As a proud Igbo man, I can tell you for free that in Nigeria today, no Igbo man stands a chance against tinubu or any one from any other tribe.

The reason is simply because igbo's, while having very competent people for the job are hated across the nation.

It's wisdom to tell yourself the truth. That's why we encourage PDP to field a slightly detribalized northerner to send APC home if they make the mistake of fielding a south westerner.

You tried very well by spilling over 80% truths in ur comment up there - which is un-Ipoblike. cool
Perhaps u can take it to a 100% by telling us:
1) why, to paraphrase ur words, the whole Igbo nation has lost hope just because of ordinary one man- Tinubu?
2) why, to borrow ur words, 'igbos are hated across d nation'.
3) when will they ever have d balls to contest directly without HIDING behind another region.
4) why igbos always have issues wherever they sojourn. Just in 2018 alone:

Even minority seat they couldn't get under their slavish party PDP

It even appears that PDP is wiser. From ongoing permutations, it appears that PDP wants to zone their VP slot to the south west. This means no major political party is considering them for anything serious. As usual, they'll get chief whip or minority whip.

If in 2023, it is Bola Tinubu(APC) vs Atiku Abubakar(PDP) in the Presidential race, Atiku will beat Tinubu easily. In the South of Nigeria, Tinubu is practically a nobody outside his native SW geopolitical zone. The SE/SS have always been traditionally PDP voters and are likely to carry on that pattern in 2023. No gain saying that most Igbos dont even like Tinubu, who will have to choose his running mate from the North. Atiku is most likely to pick his running mate from either the SE or SS area(maybe Peter Obi once again). Atiku will take the SE/SS zones while Tinubu will take the SW zone

This will leave the North as battle ground and kingmaker. With Buhari leaving for good, many Northerners who still want power to reside in the North will no longer see any point in voting APC. When you add the fact that Atiku Abubakar has far more political muscle in the North than Tinubu, you realise he will do very well there. The North will naturally gravitate towards one of their own and Atiku will politically bury Tinubu in the North.

If in 2023, APC fields Tinubu and PDP fields Atiku, Atiku will defeat Tinubu with a landslide victory

grin
Atiku is in a jam already. He lied to the nation and to the world using fabricated results to challenge APC victory in 2019. This is a weight he cannot shed off.

While Atiku goes to Dubai as a visitor, the UAE government comes to Tinubu as a partner.

Guys, we keep records.

The power blocks that make up Nigeria do not trust Igbos, they never have. But as soon as Igbos talk about going their way as a separate independent country, they will be the first to rush and pick up guns to fight for one Nigeria

Atiku will beat Tinubu proper, and he will do it with the help of Igbos. An Igbo man may never be president of Nigeria, but neither will a Yoruba man

And why do the "power blocs" not trust the Igbos? Does it have to do with the fact that they were jubilating when Nnamdi Kanu urged his Igbo people to kill Yorubas and Hausas?

Atiku will beat Tinubu proper, and he will do it with the help of Igbos. An Igbo man may never be president of Nigeria, but neither will a Yoruba man

And you wonder why almost all of the ethnic groups in Nigeria despise you guys?

The same Yoruba that accommodate you in their region. Your hatred of them shows that they are taking a risk allowing you to stay in their region.

The unfortunate thing about your statement is that you don't have the clout to achieve an Atiku presidency. You've tried it before and failed woefully.

You see, everyone you guys have ever supported in the Nigerian political space ended up a loser.

From Jonathan to Saraki to Atiku.

From Fayose to Dino and much more.

You get my point?

We already know Nigeria is experiencing growing pains. Baby trafficking, ritual skull mining, poverty induced kerosene sharing etc. in the south coupled with insecurity in the North are already evidence of that. I agree with you.

But I'm talking about an existence in which you know & acknowledge you aren't good enough be elected to lead other Nigerians due to your own behaviour & inadequacies. That's another level of pathetic.

Atiku will be disappointed again....since he can cry....his cry continues after 2023...because Tinubu will defeat him grandiosely...Tinubu just need one popular Hausa-Fulani as his deputy...
Then the game will be balance....

The thing is that when we Igbos look at those who have been elected and see they dont have anything tangible to show for it except bragging rights, we laugh. Buhari who is elected may not even be able to return to Daura in 2023 because by then, Governor Masari would have stopped taking pictures with AK47 carrying bandits who would have overrun Katsina state by then.

Or

Dr Chris Ngige (APC) Vs Atiku (PDP).

As long as there are still "luxurious" buses from the east entering Katsina daily carrying migrant Igbos in their dozens to sell okirika & otapiapia despite the bandits (even in standing attachment for hours), then don't worry, the President will be fine smiley

Pls, say the truth!

Its very simply: We compete very hard wherever we go (we go to very distant lands) and try to make the best out of anything our hands find to do, making many do better than many of the locals. And we take pride in the integrity God has given every human being. As a result, most igbos are seen as proud and arrogant, but we only take pride in ourselves and believe we can achieve great things. The little Igbo child in the village with pauperized parents believes he can be great tomorrow, and if given the opportunity, would work diligently to achieve it. Some do, others don't. And in pursuit of survival and greatness he crosses paths, steps on toes, throws tantrums etc.

That's the reason for the hatred, nothing more.

As per your first question, please don't blow Tinubus trumpet so loud. The man might not think highly of himself as some of you think of him. If you must know, Tinubu is no longer as powerful as he once was when he held the SW firmly in his hands. Today, he only controls Lagos, Osun and a part of Ogun. He has more enemies amongst SW elites than anywhere else in Nigeria. He is the least of our problems in the SE.

An Igbo presidential candidate is just as weak before Tinubu as he is before any candidate from any other tribe in Nigeria at the moment.

In the present Nigerian political atmosphere, an Igbo man can only defeat another Igbo man. That's why those carrying Igbo 2023 presidency on their head are seeking ways to get APC to give the ticket to an Igbo man. With that, they can mount more pressure on PDP to do same.

While you are pulling yoruba down, Igbo is going no where as all your effort to move forward as a region is channeled towards pulling down Yorubas. Just imagine the nonsense you wrote up there, instead of you trying to sell Igbo candidate to Nigerians, you are busy trying to deform your opponent.

It is most unfair for any major tribe in Nigeria to say that we are concentrated on pulling down other tribes.

Since the return to democracy, igbos have supported men from SW, SS and the core north, even against other igbos. And when it should ordinarily be the turn of the south east, the Yoruba's say No. And you expect the igbos not to play the spoilers?

Do you know the amount of pressure that would be upon the 2 major parties to field Igbo candidates if the SW openly declares that 2023 presidency belongs to the SE? Do you know what that would do for southern unity which is the most important thing at this point in time where the north is driving Nigeria to a permanent state of retrogression? I bet you don't know because you are only thinking of yourselves.
