And do u tink u can slip with all d lecturer in orda 2 av a gud gradeWho told u dey nid to sleep wiv lecturers to have good grades? It's obvious u r either a jambito or prolly a sophomore. See runs can be anything from using mercenaries in class tests, assignments, sending a senior lecturer/staff to anoda lecturer, paying ur governor to solicit for grades for u, bribing lecturers, cheating in exams etc. O je jara e (wise up). Some or all of these shits happens virtually everywhere. Some will go thru school wiv sheer hard work and dedication others will runs their way thru it, you'll always have a choice. But thinking Funaab is incorruptible or "unrunzable" is naivety of d highest other. There's no school where dey dnt runs result ryt here in naija, it is a matter of personal principle/conviction, some lecturers will take, some will not, as long the lecturers are human beings, they can be bought. I repeat ANY school in naija! No come here come dey play on our intellect, guys dey para o. However, I do strongly believe that it's VERY difficult to runz ur way to 5.0 if u are nt a brilliant mind. |

sigolisis: 70k will go a long way. Acceptance, school fees, accommodation, faculty and departmental dues, SUG. But remember you also need to stock your room of food items, transportation to and fro within and outside the campus, photocopies of materials, textbooks, laboratory manuals (for scientists), lab coats, etcGod bless you bro! WHEN I eventually get admitted into UI, I owe you a treat. You've been of immense help bro! I think with the quoted fee, I'm more that good to go. May the good Lord bestow the wisdom and knowledge of Solomon on u (together with the riches, minus the womanizing of coz). God bless you! |

I rily wish sum1 sumwhere in or out of d skul cud jst stand 4 d rights of dose brilliant-bt-nt-connectd students. Ok. I got 53.65 as comp, bt i knw dat sum1 who passd more dan me is nt admitted....tho i knw registrar o.. D tin is i had 2 make connectns 4 myself(hw i got 2 knw d registrar) bcoz i was denied admission last 2yrs . I got gud score so i jst stayed ah home hoping dat adm is sure.... Nt saying its nt gud 2 hope, buh u nid assurance(connection) dat ure gonna be admitted. Dis yr, i learnt my lesson... I had 2 connectns sharpaly!(an influential PG student and registrar) also fasting nd praying fervently.. No big boy 4 prayer o. Fact!SUG u say? U don jonz be that, I dnt know about Funaab o, but in most schools, SUG sef dey get their own admission allocation(s). Na naija u dey o, if u are privy to all that goes on in Nigerian Institutions concerning admission, you'll weep. Some schools (usually d top federal schools like UI, Unilag, Ife, Yabatech etc) don't joke with their merit lists (even dat statement is debatable), but after d merit list, any oda list is at d mercy of d powers dat be (man knw man, runs, favour etc). If you can't beat dem, join dem or let dem be. It is not a fair process, but if you are very sure of your own ability to read and pass, UI, Unilag, Ife etc na ur sure bet coz if you exceed d stated cutoff mark you are sure to be admitted. That's my two pennies worth of advise to all. As for me if UI bounced me back, I'll happily go back to my Yabatech for my HND, I no get tym to waste, I knw hw many years I spent for houx b4. @baye2023 I suggest u do d same, except if u r still relatively young and want to wait anoda year to get into a uni. |

abihenry: myself nd my skul mate obtained dual DE (funaab n U.I) buh we were unable tu register for post DE for U.I buh we were able tu register for funaab cus funaab is d first form obtained, we made d complaint on U.I helpdesk nd we were told d prob is frm jamb n we went jamb office (ibadan),d man we met said deir is no chance for dual registratn(jamb has a software dat shows a particular aspirant dat obtained dual form) dat dey wil cancel one out. Of d 2. Even d man told us as at last year deir is d chance buh a candidate has bleeped up last year, d man said a guy obtained 7 D.E forms nd were given admission for 5 universitySo u carry ur legs go JAMB office to report that u bought TWO forms even after knowing that it is a punishable offence? rotyme: my own thought abt the direct entry list so far, u know when the first list for the jambite was released then no DE list was release due to d FSP n FMP prog n immediately d student ended their prog, DE list dropped.. I saw those admitted on the DE list as those Wu shld have been on the first list(bt awaiting the FSP n FMP student) n looking @ d number of jambite that was admitted on the newly list, i see them as the replacement of the students dat couldn't meet up with d acceptance fee deadline(jst saying oo) bt all d way, let await the update on the skul website...Maybe, maybe not, let's wait 1 Like |

Dgreatestt: I have just confirmed from a professor in d school, DE list has been released.. 7candidates were admitted to 200lv, and only 2pple was given admission via DE(imagine rubbish) to each department, except some oda cases,d oda 5 was tru their program(funaab will never tel u dis officially, but if u hav any1 in d skul, u can confirm it). It has always bin like dis every year.Bro, the Professor no fit help u secure admission ni? You think those students u r competing wiv all have less than 3.36 (Upper Credit I suppose)? has it ever occured to u that you are most likely to have competition from Distinction students? Admission via DE is very very competitive in ALL schools, coz they can only admit limited no of students (less than 20 I presume). Mind u as for the O'level thingy u are going on about, I've just seen sumone wiv a composite of 54 got admitted via DE. I'm sorry to say this, but it seems to me that those who got admitted were highly blessed or that their runz sure die. Kip d hope tho, God can still work sumfin out for us all. Have faith. Oh boy, Funaab don do many people strong thing o, Headyworld wetin dey sup wiv DE Engineering apirants now? I strongly believe that the 2nd list is out cos d response on d skul's portal has changed from, "Only UTME list is out" to "Sorry, you are yet to be offered admission". On a lighter side tho, abi nah those wiv great essays dem dey take ni, seeing as dose wiv ridiculously low composite are being admitted. |
