Career / Re: What To Know About The Nigerian Army Salary Structure by ADEGUNWA01: 8:20pm On Jul 10
The OP is not correct and it very misleading
This is the actual salary of the military present and dont forget wen I mean the military the Army Navy and air force. In the full document the Military and Intelligence agencies(SSS/NIA) salary structure is,the samething. A Director in dss is equal to Brig gen and an Assistant Director General in SSS is equal to a Maj Gen according the National salary, incomes and wages commission 2024.

I understand you. Well the military special forces have better combat weapons though. If it's Intel NIA should be better. It's not about glasses and suits.

Who is talking about suits and glasses here definitely not me, the intelligence job SSS does it better, how many Intel as NIA provided for the country and again Nigeria insecurity problem is more of internal than external. Both DSS and NIA are the same just that jurisdiction differ, salary the same, allowances almost the same

I beg to disagree boss. Although when it comes to sophistication in terms of Guns, intelligence, standard and troops welfare (which is also an important of warfare) I give it to the Secret agent but when you talk bout Artillery for battle to the extent of levelling a whole state, Omo for weytin I see for NAAC army get the capabilities o which any other agencies don't come close.

My oga we are saying the samething but we aren't going though the same way to arrive at our ans.
I agree with u in total sir, that is what I'm trying to say to. Do u know the DSS and the Military uses the same officer or rank structure arranged with level. I don't mean the dss also uses captain, major oooo but the level from level 3 to level 17 is the same as the dss and the military salary structure is the same with the intelligence agencies salary structure(DSS and NIA)

Who told you?? have you visited NAAC before?

I used to think like you until I visited NAAC maybe during their next Civil military relations workshop

Maybe u should visit dss secret armory as well but all the same one can't compare military to intelligence agency but as it stand today the dss has more sophisticated and better weapons than the army no lies about it bro

Of course sir, if u have ur connect who is in the service talk to him he or she will know better as well. My uncle a director said those they are considering first are the family members at least one member of their late officers family died in active service and then others. He told me emphatically for him to gst a slot was very hard but he was promised one slot and he took my CV and my passport which he said he submitted to the SS Headquarters abuja. So I'm waiting for him but as for now no training school of the SSS is training any officers cadets cadre. I have said what I know which I believe is the truth according to my highly respected source.
If u have any other superior source pls follow them up for correct update
Thank you.

I have said my own, sebi some ppl here have one or two connect they are talking to so they should have the correct information. My own source who is a respected snr officer said nothing of such is happening or has happened. He said something is going on secretly but it is not open recruitment so if u have powerful politcal class or a snr officer u might be lucky. As for now disregard anything about recruitment

Very unfortunate a so called prince knows nothing about Akure history but recent emotions for Akure to stand separate. Akure as part of Ekiti confederation shares boundary with Ondo Ekimogun. Why is this so difficult for you to understand? Most of those Ekiti towns in Kwara are not also putting Ekiti behind their names but they still accept themselves being Ekitis.

I believe you know akure more than akure, akure was only part of ekiti division because of administrative purposes that was why the British merged akure with ekiti nothing else, we don't share any thing with ekiti except for the son of the Deji that left akure to become Ogoga of ikere ekiti nothing else. The Deji has always being superior to Ekiti obas obviously u are naive and u know nothing about us oga Ade. I will not share akure historical archives with u cos u don't know nothing and obviously u cant know nothing. Showing wikipedia map shows u are too naive to know wikipedia that any idi*t can update. Come to the Deji's palace we will give u books fact books to read. Go to Ondo, ijesa and Benin they will tell u they only share boundaries with akure from time immemorial not ekiti, akure is gateway for Benin ppl into Ekiti hinterland and ijesa. Wo I can't return myself educating a nobody about our history. Kwara Ekiti accpet themselves as ekiti and they still form demslfs ektit kwara but in akure we have never been akure Ekiti be not even when we were in Ekiti division did any letter address akure as Ekiti it only bears Akure, Ekiti division I hope u can see the coma not like Ado ekiti u join together. The whole of Akure Kingdom is way better than ur Ondo Ekimogun u can Osemawe the second Oba following Deji at the back. When akure tlak ondo listen. Those are the obas representing the each divisions in the old Western region house of chiefs at Ibadan the 12 most snr obas u can see the Deji is representing akure division not ekiti, Ewi of Ado is representing Ekiti division so pls open ur eyes and stop forcing ur stupid history on akure ppl we aren't ekiti and Ekiti is not akure simple, we are two different sub ethnic groups in yorubaland like ijebu, ijesa, egba, owo,Ondo so as akure is

Your problem is you copy and paste anything you see. Like I mentioned elsewhere before, I grew up in a house with a rich library. Books and journal articles were written in my presence. For you anything written is impressive.

Not me who saw history being written and can discern.

You will probably learn that with time. Experience is the best teacher.

Well, Muslim scholars wrote your history and gave you Yoruba/Yoruba name. My part of SW is Ado-Akure.

Not Islamic baptismal name. To tell them Alakubar to correct your history. grin

Wow you are Ado-Akure. I'm a prince of akure
Politics / Re: Yoruba Subgroups And Where They Are by ADEGUNWA01: 10:47pm On Jul 22, 2023

Before the Ekiti Parapo, there had been Ekiti confederal states and Pelupelu which Akure was part of, so also towns in Oke Ẹrọ and Ekiti LGAs in Kwara state (also some towns in Akoko like Irun, Ogbagi, though debatable). Ijesa was never part of this, although they are the closest group to Ekitis and they both faced the same existencial conflicts with Ibadan which gave rise to the uprising against the later referred to as Kiriji war.

We only have 5 stocks in Central Yoruba: Ife, Ekiti, Ìjèsà, Igbomina and Yagba. Can we now say Akure is with South Eastern Yoruba of Owo, Ijebu, Ilaje, Ikale, Akoko, Ondo, etc or with North Western Yoruba of Oyo, Ibolo, Owe, Egba, etc?
Among the Yorubas, the thin line that separates Ibolo from Oyo speaking group is same that separates Ìjèsà from Ekiti; they're very very close in everything. Akure have never had different identify until recently because it's the capital city of Ondo state. Go and study the culture, tradition, songs and history of a place like Igbara-Oke, Ilaramoki, Ijede, Iju, etc in Ondo state and compare with places like Igbara-odo, Ogotun, Ikere, Ise, etc in Ekiti.

It's also pathetic to see people saying Otun-Ekiti people are Igbomina (when you still have several Ekiti towns in Kwara after Otun) or Okemesi-Ekiti people are Ìjèsà. Ekiti is the only homogeneous state in the South if not in the entire Nigeria; the same stock of Yoruba people. They are only influenced in the boundary areas by Ijesa, Igbomina, Okun, Akoko, Owo and Ondo dialects of same Yoruba they belong to. The most important thing is Ekiti people understand themselves regardless the version one used unlike some parts of Akoko.

You don't know akure history Mr man obviously u Re only saying things u read online but not akure history and all those lies written by ekiti writer all in the name of they are jealous of akure cos they want akure to still be part of them after the rubbish mistake the british made by merging akure with ekiti

Any difference in dialect among these towns, Iju, Emure, Akure, Ijare, Igbara-oke, Igbara-odo, Ilara-moki, Ikere dialect? Same dialect but in two states. Akure North, South, Ifedore are Ekitis culturally but not in a political entity. Deji of Akure used to be part of Ekiti Pelupelu Obas.

Pls mention the times the Deji attended the pelupelu meeting the Deji then Oba Adesida1 only attend ekiti oba meeting once or twice and he complain to the british resident in akure than that he is not Ekiti and can't attend meeting of ppl he is not part of historically and the R.C and District officer that time begged him to attend until akure was removed from Ekiti in 1946. The Deji never attend any yoruba obas meeting in 1937 as ekiti Oba NO he was addressed as Deji of akure no Ekiti so why will u say akure is ekiti what nonsense is that even the ewi of Ado will not say such rubbish. Wen oore of Otun Otun Ekiti was merged with ilorin Emirate does that make him ilorin because the British merged Otun with ilorin NO so akure is not ekiti. Go read the first book written in yoruba by Pa Atandare about akure 1930s , he said akure kin se Ekiti ra ati ra

BTW, Akure dialects is Ekiti I think, then I think Ekiti should be be written as (Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo states)

Mr Man akure is not ekiti Kingdom pls, just like that ijesa man is trying to force akure to be part of his ijesa which is not possible
Owa obokun will not even say akure is ijesa, the whole of akure as of today is bigger than the whole of ijesa land so if we want to have a so called state with ijesa due to land akure should embrace ijesa.

Akure was never part of ur Ekiti go and read the first historical book about akure written in yoruba by Pa Atandare a man born around 1890s said akure kin se ekiti ra ati ra. The British only merged akure with ekiti because of administrative convenience not more nothing less and in 1946 wen akure separate from the British they realized it was an error to merged akure with ekiti, I know this because I'm a prince and I grow up in the Deji's palace so I have those documents in the palace archive. Akure is Akure not Ekiti abeg. The present akure is the second biggest or largest after Ibadan.
