Is this phone going to get any update at all? The phantom z already has an ota upgrade, it's the same company, so why haven't they rolled out one for the h6?

Try this, go to the freedom app, use the multifunction three lined thing (button) to access options. Click stop or close or something, I'm sure you'll figure it out, then force close the app and uninstall. If you need freedom, make sure it's always running, it basically controls your Google account, without it running it won't work. Hope this helps, it worked for me on my former phone. You can also check YouTube for 'how to use play store without freedom'. Good luck!

Yeah I did already, posted something you probably didn't see it. Can you please run a test on your SD card, how many partitions is it showing? I tried to copy some songs to my phone, out of hundred, about 50 copied before the card unmounted again. I removed the SD card and I've been playing songs smoothly on my phone since. The phone isn't bad, its definitely the memory card. I'm trying to backup the card on my laptop but its not copying, what is meant to be 100mb/s is writing at a speed of 4bytes/s. I think I've lost all my files, any ideas on how to get them out?

I used it but how will I know its fake? All I know is my friend uses a 16gig SD card on his xperia and it has 8 partitions. What's the capacity of your SD card and can you test it with the SD card insight, how many partitions is it showing for you?

Well I strongly feel the SD card is responsible. Its a 16gig card, bought it 2,200 and yes all my songs are on the SD card. Not sure I can get a picture of it.. My music just stops playing and when I check memory & storage, the memory card would have removed!

Guys please how can I test if my memory card is fake? It keeps unmounting every time I play music. I need to find out so when I return it I'll have a valid reason. Please your help would be nice! Also is it normal for an SD card to have only one partition?

Pls guys I need your help urgently. I bought a 16 gig memory card and I think it might be fake. It unmounts spontaneously and causes my phone to crash. Does anyone use 'Advance memory card' here, can you pls download SD card insight on play store and let me know what it displays under 'manufacturer name'. I finally found out why my launcher keeps crashing, my SD card is faulty so it keeps getting unmounted at random intervals. Weird thing is that it's a new 16gig card...So when I'm playing music it just stops, since there's no sd card data to process, the launcher crashes! Its just comforting to know the phone is not faulty!

What's windows case pls?

I don't know why my default launcher kept crashing when ever I played music... Really liked the launcher but now I've had to settle for zero launcher. Missing some of the functionality of the default launcher but at least it doesn't crash when I play music anymore...

My default app launcher keeps crashing, any ideas please? I think this all started when I put my 16 gig memory card. I read somewhere that KitKat isn't really compatible with external storage and Google encourages phone to do without external storage. Anyway I've moved all my apps to the internal storage and cleared data on my app launcher, then I did a hard reset for good measure. Still monitoring it, but your idea will still be helpful. I use advance memory card BTW.

Go to settings>apps>all. Find the music app, clear data and force stop. Open it again and let's see how things go

Guys pls I need help, my music player is really messed up!! It has crashed my phone twice already, don't know what's going on. Ive taken my battery out twice today, cuz it just wont respond! I'm not trying to discourage anyone from buying this phone, but it's really frustrating! I only marked the option for audio enhancer, that's all I've done in regard to settings. The weird thing is its the freaking default music player, phone's not rooted or anything..Any ideas?

Which update, smh. Y'all will be putting custom ROMs and stuff! When your phone has a problem now it'll be another story. The only official update gionee provided is for KitKat, no lollipop as of yet. ☺

This is new. Ever since I bought this phone last month, no app has ever crashed, not even the music app. And concerning bragging about the phone to your friend, I wouldn't support that, but I can beat my chest anytime and anywhere, and defend this phone.

Men maybe I did something wrong, I tried to pause it with my earpiece, it wasn't responding, then I got the message 'launcher has crashed, wait or close'. Well I just hope it doesn't happen again, haven't had any other problem with it tho...

Men so tecno has to fix this issue with the music player. It kinda hangs sometimes and just now it crashed my phone, had to take out the battery. Not cool at all, was about to brag about the phone number o my friend sef. Hope they fix it when they provide an update...

Has anyone had any problem with swift key before? Mine just crashed my launcher, my phone hanged for the very first time! Anyway I installed Google keyboard, much better and faster!
