charliejose: Thank you. Yh, I noticed she denied like 3 people when I was there, and then would give that fake sad look. Although she approved the VISA of an aged couple before me going for a conference, they have always been going for the conference. She didn't ask of my SOA. And although I stuttered a bit, I think I was quite confident and the interview was going well until she rejected me. How did you know that they have always been going?? |

Travel › Re: Is It True That They Don't Allow Things Like Maggi Through International Airport by adeney93: 1:11pm On Aug 17, 2019 |
Put all of these in your check in luggage kenylon: So I'll be traveling to the USA and I plan on taking a lot of foodstuffs like dry fish, seasoning, egusi, etc.
But somebody told me that they don't allow maggi through the airport, so I don't know if my seasonings will be safe. My seasonings include things like jollof and fried rice seasonings, berbecue seasoning, etc. And they are plenty.
Can anyone verify this information for me please? |

OmoAlata1: I am in the US and I have to travel to Nigeria. I was wondering if I will be allow to enter Nigeria with expired passport accompany with a valid US passport. My friend told me, I can travel to Nigeria with an expired passport as long as I have a valid US passport, but I have to renew my passport as soon as I get to Nigeria or else they will not allow me back into US. Is this a true statement?
I don't have time to renew my Nigerian passport in US as I will not receive it before my trip. By the way, i have the old old old passport from the 90s not the new ecowa type. You can get an Emergency Travel Certificate from USor Better still come to Nigeria with US PASSPORT and do VISA ON ARRIVAL |

Travel › Re: Best Seats In Airbus And Boeing Aircrafts by adeney93: 1:14am On Jul 28, 2019 |
Hello business travelers and other travel enthusiasts
One of the questions that comes to mind when it comes to taking long haul flights is which seat is the best in Economy and sometimes in business.
long-haul flights is defined as being longer than 2,200–2,600 nmi (4,100–4,800 km). Hence, our focus on this thread would on majorly international flights and not local flights within Nigeria.
Boeing and Airbus are world's largest aircrafts producers producing most commercial planes being used by major airlines, save for some private jets that are produced by Bombardier, Gulfstream, Cessna etc that are mostly regional flights.
Our focus is not limited to any route, meaning we discuss our travel experience Within Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Dominican Republic, Fiji Islands, Americas etc
Also experiences should be shared from flying all major airlines like Emirates Qatar Airways South Africa Airways Ethiopian Airline Ethiad Airways Air Peace(International route only) Medview (International route only) Delta Airlines American Airlines ANA Qantas Air Newzealand Singapore Airlines Virgin Atlantic KLM Air France Arik Air (International route only)
Feel free to share your experience, who knows? You might just be saving someone from stress by knowing how to plan well

estijaz: Hi, My issue is quite complex. I have an important conference to attend at the University of Virginia, USA from June 17-21, 2019. However the nearest available interview appointment time in Nigeria is August 22, 2019. I requested for an expedited interview process and was denied. However, I will be travelling to Japan on a tourist visa from May 23-June 7, 2019:
1) Can I schedule my visa interview at the US Embassy in Tokyo instead (their nearest available date is April 18, 2019)?
2) Can I cancel my previous appointment (the one I created just so I can activate the Request an Expedited interview button) on my US Embassy in Nigeria portal and use the same MRV receipt number to schedule an interview in Tokyo during my visit dates (I have to create a new account on the Embassy in Japan's website)?
3) Can I use thesame Ds-160 form that I previously used to apply for a US visa in Nigeria to schedule my new interview date in Tokyo?
4) Does my visiting Japan on a tourist visa affect my interview decision?
Thanks in advance! What's your interview transcript please?? |
