[quote author=abbey4christ post=84209118]People have different experiences, with the few months I have spent here I can agree with the 2nd and 3rd post but I do not totally agree with everything in the 1st post. Let me share my little experience with job search. I came in July this year and after staying with my host for about 3 weeks plus I got an apartment of my own which means paying rent and other bills. I had to eat humble pie to take up an accounts clerk role of 3months just for the so called “Canadian experience” and to pay my bills, no savings. I was working with a multinational oil company, though as a contract staff and earning average of 400k per month depending on days worked.

Nice one Akoda.....If you know you know

I've been following this thread since 2016. IELTS has showed me pepper i have written and lost count my writing was always coming back with 6.5, But i could not retreat with all the testimonies here and there. I also contacted @Johnnybravo when he dropped a line to encourage someone that was down with the writing syndrome he said and i quote "BY THE TIME AM THROUGH WITH YOU IN YOUR WRITING YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME". Mehn this guy is a Guru immediately after my 1st session with him, he was able to identify my issue in writing.
Lo and Behold i scaled IELTS this time
L - 8.5
R - 8.5
W - 7.5
S - 7.0
CRS now stands at 463. Thanks to all those testimonies that kept me going and not to retreat.
@johnnybravo@vcole@ifeoma,@joo,@Topsmamen,@wasseynewest...+ silent readers wishing us well...THANK YOU,THANK YOU, THANK YOU....May we never stop rejoicing.

BC wonders shall never end. I already got a response from BC Abuja last week on the same July 8 EOR which I applied for on 11th Aug (much later than urs). Maybe that "technical" issue is that ink finished when printing ur new trf and won't get replacement till Dec. Useless people! Oga, in other words they still want to chop u small b4 letting go. It is well!
Abi o, technical issue indeed.
