interrupted
when the house boy came knocking at Mansa's door.
Mansa opened the door and saw the houseboy.
"what is it? Mansa asked
"I just got a call from the police hospital that Mummy had
been rushed there. She was knocked down by a car" the
house boy said.

"0h my God" Mansa said. Kuu also heard what the
houseboy had said and without wasting time, they both left the house and went to the hospital.
On their way, Mansa called her biological mother to meet
her at the hospital where she was going.

They got to the hospital and immediately, they were directed to her ward. They got surprised when they saw two policemen right at the entrance of the ward. They ignored it and went straight into the ward.

Kuu and Mansa saw Obed at the ward. He was there
together with a doctor and one nurse.
Mrs Amposah was in a critical condition. She was talking
weird and was just laughing for no reason in particular.
"Doc, whats wrong with her? Kuu asked.
"Her condition is critical, apparently she was running from
the police and eventually got hit by a vehicle. The impact of
the fall may have affected her skull. But for her talking and
laughing, i can't really tell until a psychologist attends to her.

I will leave you with her. " The Doc said and left.
"Mansa" Obed called.
Mansa came in and hugged him "Obed, where have you
been, whats going on here?"
"Mansa, her cup is full, listen to her" Obed said.
"Hahaha, " Mrs Amposah's kept laughing
"I can see my dear husband, hahaha, why didn't you allow
me to get rid of Mansa, I can't let her get all the properties."

She said. It looks as if she was crazy and was seeing things
that actually was not visible to anyone.
"Hahaha, my dear husband, its all your fault, Chris and i
deserves more than this. I want it all for myself hahaha. If
only that good for nothing girl Riri didn't betray me. After all the money i paid to her was from the Church's coffers" Mrs Amposah was on top of her voice now. She was going
crazy.
"So its true" Kuu said " Riri told me all these"
" Yes, take everything, are you happy now hahaha. No my
dear husband don't take me yet, don't take me hahahaha" Mrs Amposah said.

They all stood there and kept watching her as she talked. All of a sudden she started shaking very hard like the reaction you get when you are electrocuted.

Mansa out of pity couldn't see her suffer, she called the
doctor immediately to come to Mrs Amposah's aid.
The Doctor came to see her still shaking with a white foamy substance coming out of her mouth, just like what
happened to Mansa.

The Doctor instructed that they all wait outside the ward.
They went out and coincidentally they saw Mrs Lokko
coming towards the OPD.
Mansa rushed towards her and hugged her in tears.
"what is it my daughter? She asked.
"Its Mrs Amposah, she is dying mum" Mansa said.
"Don't worry my daughter, its going to be alright" Mrs Lokko said.
"Obed, where have you been" Mrs Lokko said.
"I have been with you, my sister" Obed strangely said.
Mrs Lokko was surprised that Obed called her, her sister as young as he looked.
"Kuu, come closer" Obed called Kuu.
"Kuu this Mansa's mother" Obed told Kuu.
"And Mansa, i thought you had a question to ask? Obed said and took her hand.
"Follow me" he said and walked with Mansa towards the exit of the hospital
"Mansa, I wonder why you still asking who i am. Have you
forgotten the fourth person, that stood among Shadrach,
Meshach and Abednego in the fire furry. God answers
prayers in different ways. Your duty is to keep doing good
to your neighbour and never cease praying. You don't know who you may be helping. Go back inside there, I believe you have something to tell Kuu" Obed said.

Mansa got goose bumps all over her. Before she could turn and go back to the OPD. Obed was no where to be found.
Somehow she wasn't frightened. She smiled and said to
herself "Thank you God"
She went in to join Kuu and Mrs Lokko her biological
mother. To Kuu's surprise, Mansa took his hand and told her Mum that...

"Mum, this is Kuu, my husband to be" Mansa said.
"Wow, you have my blessings " Mrs Lokko said.
Kuu was so surprised of what he just heard.
"I know how you may be feeling now, but i realized i love
you ever since i saw Riri come out of your room that night.
Kuu i love you". Mansa said and they hugged each other.
It was at this moment the Doctor came back looking
dull.
"Doc, how is she? Mansa asked.
"Its unfortunate, we did our best but she didn't make it. She has passed on" The Doc said.

Even upon all what Mansa had gone through in her hands,
she still loved her like a mother. She cried bitterly.
"I suppose you're Mansa? Before she passed on, she told
me to ask for your forgiveness on her behalf. That was her
last words. "The Doc said.
"Doc, I've already forgiven her" She said while still in tears.
Kuu comforted her and together with Mrs Lokko they left to the house.
On the other hand, Chris had been processed for court and eventually was found guilty.
He then subsequently jailed for 15 years with hard labour.

Few weeks after the death of Mrs Amposah. Mrs Lokko took it upon herself to look after Kuu's Mother. She gave her the house that Obed and Mansa once lived in. With Kuu's educational back ground and Mansa's rich Mother, they both studied each other and grew into loving each other until they were finally convinced to get married......

THANKS everyone

And sorry for the delay

"Mansa"

Season II - Episode 15

"Kuu, My name is Riri Delali, a professional nurse and I'm
responsible for the death of your father" Riri revealed.
"what? What are you talking about Riri? Kuu asked.
"Kuu, please don't make this hard for me than it already is.
let me finish talking, and i promise this will all be over when
I'm done" Riri said.

Kuu kept mute as he listened to whatever Riri had to say.
"Three months before the death of your father, his food had consistently been poisoned. It wasn't meant to eliminate him, it was to make him sick and motionless in bed. Along the line, i guess his body was no more immune to the poison which led to his heart failure. I am responsible for the death of Rev Amposah, your father.

The broken chair Mansa sat on at church were all my doing.
How lucky she was, i tried to make her paralyze but
somehow, God's hand was on her.
Kuu, I am a criminal. I was paid to do this, but my
conscience is against me. You are a good person and i love
you. " Riri said.

Kuu was speechless. This was unbelievable. He never
believed what he was hearing. Kuu wanted to ask so many
questions but he was stunned by the revelation Riri was
making.
"Kuu, look behind you" Riri said.
Kuu turned and saw two gentle men sitting right behind
them.
"They are policemen, i brought them here to arrest me after talking to you. They are waiting for me Kuu" Riri said as tears began running down her cheeks.

Kuu just didn't know what to do. What was actually
happening?
"Kuu, I'm sorry. Forgive me for all these. I love you" She cried and called the officers
"Officer, I'm done " Riri said.

They immediately came and handcuffed her and led her
away. Before they finally exited the door Kuu ran towards
them.
"Officer! wait, wait" Kuu said.
"Riri, who was paying you to do this? Kuu asked.
"Kuu, is it not clear enough for you to know. I've done my
part. It's now up to you but make sure you get the purpose
before your act. "Riri said as they led her away.

Kuu then came to the realization that this revelation actually justified the conversation he heard between Riri and his foster mother.
It was very obvious who was behind this.
How will Kuu go about it? confront her directly or use other means?

Mansa was at home by then when she received a call from
a guy.

ON PHONE
Mansa: "Hello"
Caller: "Hello Mansa, meet me at D Avenue Hse number 37.
There is something i need to let you know in the next hour".
Mansa: "Obed, is that you?
The caller didn't answer her. she tried calling back but the
phone was not reachable.

Mansa somehow didn't feel right about it. She then called
Kuu, but his phone too was switched off. She texted him where she was going.

Mansa left the house in a haste, just to reach there on time.
She knew that if the caller was really Obed, then she would
have to be time conscious. Obed never joked with his time.
He was punctual at all times.

Mansa got to the venue and to her surprise, the houses
there were very few. After several minutes of trying to
locate the house, she found it at a place where she least
expected. The surrounding of the house looked unkempt and bushy.

Immediately, she came to her senses that Obed will never
opt for a meeting place like this. She quickly tried calling
Kuu again but his phone was still not reachable. She then
texted him again.
As soon as she was done, a young man grabbed her by the
hand and said
"Follow me".
Something wasn't right about this. This looked like a
kidnap. The young man took her inside the unkempt house
and to her surprise Asabea was there seated on a chair,
waiting for them.

Asabea was still not aware that Chris, her boyfriend, was
behind bars at the moment. She thought Chris had
outsmarted her. The only revenge she could think of was to eliminate the one she thought was between their way,
Mansa.
"Tie her up against that Chair" Asabea instructed.

The young guy tried doing what he had been instructed but Mansa tried freeing herself from the glimpse of the man.
The accomplice who is a quick tempered person landed a
heavy slap on Mansa's face.

This made her weak enough to be tied to the chair.
Asabea stood up,took a syringe she had in her pocket and
injected herself, taking some of her blood right in front of
Mansa.

"Chris thinks he can get me sick and get away with this. I
don't need you for anything. I know Chris has his eyes on
you that is why he is not giving me attention. I am going to
inject you with my blood and get you infected with HIV as well. This is just the beginning Mansa. You evil girl" Asabea said.

She then came closer to her to get her injected as well.
"No, no please, i have nothing to do with Chris. Please"
Mansa cried and begged Asabea not to do this to her.
As Asabea was coming closer, Mansa just closed her eyes,
bent down her head and begun praying silently. She knew
that the God who healed her at the hospital didn't heal her
for anything. She knew that she wasn't healed from being
paralyzed to get HIV.

Before Asabea could get closer and inject her blood into
Mansa's system, policemen came rushing in on her and her accomplice. The syringe was taken from her and she was handcuffed. Kuu was the one behind this.

He quickly rushed to Mansa and untied her. Mansa on the
other hand embraced Kuu as soon as she was untied.
Back at the house, Mrs Amposah had a visitor from the
church who came to deliver a letter summoning her to come before the board in the next hour.

She laughed out really hard upon seeing the letter. It seems she was expecting it and had already prepared for it.

She got dressed and went with the messenger to the church where the meeting was being held.
She got there and saw the entire board seated, waiting for
her behind a big round table.
Mrs Amposah was not looking nervous a bit. It was obvious that she had really prepared for the meeting.

The chairman of the board welcomed her and immediately
commenced with the purpose of the meeting.
"Mrs Amposah, upon reviewing the church's financial
statements, we noticed that there have been withdrawals
which have not been accounted for. These withdrawals
were made by you. Can you give the board the details on the expenditure of those monies or withdrawals?" said the
chairman.

Mrs Amposah stood up and before she could open her
mouth to talk, a team of policemen led by Riri invaded the
meeting.......

"Mansa"

Season II- Episode 14

In no time she got back home. As soon as she opened the
door leading to the living room, she was stunned by shock
upon seeing Kuu, Mansa and the lady who claims that she
is the biological mother of Kuu.
"What are you doing here woman? Mrs Amposah who was
already in a state of shock and frustration asked the lady.
" Seems you already know each other. This makes it more
easier then" Kuu said. He had begun feeling hatred for Mrs
Amposah for hiding all these from him.
"Kuu, whatever she told you is a lie,"Mrs Amposah said.
"It's a lie? How did you know that she had already told me
something, unless of course, there is something you're
hiding from me. Perhaps you're not really my mother" Kuu
said.

Mrs Amposah realised that she had already dug a pit for
herself that she couldn't hide anything more.
"Look, before you begin yelling at me, you owe me a big
gratitude. She may be your mother but i have raised you up all these while and i deserve an appreciation rather than you talking to me like this" Mrs Amposah said.

"You really don't know how it feels, do you? Of course i am
grateful to you for being there for me, but the fact that i
have lived under a lie for all these years is what i can't
compromise" Kuu said.

Mrs Amposah saw the rage in his voice so, suddenly she
burst out.
"Yes she is your mother for Christ sake, are you ok now?"
Mrs Amposah yielded and walked out on them.
Mansa came behind Kuu and held his shoulder, giving him a gentle massage.
"Its alright Kuu, its alright" Mansa said.

Kuu's mother immediately knelt on her knees and begun
asking for forgiveness from Kuu.
Kuu helped her up, looked straight into her eyes and without saying anything, embraced her.
It was an emotional moment where both of them shed
tears.
"Mum, lets go to my room, we need to talk more" Kuu said.
"You should join us Mansa" Kuu said to her.
"No, this is the time you need to clear up things alone with
your mother. I will be there when you need me" Mansa said.

Kuu and his biological mother went to his room to catch up with old times.
It was about this moment, that the church board had a
meeting. Mr Asare, the church's financial secretary, gave an account on the Church's financial position for the period of last six months.

After the report, it was clear that the Church's money was
being embezzled. Almost all withdrawals were made by Mrs Amposah without any respective receipt.
The board however decided to summon her for an
immediate meeting.

Kuu on the other hand was getting along with his mother in his room. He was now beginning to understand her and the actions she took many years ago. She just didn't have the money to take care of him.
Kuu even had the opportunity to see his biological father's
picture which her mother had brought along. Indeed he
really looked like his father.

They got interrupted when Kuu had a phone call from an
unknown number.
"Meet me at 'Eddys' in 45 minutes" said the caller and
hanged up the phone.
Kuu had no idea of who that could be, but he had no option
than to honor it.

"Mum, would you like to spend the night here? Kuu asked
"No, i won't be safe here" She said.
"Oh, why won't you be? Kuu asked "no one is capable of
harming you"
"You really don't know my son. I will go and come back
tomorrow so we can talk more" She said.
"Lets go together, I'm on my way too" Kuu said and they
both left.

He alighted his mother at her house. The house looked old
and was uncompleted. His mother indeed lived in poverty.
Kuu vowed to take care of her as a son should.
After taking her to the house, he went straight to Eddy's and to his surprise, he saw Riri sitting on a table of two.
The call came from Riri.

Indeed, from where she sat, she looked disturbed and worried. Kuu wondered what Riri really
wanted to tell him.
He then went and sat beside her. Without wasting anytime,
Riri begun talking even without welcoming him.
"Kuu, My name is Riri Delali, a professional nurse and I'm
responsible for the death of your father" Riri revealed........

Season II - Episode 13

"I'm your mother, my son" she said.
Kuu looked surprised as he didn't believe his ears.
"What did you say? Am sure you are in the wrong house "
Kuu asked.
"I know where i am. I brought you here" She said
This was getting weird for Kuu. He looked more confused
and offered her a seat.

As she sat, Kuu asked her,
" Madam, how do you mean you are my mother? Am sure
you know who my family is. Kuu asked.
"My son, i can explain only if you give me the chance to"
She asked.
" Ermm can you hold on, let my sister join us, perhaps she
can understand you more than myself" Kuu said and without waiting for her response he called Mansa out.
Mansa, who was already upset with him came still looking
angry.
" I beg of you, can you please join us" Kuu asked.
Without answering him, she greeted the woman and sat
down.
"Thank you" Kuu said thanking Mansa.
"Madam, you can now explain yourself " Kuu told her.
"I personally raised you up until you were a year old. Your
father died when you were eight months old and after, things became very difficult for me.
I couldn't play the role of a mother. I barely had enough
food to eat not to talk of feeding you......" She said but Kuu
interrupted her
"Hold on there, you said my father died when i was eight
months old? kuu asked.
"Yes, my son" She answered.
"Meaning you are claiming that late Mr Amposah is also not my father? Kuu asked.
"Yes my son. Your biological father died of a cancer" She
said.
Mansa was completely lost by what was going on. She
didn't understand anything but she could tell from the looks of the woman that she was being truthful and sincere.

" What is she talking about, Who is this Kuu? Mansa asked
looking more concerned now.
"That's exactly what i want to find out. She says she is my
mother Mansa. " Kuu said
"What? Mansa said with shock.
"Let's hear you madam" Kuu said then she continued with
her explanation. My only option was to leave you in the care of someone worthy. That was when i saw Mr and Mrs
Amposah.

They agreed to take care of you as their own, on condition
that i kept this adoption a secret. They sent you away to the states until i heard you had returned upon the death of your forster father.
Kuu, you are my only son, i couldn't abandoned you just like that, i had to think of something. This was my only choice my son. Your name is Kuuku Antwi and am your mother." She revealed.
"Stop it, stop it, i can't take it anymore" Kuu shouted. He left her and Mansa and ran into his room.

It was too much for him to bare. He couldn't handle it. He
was just confused whether she is telling the truth or not.
Mansa went into Kuu's room and found him sitting on his
bed.
She joined him and took his hand. She rubbed her thumbs
on his hand. This made him feel more relaxed .
"Kuu, i think you should take it easy now. Don't draw any
conclusions yet. Its amazing that i also went through the
same thing " Mansa said.
"What are you talking about, Mansa" Kuu asked?
Mansa brushed him off and said "I think there is only one
way to find out if she is telling the truth"
"How? How can we tell, by doing a DNA i guess? Kuu asked
"Nope, i think we should keep her here till Mrs Amposah
comes, then we can confront them both." Mansa
suggested.

Kuu felt comfortable as long as he remained besides Mansa.
Even with this situation and the news that he had heard
today, he still felt guilty for what he had done to Mansa.
Mansa however harboured what she had saw at dawn thus Riri coming from his room.

"Mansa, there is something, i need to tell you" Kuu said.
"I already know Kuu" Mansa said.
" You do? Kuu asked
"Yeah, i know you're going out with Riri, i saw her coming
out of your room this dawn" Mansa said
"oh that, Mansa it is not what you think" Kuu said
"This is not the time for this, lets go back and keep the
lady waiting until Mum returns" Mansa said and left Kuu's
room to the living room. Kuu had no option than to also
follow.

Mrs Amposah went to Riri's house after trying severally to
get in touch with her but to no avail. Fortunately, She met
Riri at her apartment.
It was obvious that Riri didn't want to see her. She didn't
give Mrs Amposah a smiling face, however Mrs Amposah
was able to persuade her into getting into her car so they
could talk.
"Riri, why this attitude? You left my house without telling me,
your phones have been switched off all these while. What is wrong with
you? If this is about your money then take it" She said
taking a bundle of 50GH¢.

To her surprise Riri refused it.
"Mrs Amposah, what do you even hope to achieve from this.
I have done a lot and I can't keep up with this anymore.
Excuse me, i don't want your money" Riri said.
"You must be joking right? This is a prank" Mrs Amposah
said.
"You think so? don't ever contact me anymore, am done"
Riri said and got down from the car banging the door right
at Mrs Amposah's face.
She didn't believe what just happened. It was like a dream
to her.
" She must be upset about something, i know she will be
back. "Mrs Amposah said to herself".
Mrs Amposah went straight to the police station. She was
not allowed to see her son Chris with a reason best
known to the authorities.

She couldn't bare it. She had to create a scene at the station for not allowing her to see her son. The only thing that restrain her from creating any more problems was the fact that she was threatened to stop her actions or will be arrested.
There was nothing more she could do. For the first time you could tell how frustrated Mrs Amposah was.

She had no option than to go back home. Her day just went bad. Riri rejecting her and now the police disallowing her to see her son.
In no time she got back home. As soon as she opened the
door leading to the living room. She was stunned by shock
upon seeing Kuu, Mansa and the lady who claims that she
is the biological mother of Kuu

Season II - Episode 12

Kuu got up and saw Riri. Her beautiful perfume smelled all
over her. Kuu immediately knew the intention she had. As to whether he will be able to resist that temptation, only time will tell.

Her kiss was very sensational, to be honest Kuu wanted
more of it. When Kuu saw her,he said
"Riri, what are you doing here? This is not right" Kuu said.
Riri shushed him by placing her hand on his lips right after
which landed another kiss on his lips.

It was getting intense as they began feeling each other's
breath.
Suddenly, Kuu came to his senses. As difficult as it was, he
pushed Riri away.
Riri tried coming back towards him, but he stood aside and
stopped her.
"Kuu, don't do this to me. I love you. I have loved you all these while but you have never noticed me.I really love you" Riri said.

Surprisingly, there were some form of sincerity in her
words.
Riri was truly being truthful. She was really in love with Kuu.
Kuu noticed and went closer to her. He then placed his
hands on her shoulders and looked into her eyes.
"Riri, how come you didn't tell me all these?" he asked.
"That's why I'm here now Kuu. I have never loved any man
like this before and I'm willing to do anything to prove this"
Riri said.

Kuu was very gentle to her. He then asked her to sit by her
side so they could talk.
"I don't doubt what you're telling me. Don't wanna take
advantage of this moment and have something to do with
you, that will hurt you more. I have already done that to
someone i really cherish and I'm yet to right up my wrongs.
I don't want you to go through the same. Let's find
appropriate time so we talk about it, please Riri. " Kuu said.
Riri began feeling bad. She noticed Kuu was a good person.
She began feeling bad about herself.
"Thank you Kuu" she said and stood up to go.

Before she stepped foot outside the door, she turned and
said to Kuu, "I have something to tell you. Make time for us
then we can talk about it," she said and left the room.

Unfortunately, as soon as she stepped out of Kuu's room
and shut the door behind her, she ran into Mansa who was by then going to the kitchen for some water.
Mansa was surprised to see her come from Kuu's room. Riri didn't say anything to her. She just went straight into the guest room.

Somehow Mansa was hurt by what she saw. She didn't go
to the kitchen again for the water. She initially wanted to
confront Kuu about what she had seen but went into her
room and harboured everything.
Early the next morning, Kuu was getting ready to go and see his brother Chris at the police station.
He still loves his brother though Chris had always paid him
back with bitterness.

It was at this moment when he heard a knock on his door, it was his mother.
She came in and found out that Kuu was getting dressed up.
"Where are you going this early morning? Mrs Amposah
asked.
"To see Chris, i want to see if i can get the lawyer to get him
out before its too late" Kuu answered
" Don't worry my son. I got it covered. I will be meeting the
lawyer today" Mrs Amposah said
"I thought you said you were travelling this morning with
Riri" Kuu asked.
" Yeah, that's the more reason why I'm here. Where is Riri? I went to the guest room but she is not there" Mrs Amposah said
" I haven't seen her this morning. Can she leave without
telling you" Kuu asked.
"Naa, i don't think so. Let me try reaching her on phone" Mrs Amposah said and walked out of the room.

Before Kuu stepped out of his room, he had a phone call
from an unknown private number.
He picked up only to find out it was Obed.
"Hey Obed, where are you? I have been looking for you
since yesterday" Kuu said.
"I'm sorry Kuu. I had something i needed to take care of. I
just want to tell you not to go anywhere within the next hour, someone wants to see you" Obed said.
"Me? Who is that? Kuu asked.
"Don't worry about that. Just don't go anywhere in the next hour. By the way tell Mansa that she will soon hear from me" Obed said and quickly hanged up.

Kuu couldn't call back because the number was privatised.
Kuu went straight into Mansa's room. She was reading her
bible when she got there.
"Yes, how may i help You" Mansa said in a very harsh tone
as soon as she saw Kuu entered.
" Wow, seems you had a bad night" Kuu said when he
noticed her tone was very harsh towards him.
That was unusual of her but he ignored it.
"Indeed it was bad. What are you doing in my room?" Mansa asked.
"Cool down sis. What has come over you? I just came to
check up on you and i also have a message from Obed" Kuu said.
"Whats the message?" Mansa asked straight away.
" Well, he called me just some few minutes ago. He said you
will soon hear from him" Kuu gave her the message.
" Ok. Is that all? Mansa asked
"ermmm Yeah. Mansa why are you..... " Kuu asked but
Mansa didn't make her finish.
"I'm going to shower up so later" Mansa said and walked
out on him into the shower.

Kuu felt that perhaps Mansa had somehow gotten to know
that he was the one behind the rape.
He went out of her room and headed to the living room.
Mrs Amposah was on her way out when he got there.
Apparently, she had not heard from Riri ever since she left
the house without her notice that morning.
She was on her way to look for her whereabouts, then later rush to the police station to see Chris.

About 45 minutes after she left, the gate man came into the living room where Kuu was seated.
"Sir, someone is at the gate looking for you" He said.
" Who is that? Kuu asked.
" Sir, i really don't know" he said.
"Ok, bring him in" Kuu instructed him.
The gate man did accordingly as instructed by Kuu.
He came back with the visitor. Kuu was so surprised to
see such person in the house because the visitor was not
looking familiar in any way.
"Good day sir. I'm looking for Kuu" said the visitor.
"I'm the one madam" Kuu said.
"You are Kuu? Oh my God, you look exactly like your father"
said the visitor.
"Ermm excuse madam, who are you? Kuu asked.
"I'm your mother, my son" she said.......

Season II - Episode 11

As much as the issue was looking strange to Mansa, the
gateman was smelling of alcohol, so Mansa didn't take him
serious. She thought he was drunk.
"You know what, i will be back some other time. Take this
and use it for something" Mansa said and gave out some
amount of money to him as a token and left.

Asabea on the other hand was trying as much as she could
to reach Chris but it was to no avail.
She thought Chris was trying to be smart on her and that got her mad.
She thought of doing her worst if she didn't hear from him
by close of the day, little did she know that Chris had been
arrested.

She then planned to expose Chris and hurt Mansa in return if she didn't hear from him. Already she had tried to
eliminate Mansa but Mansa survived that.

Asabea was virtually responsible for poisoning Mansa at the hospital all because she felt Chris was having something to do with her.
She came to that conclusion when she met Mansa and Chris at the living room the time she visited Chris. She read
meanings into it when she saw Mansa placed her head
comfortably on Chris' lap.

It wasn't her fault though. she had always seen Chris cheats on her, and to her this was no difference.
It was left with only a matter of time for her next action to
be known.

Meanwhile, Elder Asare the church's financial secretary had also noticed the tremendous withdrawals from the church's account made by Mrs Amposah.
He had called the attention of the elder that visited Mrs
Amposah earlier on and arranged a meeting with him.
Elder Asare had been waiting for long at his office but the
other elder was not showing up.

It was only after an hour passed the scheduled time that he arrived.
"Sorry Elder Asare for my lateness" he apologized as soon
as he arrived.
Without wasting much time, they began with what they had in mind.
"Elder, I called you not for any reason but lately I have
noticed some huge withdrawals made by Mrs Amposah
without my approval. Its even obvious that the entire board is not aware of this. I think we should call for a board meeting immediately and bring it to their notice" said Elder Asare.
"Elder Asare, there is something you need to know. Mrs
Amposah is up to something. I must admit that I know
about the withdrawals. I went to her place the other time to inquire but the answer she gave was not to my satisfaction.

We need to get to the bottom of this matter," the elder said.
" Are you sure of what you're telling me?" asked Elder Asare.
"Absolutely Elder," he answered
"What do we do then?" Asked Elder Asare.
"Lets call for a meeting with the board members without her
notice then we can decide from there," he suggested.
" That's a good idea. I will do that as soon as possible" Elder
Asare said.

Mansa by this time had gotten home. He met Kuu alone at
home, specifically, at the living room. They both hugged
each other.
Honestly they had missed each other. However, Kuu felt it
was the right moment for him to confess to Mansa what he had really done to her.
"Mansa, there is something I need to tell you, kindly sit
down" Kuu said.

As soon as Mansa sat down, Mrs Amposah came in.
Kuu saw that her mother looked very disturbed and worried.
She had been crying since she heard that Chris had been
arrested.
"Mum, what is it? Are you ok? Kuu asked.
"I'm just coming from the police station. Your brother has
been arrested." Mrs Amposah said.
"What! for what? Kuu asked
"He was caught in possession of illegal drugs" she said.
"Not again!" Kuu said feeling pity for Chris. He wanted to
help even after all what Chris has done to him.
"I just want to be in my room now, I'm not feeling well. Riri
will be spending the night with us today. Kuu, show her the
guest room when she comes. I will be traveling with her
tomorrow morning," Mrs Amposah said.
"Let me take you to your room," Mansa said and helped Mrs Amposah to her room.

Kuu didn't like the idea of Riri spending the night there but
Chris' issue worried him more than anything.
He had no option than to wait at the living room till she
comes.
It was getting late and Mansa had already gone to bed
except Kuu.

Riri arrived after 11pm with the excuse of being stuck up in
a traffic.
Her outfit perfectly fitted her exposing her beautiful curvy
body. She was honestly looking stunning.
For the first time, Kuu saw how curved her body was.
Indeed, it was very difficult for any man to ignore such a
nice body figure.
Kuu showed her the guest room and went back into his
room to sleep.

Around 1:30am, Riri sneaked into Kuu's room. She was in a
silk nightie.
She got closer to Kuu who was fast asleep by then and
kissed him on the lips gently, waking him up.
Kuu got up and saw Riri. Her perfume smelled all over her.
Kuu immediately knew the intention she had. As to whether he would be able to resist that temptation, only time would tell....

Season II - Episode 10

Before he could open his mouth to talk, a whole bunch of
police men started coming out from their hide out. He was
surrounded by the policemen who were all along in ambush.
"Obed, whats the meaning of this? Chris asked.
"The law is just taking its course" Obed said.

Chris was immediately handcuffed right after they had taken the illegal drugs from his possession.
It was now difficult for him to even defend himself, cause
this time around he was caught right in the act.
It will only take a very powerful and influential person in the society to come to his aid. But as it stands now, Chris will be put in jail for a long time after he has been found guilty.

They led him away and placed him behind bars with the
illegal drugs kept as an evidence.

Mrs Amposah had scheduled a meeting with Riri at a
restaurant which was away from their town.
At least, with this location, it was difficult for anyone to find or even trace them.
Riri got there before Mrs Amposah arrived. She was late.
"What took you so long? Riri asked.

The relationship between Riri and Mrs Amposah had
changed over the few months ever since they began
engaging in such unscrupulous deeds.
Riri had virtually lost all the respect she had for Mrs
Amposah.
"Sorry, Kuu was a hard nut to crack" Mrs Amposah said.
"Do you think he knows anything? Riri asked.
"I can't trust him, but i know what to do. " Mrs Amposah
assured her.
"Ermmm, don't you think this is the time you have to tell him about me? he has not noticed me and he just sees me like any member of the church. " Riri asked.
"Not yet, but you know I always keep my promise. Besides i
have a plan. He is my son. I know him so for this reason,
don't worry." Mrs Amposah said.

Apparently, Mrs Amposah had promised Riri that, apart from her being paid for her services, She was going to make sure Kuu marry Riri.
Riri was all along in love with Kuu right from when he
arrived from the states with Chris.
She had tried everything in her power to get noticed but Kuu on the other hand never looked at her direction.

This was actually part of the reasons Riri was helping Mrs
Amposah out with her deeds aside the money she was
earning.
"Mrs Amposah, can i ask you a question? Riri asked
" Sure, go ahead" Mrs Amposah said.
" At least you know why i'm helping you out, you know my
intentions and everything. But i don't understand where
you're coming from, why are you doing all these things? "
Riri asked.
" Young girl, don't forget your boundaries, you do what i ask of you and pay you for that. I don't expect such
questions..... " Mrs Amposah said but was interrupted by a
phone call from an unknown number.
It was from the police, they informed her about the arrest of Chris her son.

She had to postpone all other matters that was pending to
be discussed with Riri and attend to her son Chris.
It was amazing how Mrs Amposah handled this issue. Kuu
was arrested right in front of her however she never took
the risk to visit him. But with Chris, she had to stop
whatever she was doing and go to the police station.
Chris has always been her favorite. She has always treated
him specially than Kuu.

Mansa on the other hand was returning from her mother's place. Her mother had told Mansa not to reveal whatever she knew about herself and her maternal existence to anyone.

Mansa felt complete. For the very first time she was happy.
She was happy that Kuu and Chris are actually her siblings.
What actually got her worried was the fact that Obed was no where to be found. She thought of him and the support Obed had given her. What would have happened if Obed never came in into her life. She would have still remained in darkness.

She then decided to go to where Obed and herself had been staying before her miscarriage.
She found it very difficult to locate the place, but after
several hours of looking, she was successful.

To her surprise, she found a gate man at the place.
"wow, Obed has finally decided to get a gate man" She said
to herself as she approached the house.
Another thing that amazed her was how the gate man
welcomed her too when he saw her, it seems he had known her.

"Madam welcome" Said the gateman.
"Thank you, i'm looking for your boss" Mansa asked.
"Oh Madam, you are my boss, i don't know how to answer
you again oo Madam" said the gate man.
" You are very funny, i'm looking for Obed, the one who lives here" She asked.
The gate looked confused and said.
" Madam, i am the only one that lives here oo, i have lived
here alone for the past three years until you showed up last two weeks" The gate man said.
"How come i didn't see you when i came? She asked.
"Your mother told me you will be coming, i was in my
quarters when you arrived. That's why you didn't see me. I
wanted to introduce myself to you but i later on realized that you had left without me noticing. Forgive me madam, it won't happen again" The gate man said.
" So you mean, you were all along in this house and i never
set my eyes on you? Mansa asked.
"Yes madam, myself was surprised that you stayed indoors all the time" The gate man said.
" Anyway, the man i came here with, he is the one am
looking for" Mansa asked again.
"Madam, you came here with someone? I didn't see any one with you oo" The gateman said.

As much as the issue seemed strange to Mansa, the
gateman was smelling of alcohol, so Mansa didn't take him
serious. She thought he was drunk........

Season II - Episode 9

"Where is Riri? She is the main pivot of this" Mrs Lokko said.
" I don't understand Mum. Riri is an usher at our church and is very committed to her duty," Mansa said.
" You won't understand my daughter. Don't worry, that
moment will come. For now it will be very hard for you to
take it, I'm just happy my daughter has finally returned to
me. Look, let me take you home and show you around" Mrs Lokko said.

They got ready and left the office.

Chris on the other hand had an offer for his drugs to be
bought at GHC 80,000. That was higher than usual.
He was up for it. He agreed to meet the the person to seal
the deal, get his money and eventually pay Asabea off.
Chris then went home from Asabea's place. He was
unaware that Kuu had been released.

As soon as he got home, he had a phone call.

The call was from the police headquarters where Kuu was
arrested.

On Phone:
CID: "Mr Chris, Good day. "
Chris: "Yeah, Good day, how may i help you?"
CID: " I just called to inform you that Kuu was released this
morning."
Chris: " What! How could you do such a thing? Who
authorized that?"
CID: " We found no evidence against him. Besides, the
victim has not testified that or made any formal report."
Chris: "No! no! you can't let such a criminal to be walking
around like that. What about the phone lines that were cut
off, was that not enough?"
CID: " We are going to look into it but until then, he is not our primary suspect. I will let you get the updates of whatever happens but until then, bye."
The CID hangs up on him.

Chris was not happy about the release of Kuu. It was now
obvious that he was the one who made the report. .
"I see you are not happy about my release Chris. So you
actually made the report for me to be arrested," Kuu said
standing at the door leading to his room. Chris all along
didn't notice that he was there and was actually listening to his conversation.

Chris was surprised to see him there. He didn't know how to cover up any more.
"What were you thinking of? You were supposed to meet her and tell her your feelings and not to rape her" Chris said.
"How could you? Upon all that I've done for you? Tell me,
was the handkerchief really from Mansa and who was
behind the phone lines being cut off? As far as I'm
concerned, I never did that. Chris, did you frame me up or
what? Kuu asked.
"You can think of whatever you wanna think. I wonder how
Mansa will feel when she finds out you were the one who
put her into this mess" Chris said and walked out on him.
Kuu found it very hard to believe. How could his own
brother do such a thing looking at what he had done for him in the past.
What he was worried about was how Mansa will take it
when he confesses to her.

Mrs Amposah got out of her room when she heard Chris'
voice. It seemed she was going out, looking at how she had
dressed.
"I thought I heard Chris' voice," Mrs Amposah said.
"He is in his room" Kuu answered with a bitter tone. That
was unusual of him. His mother noticed it.
"What is wrong with you boy?" she asked.
"Nothing" Kuu answered straight forward.
"Why are you giving me such straight forward answers?
Remember I'm still you mother. I demand some respect"
Mrs Amposah said.
Kuu ignored her, he was just mute and kept watching her as she talked.

From his actions, Mrs Amposah knew that Kuu really heard
something from the conversation she had with Riri earlier
on.
"Anyway, I'm going for a meeting. I will see you when i get
back" Mrs Amposah said.
"Should i drive you? Kuu asked since he was the one who
usually does that even though they had a family driver.
"No, you need some rest. The driver will drive me" she said
and left.
Kuu instantly knew that she was up to something. He
however knew what to do.

Mrs Lokko and Mansa had arrived at her house. Mansa was surprised to see that the house was so huge that, you could easily forget the way in trying to locate your room.
The compound was a large area with a lot of cars. Indeed
Mrs Lokko was really a wealthy woman.

From the look on Mansa's face, Mrs Lokko could tell that
she was amazed by what she saw.
"Mansa, welcome to your home. This is my house and as
matter of fact, your house. All i have belongs to you. God
blessed me with all this after i ventured into exportation of
our made in Ghana goods(#Patronize_Naija_TO_Raise_The_Naira.....lolz). Mansa my daughter, i have been
building all these wealth for you to take over some day" Mrs Lokko said
"Mum, I'm just happy to have found you mother. " Mansa
said
"Listen my daughter , no body needs to know who you are
or even of my existence. You will go back and anytime you
need something, just call me" Mrs Lokko said.
"But why mother?" Mansa said
"The more you know, the more i put you into a very big risk.
Trust me, the right time will come" Mrs Lokko said.

Meanwhile Chris was also getting ready to go and do his
drug transaction. He had agreed with the buyer to meet him in the next hour.
He dressed up and without telling anyone, he left the house and went to the meeting point .

He got to the place 10 minutes earlier and met no one. It was an uncompleted building in an isolated place. It was secured enough to transact such an illegal business.
He tried calling the buyer's number but the phone was off.
After some few minutes, he head footsteps approaching
him.
It was the buyer. He turned around and to his amazement it was Obed.

Before he could open his mouth to talk, a whole bunch of
police men started coming out from their hide out. He was
surrounded by the policemen who were all along in ambush...

Season II - Episode 8

Kuu had been listening to their conversation all along.
His mother wanted to change the subject but Kuu pushed
them to the wall.
"Kuu, you can't believe what, Riri and i were just wondering
who could be behind the food poisoning" Mrs Amposah lied.

Kuu was so sure of what he heard. Indeed he knew his mom was lying about it.
"Anyway, i will be in my room" Kuu said and left them.
Mrs Amposah and Riri didn't trust Kuu on that. At least they needed to be sure that he does not suspect anything.
"Do you think he heard everything? Riri asked.
"I can't be too sure sure about that" answered Mrs
Amposah
"But you should have made us meet somewhere than your
house, now look at what is happening" Riri said blaming
her.
"I thought he was not at home, but don't worry, leave it to
me, he is my son, i know how to deal with him" Mrs
Amposah assured her.
"You better do" Riri said.
"That reminds me, we need to be very careful about that
Obed guy, he is watching us from a distance " Mrs Amposah said.
"who is he, he is really weird, i have never felt comfortable
around him" Riri said.
"I will try and find out where he lives when Mansa comes"
Mrs Amposah said.

It was during this time that a knock came from the door, it
was one of the church's elders.
They had to reschedule their meeting to a later date. Riri
then departed leaving Mrs Amposah and the church elder.
Mrs Amposah was not pleased about the Elder's visit.

She knew that, the elder will only pay her visit if it has to do
with the church's money.
She nicely welcomed him, and asked of his mission as is
done in Ghanaian custom.

"Well my mission is simple, yet needs to be addressed. Over some few months, we have noticed that, there has been huge withdrawals from the church's account.
Per our records, those withdrawals were made by you
without any concern of the financial secretary. Mrs
Amposah, we need to talk about this issue before it comes
to the notice of the board." Said the Elder.
"Elder, so this is why you came here. Anyway its good that
you've prompted me though. You see, before my husband
died, may his soul rest in peace, there was this church
project he was building that he kept away from you. He
wanted to use it to surprise the congregation at the forth
coming 40th anniversary. And as a wife, i need to continue
what he couldn't finish. Those withdrawals were made to
support that project Elder" Mrs Amposah explained herself
"But madam, such things should be done at your own
expense, as far as i'm concerned the church has finished
undertaking all its developmental projects" The Elder said.
"Elder, i just told you that its a surprise thing, at the right
time you will know what i'm talking about, would you please excuse me" Mrs Amposah said and went into her room.

After a while she came back wih a white envelope containing money.
"Elder, i really appreciate your efforts and concern about this issue. Not all men can act in such a manner, kindly take this as a token from me" Mrs Amposah said stretching out the money to him.
"Mrs. Amposah i'm afraid i can't take this, the board needs
to come in on this" The Elder said this.
"Of course the board will know, who said anything about
keeping it a secret, this is just not the right time to involve
them. You can't reject GHC 1000 from me that way. Just
use for your transportation and up keep. I'm very much
aware you need it " said Mrs Amposah.

The Elder took the money and said
" thank you. I will see what i can do to keep this away from
the board for now, i must take my leave. "
He said and went away. Mrs Amposah knew she had
succeeded in shutting him up.

Mansa and Mrs Lokko were still catching up with the old
time.
Mansa was in complete shock when she got to know that
Mr. Amposah was actually her biological father.
"But Mum, why didn't he tell me all these, when he adopted me" Mansa asked.
"You still don't get it my daughter, he was protecting you
from his wife, Mansa. You really don't know what she is
capable of" Mrs Lokko said.
"I can't believe this, its like a dream, you're actually my
mother and i have been under my Father's care all this while without knowing" Mansa said. She couldn't control the tears in her eyes. She was now beginning to accept the reality.
"Mansa, i thought, Obed will be with you, Where is he? Mrs
Lokko asked.
" I thought i will be meeting him here myself" Mansa said.
"Obed hmmm, he really made a lot of revelation to me,
Mansa there is more to your father's death than you already know " Said Mrs Lokko.
"What is it that i don't know mother, tell Me" Mansa
desperately asked.
"Where is Riri? She is the main pivot of this" Mrs Lokko said......

"Mansa"

Season II - Episode 7

"Oh my God, you have finally brought my daughter to me"
the woman said embracing Mansa so tight with tears in her eyes.

Mansa had no idea of what was going on.
"Mansa, look how you've grown so big and beautiful. I have always been longing for this day" the lady said.
Mansa looked totally confused and out of place.
"Madam, I don't understand what you're saying," Mansa said.
"I know my daughter, I know it will be hard for you to take it.

Sit down Mansa and let's talk," the woman said and they both sat down.
"Mansa, you are not an orphan. I'm your biological mother.
My name is Mrs Mabel Lokko and I'm the CEO of Lokko farms Ltd," said Mrs Lokko
"I can't believe this. I was told back at the orphanage home that you died during my delivery," Mansa said.
"Yeah i know. That was the only way to keep me away from your forster mother.

Your father took me far away from the
village to a place where no one knew me. He promised to come back and be with me but he never showed up again.
He took you away from me because he wanted to be close to you and besides, you were the only child he had by then
so he cherished you so much. I didn't like how he went about things but i didn't have the ability to trace him or you
until Obed showed up", Mrs Lokko revealed.

Mansa still looked confused with a lot questions running through her mind. It was difficult for her to pick up the
pieces and join them together .
"Where is my father now? And how is my foster mother connected to my father?" Mansa asked.
" Your father is late and Mrs Amposah who happens to be
your foster mother is actually your step mother " She revealed.
"Are you saying that Mr Amposah the pastor is actually my father? "Mansa asked.
"Yeah, he is" Said Mrs Lokko

Meanwhile Chris was still pleading with Asabea. He told her to ask anything that she wanted and he will in return grant it
for her.
Asabea knew that this was a good opportunity for her. The moment she had been waiting for.

"How about you marrying me in the next 3 weeks?" Asabea said.
Marriage? That was the last thing Chris ever thought of. He was not ready to settle down with Asabea or anything. As a matter of fact, he had never seen himself as a committed type. Marriage was just a no go area for him. It was just
impossible.
"Come on Asabea, you know we both are not ready for this," Chris said.
" You are not ready, not me," Asabea retorted.
"Marriage is a life choice decision, please reconsider, please" Chris pleaded.
" Look, I'm not in the mood for reconsideration. I thought you said I should ask for anything i wanted" Asabea said, reminding Chris of what he had told her earlier.
"I know, but Marriage is out of the picture for now Asabea" Chris said.

Its seems he was not ready to grant that offer for Asabea.
She noticed it and remained silent for a while as Chris kept pleading with her.
She finally arrived at something.
"ok, good, seems you are not responsible as i thought but I have another request and I'm not going to change my mind
on that" She said.

" What is it? tell me" Chris asked
" I need you to deposit GHC 50,000 into my account by the
end of this week. Nothing more, nothing less. That's the only thing you can compensate me with and pay me off for good," Asabea said.

That amount was quite huge for Chris but he had no choice
than to raise that amount for Asabea.
The only way he could think of was to go back to his old ways that got him arrested at the states, thus selling and
buying of drugs. The same job that got him arrested until Kuu and his father came to his aid.

He quickly made a phone call to one of his gangs to get the drug for him to sell.

Mrs Amposah needed to update Riri on Mansa being discharged.
She needed a next plan of action to take against Mansa. Mrs Amposah then called Riri to come over to her house so they
could talk about it.

Kuu on the other hand was wondering how he was going to confess to Mansa when she comes back. He was walking
on the compound of the house when he saw Riri entering.

Riri didn't see him. She just went straight to the door leading to the living room and entered.
Mrs Amposah quickly started discussing things out with her.

Mrs Amposah : "Look, I'm really sorry about what happened earlier. I was frustrated. I promise I'm going to give you half of the money this evening"
Riri: "thats ok by me".
Mrs Amposah: " But hey, you are so unpredictable. How come you didn't tell me you had it in mind to poison Mansa."
Riri: " what are you talking about? I haven't done anything like that."
Mrs Amposah:" are you sure?
Riri: " Yeah, that will be too extreme "
Mrs Amposah: "Then i guess we are not her only enemies. I really don't know, it seems our plans failed. Mansa is well
and fit again and even walking upon all the injections you gave her. We need to figure out our next plan of action. "
"Mum! What? You? How could you? Oh my God! I can't believe my ears. "

Mrs Amposah panicked as she heard that voice, it came from the back door. She turned around only to find Kuu
starring at them.
Kuu had been listening to their conversation all along.....

Mansa

Season II - Episode 6

"what? this can't be. The Doctor said with amazement.
"Doc, I'm feeling very well. It's as if nothing had happened to me" Mansa said

Kuu jumped into her and hugged her so tight.
"Aww Kuu, I miss you so much" Mansa said.
"Mansa, please forgive me, forgive me please" Kuu kept on saying.
"What are you saying Kuu? What have you done that you need forgiveness" Mansa asked.

Mrs Amposah just stood there. She was completely lost of words. It was like a dream to her.
"Doc, kindly run some test on her to be sure she's really alright. Who knows? "Mrs Amposah said.
"She looks fine to me but i will surely do that. Its amazing.

Her spinal cord was totally damaged. This is really a miracle. Mansa kindly follow me, I need to run some test on
you" the doctor said and went into the ward with her.

Mrs Amposah was left with Kuu at the OPD. She was still speechless, completely speechless.
Kuu noticed that his mum was not in a happy mood.
" Mum, you seem not be happy about Mansa's condition? Kuu asked her.
" Look, there are a lot of things on my mind now so don't start. In fact, don't!" Mrs Amposah said.
"Oh yeah, i see that Mum. A lot of things on your mind that you even forgot to visit your own son when he was arrested", Kuu told her.
"How dare you talk to me like that? I thought i told you that I was getting ready to come there" Mrs Amposah said angrily.

Meanwhile Chris was on his way to see Asabea. He knew that if he didn't do something about it, she will end up doing
something worse that he may probably not be able to handle.
He got to her place, knocked the door severally until she finally opened.

She was very surprised to see him there.
"So you finally decided to show up" said Asabea.
"Can you please let me enter so we talk" Chris pleaded with her.
"I see. I never knew you could be this sober. You may come in" Asabea said and left him behind the door.

Chris followed up to her room and sat on the nearest sofa he could find.
It was his plan to manipulate Asabea into siding with him, then eventually he will pay her off.
" Yes, what brings you here? I don't have much time on my side" Asabea said.

Chris stood up from his chair and went straight to where she was sitting and knelt down before her.
Asabea had never seen that side of Chris before. Somehow his actions touched her but she was determined to remain difficult.

Anytime she thinks of what Chris had done to her, she gets filled up with hatred and anger.

"Asabea, I'm really sorry about what ever is going on. I know what i have done to your health and life but give me the chance to take care of you" Chris begged her.
" Its amazing how Chris will beg for my forgiveness. I suppose you are doing this because of Mansa's condition" Asabea said.
"What has Mansa got to do with this? Chris asked.

From the way Asabea spoke, it was obvious that she had something to do with that food poisoning. Chris however
didn't know but knew that she was up to something.
"Oh so that girl still survived. How interesting? I see" Asabea said.
"Survived what? What are you talking about? Chris asked with anxiety.
"Anyway, how then do you intend to care for me when you can't erase that deadly sickness you have given me" Asabea
said.
"Just ask for anything and it will be granted. Just ask me. " Chris proposed.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Kuu was with his mother waiting on the doctor.
Mrs Amposah had a phone call so excused herself from where Kuu was sitting.

On Phone.....
Caller: "Mrs Amposah, i have been waiting for you for so long and up till now, you are still not here."
Mrs. Amposah: "I'm at the hospital. look, it seems Mansa is back on her feet. She was looking very healthy when i got
here"
Caller: "Are you sure about this?"
Mrs Amposah: " You can come and see for yourself."
Caller: "Mrs Amposah, that does not change anything. You still need to pay me for what i did."
Mrs Amposah: "Look girl, as far as I'm concerned, things are not going as planned. You need to hold on with the
payment."
Caller: " No no, that was not the agreement. I need my
money now or i will blow you out."
Mrs Amposah got very angry with the statement from the caller.
Mrs Amposah: " Are you threatening me? You must be out of your mind. Don't forget your place."
Caller: "Mrs Amposah, I'm not joking. You can call it a threat or whatever, i need my money within the next 48hours."
The caller said and hanged up on Mrs Amposah.
"I can't believe it. Look at this one too, threatening me." Mrs Amposah said and went back into the hospital.

Fortunately, as soon as she got to the OPD, the doctor was coming back from the ward with Mansa.
Mansa's face was covered with smiles as she was coming back with the doctor.

"Mrs Amposah, this is really a miracle. Nothing seems to be wrong with Mansa now apart from the miscarriage she had.
However, I can't confirm as some of the result are not yet in" the doctor said.
"Doc, so can i please go home now" Mansa asked.
"No, you must stay till all least the results are in" Mrs Amposah said.
"Well honestly, i don't think there will be a problem with that.
I don't know why i should keep her. She is fine and free to go home" the doctor declared and left them to his office.

Mrs Amposah was so not happy about it.
"Where is Obed? Mansa asked.
"I'm looking for him as well. Ever since he came to the police station to see to my bail, I have not set my eyes on
him" Kuu said.
" Are you saying Obed was behind your release?" Mrs Amposah asked.
"What's going on here? Kuu, were you arrested? Mansa asked.
"Don't worry, there is a lot to talk about when we get home" Kuu said.
"Alright, if you say so but i think i know where to find him.
He gave me an address this morning. I think he might be there, you guys should take the lead, I will be back with him to the house" Mansa said
"Fair enough, Kuu lets get going" Mrs Amposah said and left with Kuu to their house.

Mansa boarded a cab and gave the address to the cab
driver since she didn't really know the place.
Soon she arrived at the place. It was a huge building made up of various offices.

Mansa thought she was at the wrong place but the only way she could find out was to rectify if the address was indeed
were she was currently.

She entered the building which seem to be a very busy place
with all caliber of people walking up and down dressed in cooperate out fit.
She went straight to the front desk, gave the address to the
the lady at the front desk. The lady looked at the card and
made a phone call.

Receptionist: "Hello, someone is here to you see you"
Unknown person: "Who is that?
The receptionist asked of Mansa's name and she answered accordingly
Receptionist: "she is Mansa "
Unknown: "Let her come in."
The receptionist hanged up and directed Mansa to the office.

All along she taught she was going to meet Obed. When she got to the office, she knocked and entered.
To her surprise, it was an elderly yet elegant worthy woman who was busily working on some documents.

"Good day madam" Mansa greeted.
"Yes, how may I help you? " the woman asked.
"My name is Mansa, I'm actually after Obed. He gave me this address to come here," Mansa said.

The woman immediately stopped what she was doing and looked at Mansa's face carefully.
"Excuse me, what did you say your name is? she asked again
"Mansa, Madam" Mansa answered.
"...and Obed gave you my address" she asked.
"Yes Madam," Mansa said.

The woman quickly stood up from her chair, went straight toMansa and embraced her with tears in her eyes.
"Oh my God, you have finally brought my daughter to me,"
The Woman said embracing Mansa so tight with tears in her
eyes.....

"Mansa"

Season II - Episode 5

"Its rather unfortunate, we tried all that we could, but Mansa can't be able to walk again, it will take a miracle to make her walk" The Doctor said.
"Oh no my daughter, God will surely answer my prayers"
Mrs Amposah said.
"He will indeed answer, Mansa will walk again. Doc can we
see her now? Obed asked.
"Now about that, did any of you serve Mansa with breakfast today?" The Doctor asked.

Obed and Mrs Amposah looked surprised with that question.
"Am afraid no, what is it" Mrs Amposah asked.
"Can i see you in my office Mrs Amposah" The Doctor
asked.
"Yeah sure" Answered Mrs Amposah.

She then followed the Doctor to the office. From the
question the Doctor gave, Obed knew that it has to do with
food poisoning.
He wanted to see Mansa at all cost. Since he knew her
ward, without the notice of anyone, he slowly entered the
ward of Mansa.

There she was, lying in her bed, looking up to the ceiling.
She was lost in thought.
She knew she has been poisoned and that got her thinking.
Who could have done such a thing to her? What wrong has
she done to anyone to be treated like this? And who really
sent that young Abena girl who claimed that she was sent by Mrs Amposah.

This were the only few questions among many which run
through her mind as she laid in her sick bed.
She had no idea that she couldn't walk.
When Obed walked in, she didn't even notice because, she
was so lost in thought.
Even though she couldn't feel her legs move, amazingly she felt a cold touch on her toes.

That distracted her from her thoughts, she quickly checked
to see who it was. It was Obed.
She smiled as she saw him. Her smile was so beautiful that
it also got Obed smiling.
He came closer to her, looked into her eyes.
Mansa called out his name softly " Obed"
Obed however, placed his finger on her lips, shushing her.
He slowly bend his head down and kissed her fore head.
"Mansa, you are well" Obed said.
"I know My God will heal me Obed" Mansa said.
" Don't talk my dear, just pray and thank God." Obed said.

He took out a complementary card from his pocket and
gave it Mansa.
"As soon as you get out of here, go to this address" Obed
said.
"For what Obed, why are you acting strange" Mansa said.

She was worried about the attitude of Obed. He was acting
really strange and to some extent it scared Mansa.
"I will be right back, let me check on something will be back
then we can talk" Obed said with a smiling face.
"where are you going to Obed? Mansa asked.
" Don't worry, i will be back. Close that beautiful eyes of
yours and pray my dear" Obed said this and walked out of
the ward.

Kuu was at the police station, still praying and asking God
for forgiveness. He felt alone and sad.
He thought he had been rejected by his family. Ever since he was arrested. Apart from Obed and his mother's lawyer, no one had come to visit him, not even Chris or his own mother.

He felt neglected for his actions. Even though he had not
been convicted yet, already he felt he has been isolated.
His only comfort was in prayer. As much as he always
prayed to God for forgiveness, he felt inspired and
strengthened after each prayer.
During that morning, one of the policemen came and called him out. To his surprise, the policeman told him that he was a free man.

He couldn't believe his ears. That was impossible, who
could be behind this, he dressed up in the shirt he wore
when he got arrested. As he walked to the counter he saw
Obed there waiting for him.
"Obed, how did you do it?" Kuu asked.
Obed smiled at him and said,
"Just get yourself ready, i will be waiting for you outside"
Obed said and went out.
Kuu was given some papers to sign and as soon as he was
done, he went out to meet Obed.

He got out and Obed was no where to be found, he looked
around everywhere but couldn't find him anywhere.
"where could he be? Kuu asked himself.
He waited for awhile to see if he will show up but he didn't.
He had no option than to go. The first thing that came to his mind was to go and see Mansa at the hospital. He quickly left the police station.

Back at the Doctor's office, the Doctor had a lengthy
discussion concerning the food poisoning of Mansa that
almost made her lost her life.
He advised that apart from Mrs Amposah and any other
person who she will recommend, no one will have the
privilege to visit Mansa until she is finally discharged for
precautionary measures.

Mrs Amposah agreed to what the doctor had said and
recommended only Riri and Chris. Apart from them, no one will be allowed to see Mansa.
Right after their discussion Mrs Amposah asked if she could see Mansa briefly.

The Doctor gave her the go ahead and together they came
out of the office.
"Mum" Kuu called her from behind as soon as they got out
of the office. He had arrived at the hospital.
His mother was so surprised to see him.
"Kuu, I was about to come and see you" Mrs Amposah
said.
Kuu shock his head and said
"Am here now, how is Mansa? Kuu asked.
" We are about going to see her, meet the Doctor. he is the
one taking care of Mansa, Doc this my son Kuu"

They shake hands but was interrupted when someone
called Kuu from the back.
It came from Mansa's ward. They turned and to their
surprise, there stood Mansa on her two legs standing in
front of the ward.
She looked healthy and was able to walk.
"what, this can't be? The Doctor said with amazement......

Mansa"

Season II - Episode 4

Before she could think of finishing the whole meal, her
tummy began grumbling. She was in severe pain. She
shouted for help that got attention of the nurses. A white
foamy substance was coming out of her mouth which
seemed Mansa had been poisoned.

Her condition looked critical while the pupil of her eyes were disappearing. Her life was in God's hand now.
The Doctor came in after being prompted about Mansa's
condition.
Obed's instinct told him that something was wrong with
Mansa. In no time he came to the hospital but was
prevented from seeing Mansa until the Doctor had finished attending to her.

Obed sat down at the OPD and silently prayed. He knew
there was something wrong with Mansa.
Chris came to the hospital to find Obed sitting there. He
joined him and asked how Mansa was faring.
"I really don't know but I learnt the doctor is attending to her at the moment. Where is your mother ?" Obed asked.
"Off to see Kuu", he answered.

Obed felt this was the right moment to find from Chris if he really reported his brother to the police so He came up with a trick.
"Chris, how could your brother do such a thing to Mansa?"
Obed said.
"I really don't know what came over him. I always do my
best as a brother to advise him but i just don't know why he went to that extreme," Chris said.
"Such is life. Whoever reported the issue to the police reallydid well. Mansa will be so happy to hear her rapist has been caught" Obed said.

As childish as Chris was, he revealed that he was the one
who reported the case.
"Actually, i did. I can't afford to see Mansa go through that
pains at the expense of my brother's freedom. Justice
cannot be tampered with mercy", said Chris.
"So you actually placed your brother behind bars, I see.
When he actually stood up and defended you when you got involved in drug issues back in the states. He pleaded with your late dad to come to your aid even when your father didn't want to. I must say, your freedom today is practically by Kuu's effort, yet this is how you repay him" Obed said
Chris was frightened by the words of Obed.
"I see, Kuu has been talking to you a lot" Chris told Obed.
"Not at all, but Chris, I know everything that's going on"
Obed said.

This frightened him the more as he kept talking.
Chris excused himself. He couldn't take it anymore.
He walked out and left his presence. As soon as he stepped out of the hospital, he had a call from Asabea.
"I told you not call me anymore," Chris said as soon as he
answered.
" ...and do you think i want to? I'm going to make sure you
really suffer for what you have caused me, I have already
struck and am sure you are going to hear a bad news soon.
This is not the end, you will crawl and beg for my mercy",Asabea threatened him.

As much as he was scared and worried about her threats, he didn't make it obvious for her to see.
"You can't do anything to me Asabea, I have you at my
fingertips. You obey and listen to me. You belong to me and i choose to do whatever I want with you", Chris told her.
She laughed and said, "we shall see" and she hanged up on
him.

Chris needed to be vigilant and alert for what Asabea may
be planning to do.

Mrs Amposah had returned to the hospital and was together with Obed waiting for the doctor.
Due to the confrontation from Obed, she hardly spoke a
word to him.
She watched him head to toe from where she was sitting
with anger and fear at the same time.

Finally, the Doctor came out. He was actually looking down
and worked up. It seemed something had gone wrong.
Obed rushed to him as the Doctor approached Mrs
Amposah.
"Doctor any good news?" Asked Mrs Amposah. The doctor responded,
"It's rather.........

Season II - Episode 3

Mrs Amposah pleaded but they ignored her completely and took Kuu away.
Mrs Amposah got furious again. She made claims that
Mansa was framing up against her son Kuu.

She didn't care the fact that Obed was there, she kept on
accusing her.
Obed had enough of what Mrs Amposah was doing. She
was exaggerating too much.
Obed then decided to put her on her toes since he now
stood face to face with her and Riri.

"Mrs Amposah, you always amaze me when you talk like
that, perhaps since Riri is here, i guess this is the time for
you to explain to the church money you have been paying
into her account" Obed said.
Their faces changed right away but they were saved by the
bell.

The doctor came and interrupted their conversation.
"Mrs. Amposah" The Doctor called.
"Yes Doc, how is she? She asked.
"unfortunately it was quite unpredictable, we didn't see it
coming, but we will do the best that we can" The Doctor
said.
" Doctor, i don't understand you, what are u really saying"
Obed interrupted and asked.
"Somehow, Mansa's have a spinal cord problem which has
affected her movement. We are still monitoring her
situation, to see what we can do" The Doctor said.
"Doc, can i see her now, please? Obed asked.
"Am afraid no, but you can come around tomorrow morning, am sure it will have been better by then" The Doctor said and left them.

Obed was so hurt upon hearing Mansa's condition. Mrs.
Amposah and Riri appeared to be concerned but Obed made it obvious that he does not trust them.

"Are you happy now, you two did a very good job, but
always remember that there is no place for darkness where light prevails" Obed said and walked out on them.

Mrs Amposah and Riri began to fear him, they planned on
digging into his personal stuff, background and where he
really comes from.
"Riri, i think you should follow him and get to know where he resides, he is on foot so you can catch up with him, hurry and follow him, i will meet you up at my house. " Mrs
Amposah instructed Riri.

Riri did as she had said but to her surprise, Obed was no
where to be found. She asked some of her nurse colleagues but they said they haven't seen him pass by.
That was strange, because Obed just left their presence less than 3 minutes ago, how is it possible that there was no trace of him.

Both Mrs Amposah and Riri left to their separate houses.
Mrs Amposah called Chris to work out on the case of Kuu
with their personal lawyer.
Obed on the other hand went to the station that evening to check on Kuu. It was past visiting hours but somehow the authorities gave him the chance to see him.

From the look on Kuu's face you could tell that he had been crying thoroughly.

As soon as Kuu saw Obed, he was surprised to see him
come alone. If anything at all, it should have been his
mother. However he was just concerned about how Mansa was faring.
That was the first question he asked.
"Obed, thanks for coming, how is Mansa doing? Kuu asked.
"She is going to be fine, her situation is quite complicated,
but trust my words, she is going to be fine, we just have to
keep praying hard" Obed advised and assured him.
"Hmm, its all my fault, its all my fault. I don't think i'm
worthy to come before the Lord, even to ask for
forgiveness" Kuu said.
"Kuu, i know you have regretted your mistakes, just pray to
God and ask for forgiveness. I think you should rather worry about the one who reported the case to the police" said Obed.
" I really don't know, i don't know the people who Chris may have told this to, i don't trust him so much when it comes to keeping secrets" Kuu said.
" what if he was the one? " asked Obed
" Oh, that won't be possible, i can bet my life on it. My
brother can never do such a thing" Kuu said.
"You think so? Be very careful, anyway, i will do my best to
get you out of here in no time, all you need to do is to pray,
and i'm certain everything will be ok" Obed assured him and left the station.

Kuu was however strengthened by the words of Obed. He
spent time praying and asking God for forgiveness.
Early next Morning, a young lady arrived at the hospital
before visiting hours.
She was made to see Mansa since she was bringing her
breakfast.
Mansa was awake when she came. She had never set her
eyes on the lady before.
"Good morning Mansa, my name is Abena, your mum asked
me to bring you your breakfast" she said.
"How do you know my mum? Mansa asked.
"Am in the same church with you, you really don't know me
but i'm a very good friend to Kuu and Chris" she said.
Mansa was very easy to convince. The lady left the food
there and went.

Mansa took the basket containing the food, opened it and
began eating, forgetting to even pray.
Before she could think of finishing the whole meal, her
tummy began grumbling. She was in severe pain. She
shouted for help that got the attention of the nurses. Before they knew it, a white foamy substance was coming out of her mouth. Its seems Mansa has been poisoned......

Can she make it this time, only time will tell.....

"Mansa"

Season II - Episode 2

"Is not what you think, Kuu, Mansa is not your foster sister
as you think. She is actually your step sister" Obed revealed.
Kuu was shocked by the news from Obed.

"You can't be serious Obed, what are you saying? Kuu
asked.
"You heard me, a lady was betrothed to your father before
she actually met your mother. Your father impregnated that lady but she disappeared when she heard your father was going to get married to your mother", Obed said.
"....but how sure are you that that child is the same girl I'm
in love with. It can't be Mansa " Kuu asked.
" Your father was secretly seeing her until she gave birth to
Mansa. She died during delivery but because your father
couldn't bring the baby to his home, he personally took
the baby to the orphanage home and entrusted her into their care with the hope of later adopting her."

"Oh no! This is unbelievable! What have I done to myself?
So Mansa is actually my sister" Kuu said.
"Yeah she is. As a matter of fact, she is your elderly sister"
Obed confirmed.
"Does she know about this? Kuu asked.
"No Kuu, and that's going to be our little secret until
probably you make amends of your mistakes and ask God
forgiveness" Obed said.

Kuu couldn't believe his ears. Mansa was actually his sister.
The girl she had raped and impregnated.
" What an abomination! Will God even forgive me of my
sins?" Kuu asked.
"Kuu, only if you openly admit it and ask for forgiveness, He is a merciful God so He will forgive you" Obed said.

"But how do you know all these things? You are a stranger,
how do you know?" Kuu asked.
" You ask so many questions. Lets get back to the OPD. At
the right time, you will know" Obed said and headed straight to the OPD.
Kuu followed him closely as they went.

Mrs Amposah and Riri were watching Mansa as she slept at her ward, when Kuu and Obed got there.

Mansa while asleep, had a weird dream.
In her dream, she was walking down the isle with Obed to
the alter to get married. Unfortunately, no one was at the
church, not even a pastor to preside over the wedding.

Before Obed could say his vows, an elderly woman whom
Mansa could not recognize came with a broom and swept
around where Mansa and Obed stood.
Mansa tried stopping her but she was pushed down by the
lady.
Mansa fell heavily on one side and she couldn't move her
left arm and feet.

This woke Mansa up from the sleep. There she saw Obed,
Kuu, Mrs Amposah and Riri.
Obed rushed to her side, held her by the hand and asked
how she was feeling.
She tried to sit but she couldn't.
Obed realized that something was wrong.

"What is it Mansa? Obed asked.
"My legs, i can't feel them, i can't feel my legs, Obed" Mansa cried out.

Riri quickly rushed and called the doctor to Mansa's aid.
They were all asked to wait outside the ward while the
Doctor went about his work.

Mrs Amposah acted awkwardly. she was putting the blame
on Obed for Mansa's misfortune.
"You are the cause of this, Obed or whatever you call
yourself. What have you done to my child? You should have
listened to me. If you had married her, all this wouldn't have happened. God is punishing both of you for that", Mrs Amposah said.
"Mum, you can't be saying such things in times of this" Kuu
said.

Before Kuu could finish talking, three men came towards
them.
They were unknown people.
"Are you Mrs Amposah? One of them asked.
"Yes, how may I help you? Mrs asked.
"We are after your son, Kuu", he said.
"I'm the one, who are you? Kuu asked.
"I'm Inspector Nii from the regional police headquarters. You are under arrest for allegedly assaulting and raping Mansa" said Inspector Nii.

Kuu was immediately handcuffed and led away by the
policemen.
Mrs Amposah pleaded but they ignored her completely......
