I apply for a conference as a speaker and the organizer sent a letter to me.

What affidavit are you talking about? I have a son too for my ex and my us citizen husband filed for my son and I. I did not see anywhere we were asked for an affidavit. The only thing is I know I have to get a letter of consent for his natural born father and submit that during NVC stage.

I have no issue. I'm only trying to help you not to get a permanent ban and regret later. I met a Nigerian on visa journey that went down this part. He lied he was married during his b1b2 visa. He later met a US citizen who filed a K1 visa for him. He went and procured a fake divorce paper claiming he had a divorce at ikeja high Court. After his interview he was approved but placed on AP pending when his visa gets issued. He waited over a month nothing, 2 months later he got an email from the embassy that his divorce papers were investigated and they are fake so he has been banned. He had no one to advice him like I'm advising you now and he got a ban. This happened to him in the month of May this year.

Omo, so what's ur solution or alternative man, some saying I just say she's dead, others say divorce, while I'm just thinking I should come clean n say I wasn't married but I considered my ex girlfriend as my wife so that's the reason I stated married.. I just don't know which one to do

I am not married nor have I ever been married, I was mislead by agents to put married on my ds160 application last year, n i was denied visa.. So now that I want to do fiance visa, what should I do about the lie of 2018 that I said I was married

Do not on your life submit fake divorce papers to the US embassy if you don't want to incurre a life ban. They verify marriage and divorce documents when it comes to spousal visas. It's no joke.

Lol.......just know that if you submit a counterfeit divorce document to the US Consulate, they will find out.

Then he gave me 3 white papers that contained instructions on how to pick up my passport, pay immigrant fees and rights as a spouse of a us citizen.
Then he said I wish you Good luck in the United States of America!!!!
It was a really smooth process, my appointment was for 6:30, I arrived 5:30, got through security and got into the building by 7:05am. Was only asked for original copy of police report, IP and PP. I was out of the building by 8:30am.
Thank God we made it!!!

I tell u Nigeria and Nigerians can never and ever see any meaningful progress when we justify criminal act in which ever form,the law says ban on importation of rice,and some people still justify smuggling because of high price of local rice, how will u encourage local production if u don't ban importation.any country that want development will have to shut it's doors to importation and grow local productions, the world is celebrating CHINA and INDIA today forgotten that both countries shot it's doors to importation for over 20yrs,to develop technologically, today they are better for it

Hello everyone,

I’m an F1 student currently studying in the state but will like to come home for December/January break.
The issue is my F1 visa got expired last year November and I’m yet to renew it, I have all my documents ready and my I-20 is still valid till 2021.
Some issues to keep in mind:
1) I had a surgery last year October which was fully paid for by some charity organization at the hospital.
2) In my initial I-20, I was given full assistantship with stipend for my first year but due to budget cut I now have half assistantship with no stipend.

Is it advisable to come back home?

Please Gurus in the house! My good friend need your advice. She is planning to attend a workshop in October but after paying for B1 Visa fee, she realised that the first available appointment date is in December.
If she choose December, the workshop would have ended and there will be no need for it. Also her invitation says the workshop will hold between October 30 to November

She should seek for an emergency appointment date

Please is there a way around this, kindly advice. Thank you very much for your input and advice
