Politics › Igbos Hate Buhari But Love Trump, Why? by Adekamkpe23(op): 4:12pm On Sep 09, 2020 |
Have you noticed Igbos are the only tribe in Africa supporting Trump? Tomorrow now Igbos would start accusing African Americans of hating them even though they're the only tribe supporting Trump (their oppressor). They hate incompetent Buhari with passion but love another equally incompetent president Trump. I wonder what they hope to gain considering available evidence that Trump is bound to lose the presidential election. Is like Igbo people don't realise the American embassy in Nigeria is staffed by both Republicans and Democrats. There's not one Igbo man of note supporting the democrats. I'm sure the embassy will be telling Joe Biden's people how fanatical Igbos are about Trump. Talk of putting all eggs in one basket.
From my own little research, I think the Igbos are not good in politics. Apart from putting all eggs in one basket as regards American election, let's take a look their politics here in Nigeria. Do you notice they always castigate anybody who was APC but who is now PDP? They'd attack Kwankwaso, Obi Ezekwesili, Atiku, Sowore for daring to change parties. Now where do they think they'd get the numbers if they continue to reject and convince others to join PDP? Watch Nnamdi Kanu and you'd see what I mean. He uses disparaging words to describe other tribes, instead of building bridges, he builds gulfs. Anyway back to the topic. What happens if Joe Biden wins?

Grayoso: This just shows what Tinubu will achieve for Nigeria matching his natural brilliance with the competence of the superstar leaders he will surely deploy everywhere.
Tinubu ambition is one many fear because, like Awolowo, Tinubu knows exactly what needs to be done, how to go about it and those to use to achieve the desired results. Tinubu can turn ordinary player into a superstar in a minute. |

slivertongue: low doesn't mean they dont go home. they do amd in their numbers There's a tradition which is prevalent in the SE. When they make it outside, they never want to go back. I have Igbo friends who haven't visited the SE for decades. |

chiefbuchiV12: I tend to disagree with you about that.... Do you remember the West was (is still) angry that Africa has been recording low numbers of casualty since the beginning of this pandemic? Even if we do t have test centers by now we should have been recording massive deaths at least I agree with you we don't have large numbers of sufferers, we should thank a God for that. |

OfoIgbo: For your information, it is both the SE and SS states (except the ABOKI-nized Edo state) that are doing well. Cross River state doesn't even have any Covid-19 case. The same goes for Kogi.
I am currently in Anambra, which is just as well because I don't wanna be infected by the less intelligent people in the north and the west.
So far, Yorubas and Fulanis are the major careers of this virus. The smart Igbos and SS people are showing great intelligence by instituting policies that are helping their people, and the higher IQs in these places, as showcased by WAEC and JAMB results, is beginning to prove useful.
The less intelligent leaders of the Yoruba states and their Fulani counterparts are displaying their ignorance to the world. Anambra state, which has the most traveled people in the whole continent of Africa, only has one case. Now that is one huge intelligence
IGBO AMAKA So the Igbos are using their intelligence to stop the spread of covid 19 in their region. I hope they use same intelligence to spread wealth in the same region. Igbo Amaka |

slivertongue: I thought ur thread is for serious discourse, but all the same let me spare u my thought. if this were to be Xmas season be rest assured that the east would have it more because that is when they travel the most. right now they are in their various locations to eke a living. the north is having it tough because a lot of her economic migrants returned from the SW. we must learn to avoid brik bats over serious issues No brick bat's here. You said Igbos go home at Xmas, but guess what, not any more. I read it in December how transporters were disappointed at the low number of people going home. If I find the link I'll repost here. |

Health › Re: Revealed: Reasons The SE Have Few Corona Virus Cases by Adekamkpe23(op): 3:23pm On May 06, 2020 |
OfoIgbo: Over 97% of sufferers are in APC-controlled states. Lagos, Kano, Katsina e.t.c that pride themselves on being the major states to ensure Buhari was brought in as president, are currently bearing the full brunt of Covid-19 The states that are even currently showing some success in this battle are SE and SS states, who are currently relegated in the power play. PDP/APGA control most of these states Currently Yoruba states are leading in Covid-19 infections followed by their strange bed-fellows, the Fulani/Hausa states
It was a highly corrupt and incompetent APC-controlled central government led by Buhari that left our borders open for more than two months, in spite of the cries from well-meaning Nigerians. He left our borders open just because he wanted his daughter, and Abba Kyari to come back before he shut it, so he sacrificed the heath of the nation for nepotism reasons.
It is still fresh in our memory, how the PDP-controlled government led by Jonathan from the SS and a competent Health minister from the SE, dealt with Ebola, once the deadly disease got to Lagos and Rivers state.
Next time, elect people with proven education. Not certificate forgers and drug-dealers There's a reason people run to apc states. People live in these states unlike the south east. For example when was the last time you visited your home state? |
Health › Re: Revealed: Reasons The SE Have Few Corona Virus Cases by Adekamkpe23(op): 3:20pm On May 06, 2020 |
jeyselassie: Or maybe the south east is not busy cooking up figures to get international funding like some states are doing. They just value their health. You can't cook figures when everyone has left home. It'll be a waste. |

Tallesty1: You said people don't go there and I gave you a link of people going there. That's simple.
If you're looking for someone to join you in this endless unnecessary tribal wars going on here then will may need to look further. They brought cows to you, it's called commerce. This is for serious discussion not what you think, I'm not tribalistic. |
