Go for the one u prefer but for me I will go for the civil defence it has better potential

If you join the army as scc than you be 2lt one star lieutenant , the pay is around 315k including other allowance and they give you about 10million and each child gets a certain amount for school fees, after some years you get another allowance to get your own house you also get duty tour allowance when you go out of station among others, but you MIGHT not get to the top of the chain. And like someone said, you have to like the job first.

EFCC doesn't earn more than Customs. These guys are under the paramilitary. The salary difference isn't much for all paramilitary (at most 20-25k difference). The real deal are the bonuses. EFCC gets the best bonuses as long as Paramilitary is concerned. Reason why most police officers lobby to get posted there because there are police officers working with EFCC.

As at 2019, EFCC GL8 (Officer cadet) was on 160k basic salary but I am 100% certain it's far more than that now

Speak for your culture if you are not knowledgeable about more popular kings outside your culture. There is no such thing as one king being more superior to another simply because they are from a large ethnic group. That doesn't make them powerful

until recently when every town now decides to call their monarchs Oba.
The Olubadan doesnt even have a traditional crown... if you see any crown on his head... na tailor sow am .

Is it in state or in a standard Yoruba concept.

At state level, we may have many first class king depending on the size and importance of their community in the state.

In a standard Yoruba concept, we don't have many first class king and I don't think oba of Lagos is among.



The traditional first class Yoruba kings are Orogun of Ila, Alafin of Oyo, Oni of Ife, Alake of egba and oba of bennin.

The next in hierachy are: Olubadan of Ibadan, awojale of Ijebu, Timi of Ede, owa obokun Of Ijesha, onokoyi, Osamawe of ondo etc

The third level are Soun of ogbomosho, olofa of offa, akinrun of ikinrun etc.

Some of our popular kings are made popular because of the mordern development which favour their community and they become more popular.

For instance Deji of Akure in not bigger than Osamawe of ondo but since akure in the capital and Deji is the king of Akure, his throne overshadow the king of ondo town.

There are many kings in Yorubaland that are ahead of Olubadan e.g. Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland, Akarigbo of Remo, Soun of Ogbomoso, Oluwo of Iwo, Ataoja of Osogbo, Timi of Ede, Osemawen of Ondo, Olugbo of Ugboland, Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, etc. Historically, Olubadan is nowhere near these Obas.
