scholes0: Oga Akure was never Ijesha what are you saying sef.
Ijesha should get their lands taken by the Ibadans in Iresi, Igbajo, Ada ad the rest back and leave the Ekiti kingdom of Akure aulone. Mr Man akure is not ekiti Kingdom pls, just like that ijesa man is trying to force akure to be part of his ijesa which is not possible Owa obokun will not even say akure is ijesa, the whole of akure as of today is bigger than the whole of ijesa land so if we want to have a so called state with ijesa due to land akure should embrace ijesa. Akure was never part of ur Ekiti go and read the first historical book about akure written in yoruba by Pa Atandare a man born around 1890s said akure kin se ekiti ra ati ra. The British only merged akure with ekiti because of administrative convenience not more nothing less and in 1946 wen akure separate from the British they realized it was an error to merged akure with ekiti, I know this because I'm a prince and I grow up in the Deji's palace so I have those documents in the palace archive. Akure is Akure not Ekiti abeg. The present akure is the second biggest or largest after Ibadan. |

lx3as: Mr man you have a lot to learn about your history... Notwithstanding, Akure was recently carving an identity for itself which I understand. It doesn't change history. Why was Deji part of Ekiti Pelupelu or why do Ondo Ekimogun history shows that they only share boundary with Ekiti and Akoko? Tell me the differences in their culture, dialects, food and markets.
In the classification of Yoruba groups, there was nothing like 'Akure' as Yoruba group until recently. Obviously u are olodo saying ondo Ekimogun share boundary with Akoko who taught u that nonsense, when akoko was under Owo division, the Osemawe cant even say such nonetity talk, the boundary of Osemawe ondo, is with Deji akure, owa obokun Adimula ijesha, ooni and ikale/ilaje ppl and part of Ijebu. U don't know anything eyah go read more about akure, ondo, owo, ekiti ✌🏼 |

In the classification of Yoruba groups, there was nothing like 'Akure' as Yoruba group until recently. I don't know whre u got ur own history and there was no time in Ondo Ekimogun map orshows it share boundary with Ekiti NO, Osemawe says he share boundary with Deji at omi Owena and the same omi Owena is the boundary btw Deji and Owa obokun Adimula ijesha and Osemawe of Ondo so I don't know who told u akure is ekiti, go and read pa Atandare iwe Itan akure ati agbegbe re. The British merged akure with ekiti for administrative convenience not history and in 1946 when the British realized the mistake they separated akure from ekiti and apologise for the error merging akure with Ekiti. Otun Moba ekiti was once under the ilorin Emirate can we say Otun is now ilorin. Most of u don't even know akure history jsut say things u aren't expose to with all confidence and all na lies and fear says. The Deji hardly attend pelupelu meeting go back to ur history the Deji only attend twice. Wen the prince of Wales later king Edward came to nigeria in 1925 the Deji represent akure division not Ekiti oba and the first yoruba oba meeting in 1937 the Deji wasn't addressed as ekiti oba. So I don't know whr u are getting this nonsense from. The Deji was the highest paid Oba inthe whole old ondo province(onod and ekiti states) of today. The Deji was more paid than Osemawe, olowo, Ewi, elekole who were the snr obas on the old ondo province ofthen. Wo I'm a prince of akure who know history so u cant tell me about my own ppl and Kingdom |

Gensanusi: DISCLAIMER BY NIMASA MANAGEMENT
Our attention has been drawn to a fraudulent employment scheme currently making the rounds online, and especially on various social media platforms that the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) will soon commence ‘massive recruitment’ exercise.
This is to inform the general public to utterly disregard such unfounded and false publication as it is a scam being perpetrated by fraudulent agents and persons to mislead and exploit the unsuspecting public.
These fraudulent persons have also been known to contact innocent people through e-mail, social media and other forms of internet publication soliciting for payment, inducement, advance fees or other favours in exchange for employment. Victims stand the risk of extortion.
For the avoidance of doubt, any party that puts itself forward as acting on behalf of NIMASA for the purpose of recruitment is completely false and NIMASA disclaims and bears no responsibility whatsoever for their action.
NIMASA does not communicate employment vacancies through third party online channels, emails or social media platforms.
NIMASA hereby expressly disassociates itself from such fraudulent online publications and posts and warns the general public not to fall victims to such baseless and false schemes in the guise of employment opportunity.
Members of the public are hereby urged to treat with suspicion any such offerings and verify their claims in order not to fall prey to these scammers as NIMASA has not designated any entity or persons to act on its behalf.
Please report such incidents to info@nimasa.gov.ng or the appropriate law enforcement agencies.
NIMASA expressly disclaims any liability for any losses incurred by any person (s) as a result of reliance on such fraudulent e-mails/online publications.
Signed:
NIMASA MANAGEMENT

Sammy07: I wonder too. Tho He's the chancellor of Wesley university Ondo.
They can't appoint Deji and left out Osemawe, Olowo and Olugbo.
That akoko ehn, they get numerous dialect maybe that's why they don't have a paramount ruler. In a town, there can be up to 9 different dialects, even in streets opp streets will be speaking different dialects. Obviously u are angry and jealous of the throne of the Deji of akure firstly the Deji of akure is the primus inter pares among Ondo state Oba and he is first in the list of obas in ondo state, that doesn't mean he snr the Osemawe or olowo and let me tell u the Deji Osemawe and olowo snr that of olugbo who became first class Oba in 1999 those three I mention have bn first class from time immemorial no govt promote them not even British they met them as they are. They are the only 3 obas that represents Old Ondo province in the deform Old western region house of chiefs then olugbo was just a grade C ona like Amapetu of Mahin, olukare, Olubaka. Stop hating on the Deji of akure throne at least for many years wen Akure don't have Oba Olowo was the only chancellor in ondo state for federal university. From benin to unijos and finally before the death of olowo folagbade Olagbegi to UniAbj. So why angry with the Deji's throne pls ooo stop the hate the Deji is first among equal |

Alba3: So Emure-Ekiti, Igbara-odo are part of Akure? Do little research about Ekiti confederation history. How did Deji found himself in Ekiti Pelupelu Obas before political demarcation? The entire Akure North, South, Ifedore LGA in Ondo state have shared history with Ekitis with little ìjèsà influence just as we find in Igbara-odo, Okemesi, Efon, Ikogosi, etc. Akure is not Ekti and Akure dialect is different from that of ekiti. Akure is pure akure as a sub ethnic group of yoruba |

balosunky: Jesus 10 first kings in your state alone or do u mean ur state first class kings. Even olubadan, oba of lagos and olu of warri are just political first kings just like the Deji of akure speaking from my yoruba's view Which political or politicians upgrade the Deji's throne pls mention it. The Deji belong to the first 12 and permanent members of western region house of chiefs representing Akure Division just like Alake representing egba, Awujale representing Ijebu etc. Which party upgraded the Deji pls mention. Thank God u said ur yoruba view not as a fact or document to backup ur lies against the Deji's throne. Wen u don't know history why not take ur time to read instead of embarrassing urself like olodo who knows nothing but forming genius with empty brain why not ask. |

Deji, Soun, Ataoja, Timi are all in Baale/Olubadan Ibadan's league.
Soun & Timi thrones are not traditional but founded as a result of Oyo's military kini (ran out of vocabs right now, pardon me).
Deji's throne was founded by Owa Atakumosa of Ilesa and for a while Deji throne was under the influence of Ilesa and I think Ijesa territories expanded towards that front.
Ataoja's throne is a recent throne whose relevance is solely derived from Osogbo being a state capital. In Yoruba history, Osogbo & Ataoja played a latent position in the scheme of things.
Is Alaafin in your list of first class due to Oyo's military power? The problem with someone of u here is u just come online and yab nonsense saying the Deji is a Baale how didirin can one reason. Firstly the Deji of akure is the primus inter pares Oba in ondo state follow by Osemawe and olowo those are the three snr Paramount rulers in ondo state I don't know which of ur history teacher or the historical nonsense u read. The Alake Awujale or Owa obokun aren't snr to the those obas I mention and let me not forget the Ewi of Ado Elekole and other snr Ekiti obas. Lack of history is affecting u or jealousy for the Deji. I'm hearing his nonsense for the very first time calling Deji and Paramount ruler of akure a Baale 😂.go back and carry ur history book u will know how powerful the Deji was. U don't know the historical relationship between Deji and Owa because if u k ow u will not talk that rubbish saying akure is in ijesa 😂 gosh daft generation that know next to nothing |
