Phones / Re: Samsung S3 vs Tecno Phantom A (f7) by adeleye83(m): 1:40pm On Aug 10, 2015 |
I bought a Tecno h7 for My Russian wife. She loved it so so much. She prefer it to her other Phone model Samsung s4. It's of full HD screen just like Samsungs, it came with a power bank... I think it all depends on the type of Phone model you buy. My uncle uses one of this new Samsung galaxy duo sim models. It's not even got a front camera bought for a very weird price. Would have bought An M5 And collect change with the money. Here in Nigeria we think buying expensive things make us a big guy. Tecno will do anything Samsung can Let's leave Story. |

Culture / Re: 10 Common Misconceptions About Ibadan. by adeleye83(m): 12:27pm On Jul 01, 2015 |
You igbos. Why do you hate Yoruba people a lot? This is the Capital city of all western Nigerian state. We had the firsts of any pioneer establishments you can name. You guys are learning. like we don't move out to other cities right? The East is rubbish compared to Ibadan. If your place is conducive for you why do almost every Igbo wanna leave the east to lime-light. Business moves better in Lagos And Ibadan than any other place in the country. My Igbo friends as attested to that so don't argue about this. I have an European wife she's been to several Nigerian cities And Love Ibadan better than even Lagos. There must be something unique about the city. Ibadan is the definition of a transformed city. You can see a part with Old settlements And the other a colonial And modern part. The modern part of Ibadan is far far far better than any Eastern city sentiments apart. Ibadan got an history to protect it's an Ancient city. Get that to your brain. Have you ever had a glimpse of what an Ancient city ruin looks like? Then visit Ibadan And see reasons why European archaeologist regularly visit Oyo state. I read a comment saying houses, transportation And food are cheap in Ibadan. My question is should does be an expensive thing? This things are the cheapest in any modest society. One make life easier for indigenes And Ibadan visitors And you don't appreciate other than to hate? Think o. There is a saying And I think its because of Iwa Omo luabi of all Yorubas that as reflected in the saying "Ibadan to Gbonile to Gba Alejo". Try get the meaning. And mind you I am not from Ibadan. But I have lived there And so proud of the only city in Nigeria Where any tribe can become king. Foreigners started Ibadan as a Military Cantonment to protect the Oyo Empire And Yoruba Race... so Either you're Igbo or Hausa or Ijaw. It's a inter tribal community Where everyone is free. Make time to ask your Igbo high chiefs who are heir to the throne of Olubadan. Some of your Igbo Uncles are ranked to the throne.. It is a city for everyone. So many things you got to know about Ibadan. The city of Ogunmola, Latosha, Iba Oluyole. The city that fought for all Yoruba territory's peace. The Lagos you enjoy today was through the efforts of Ibadan war lords... Yes we are local And proud to have produced the best brains for the Igbos And other Ethnicity out of our locality. 3 Likes |

If It's that, then I believe you're miss informed. have you heard about the new Palms Mall in Ibadan? It's the largest my Brother. cutieme: Ghana Sweet oooo. But you must have a way to survive there. At first it was very rough for me But as Omo Naija we must find a way to survive. Living standards in Accra is on the high especially feeding and accommodation. But you will have a nice meal. Most restaurants are built with temporary materials so are moveable and are beside the road and very neat. i love eating wachey with black pepper in the morning or Bean and lovely ghana bread. Then in the evening I will eat Banku with okro soup. I always have challenges eating night food in Accra because you can only get local foods at night like bank and memory then you have to eat your banku with either palm nut soup Or okro Or kontonmirin leaf (cocoa yam leaf) my best bet was okro Though I don't like it but I most Or I go hungry All night cause I can't be eating indomie with fried egg every night Or I turn to yokozuna before coming back to Naija. It's cheaper to eat local foods than foreign foods. You can get local Nigerian dishes like Amala, Iyan, eba, fufu, with Naija soups mostly around kuame Nkrumah circle But very expensive o you might spend upto 20 cedes before you belle full o. Lol. Lots of our Igbo and yoruba brothers there doing business there. Housing is on the high rate If you are a Nigerian in Accra. For a room could go as much as 80 cedes per month Or more for Nigerians. They hype the price of things When They know you are Nigerian. They don't do that for other foreigners either whites Or other African nationals But once you are a Nigerian be ready for price hype. Transportation is cheap. Most Nigerians take chartered taxis. Very comfortable taxis or even danfo they call buses tro tro . you could even request for A/c from the taxi driver and he Will be willing to put it on. They got real nice clubs the most common one been Vienna City night club at Adabraka Just beside the Kuame Nkrumah circle. Shakazulu night club etc. With Lots of women for take home from around 60cedes to 120 cedes depending on How clean the babe is. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

Someone introduced me to a retired immigration officer who now do business of conveying people to Accra, Ghana with his private vehicle. Very very comfortable. With even A/C in the Such. I paid 12k then i heard it as increased now due to the cedes free fall in value and paid extra 4k Or So for border fees from Send, hilakonghi till Aflao borders. You'll be giving either 60days Or 90days stay at the Ghana side of Aflao border. You can stay more days But will pay for extra days on your return back home. If you know your way you will pay less. 1 Like |

I also believe that Lamurudu, Agbonmeregun and Oduduwa lived in Mecca when there was no Islam there. Don't forget that the Messenger Mohammed preached against Idolatry in Arabia and there was a Jihad that I think most have chased Idolaters to shift base to somewhere near. Egypt would likely be the place to move too but with the Pharaoh been so powerful they might not have a grand and had to move again towards the west from Sudan. Think about this. Odua a gbe wa o. |
