Red yen gangan ni koko. Sets the tone at the top. The others will take dressing. |
As it is, I cannot lay my hands on PDP promises. So one will not even know what to hold them to as they spent the bulk of the time talking about Buhari and APC. The many promises of 2011 remain largely unfulfilled as well. As citizens, our roles are cut out in demanding the many dividends from the govt. We must keep them on their toes. I am voting for CHANGE knowing that I can hold them accountable once in power and that I can also with the power vested on me through the ballot to kick them out of power if they fail to bring the required change.

TruthisOut:Sorry for bringing politics here. But I'd rather get a better govt that will make the whole country move forward than a failed govt just so I achieve my NLNG ambition - an ambition which will then be very selfish. With a new govt, the recruitment will even go on as planned as long as NLNG can prove that the recruitments were for the growth of the company and in good spirit for the betterment of the country. #MyOpinion |
In the midst of all the anticipation, something that looks like some good news here >>> http://www.punchng.com/business/energy/china-imports-more-lng-from-nigeria/ We all pray Q1 will be a possibilty. Amen. |
This Wendell Simlin no dey hear word oh. Can't you just maintain on your lane? By the way, £1 sold at N310 today at the parallel market. Does Jona want to sit tight in power till £1 is exchanged for N419? |
Well, the truth remains that some funds were missing. Also, one must understand the limitations of auditors in cases like this. They work with whatever is provided and only can point to a variance when it is unexplained. If Jonathan will do the right thing right now, he should immediately fire the Minister of Petroleum. She ought to have been suspended as soon as the issue was raised. With more scrutiny of public officials and encouragement of whistleblowers, the country will move in the path of progress and transparency. God bless Nigeria. |
Dumb as they come. The only painful thing is some gullible people will be swayed by this. It should actually be A vote for Jonathan is a wasted vote! Jokers. |
Everyone has to watch this video. At least, it refreshes our memory and reminds us of what we have collectively endured as a people over the last 5 years. We can't take more. We shouldn't take more. The poverty is of epic proportion despite our collective wealth and the fact that God blessed us the last few years with crude oil prices that averaged over $110 per barrel. If the 'good times' were still badfor the masses, what will befall us in the coming times when crude prices will hover around $50? Tears almost stream down one's face when the guys in the interview where they killed a stranded whale said "I eat it yesterday but my stomach worry me but I enjoy the fish" Another said "I used it to do some suya, very delicious. It is smelling? The smell does not mean anything!" The other one said "We hope another fish will come so that we can pounce on it very well" Thank God February is here. Our destiny is in our hands. We shall overcome! God help us all! Cc Seun Barcanista...kindly move thread to FP |
Better! GMB all the way! One has to wonder though, because your supporters are TANishing your remaining goodluck with messages like the one below. You have tried. We have endured. We know the work is hard. So we'll relieve you. First by our PVCs on February 14, then finally on May 29.

AIT even forgot to clean up their own mess by leaving the IP addresses that voted multiple times for GEJ...

The great thing about this age is that most people are educated and don't just swallow big pills of lies and rumours. This is 2015, not 1906. Well, most people are aware of the AIT online poll which was on recently until it was pulled down for apparent reasons. AIT had their own version of the story and even went ahead to provide their 'underlying facts', plus an accompanying cover letter.... Well, truth caught up with those AIT lies! Follow the tweets below for more... @gbengasesan ©

I just came across this picture on FB. Can someone help verify if this is true? Or is it that the government is taking us all for a ride by commissioning the same set of Transformation Trains everywhere? A time-stamped picture of the trains at the location will be great.

Lets see how this plays out... Lemme get my copy on time sha! |
Take heart bro.... I pray God'll grant you the strength to pull through this time and come out better refined. Cheers. |
airsaylongcon: You have been doing you research! I call it ITEC I have got an issue with caring though. While all the others i.e integrity, teamwork and excellence are all nouns, caring is a verb. So I said to myself is NLNG trying to pass a message by using a verb there? They could have used a noun like compassionate(or empathy). Just something to ponder onI believe that caring is an adverb and a noun and not a verb. |

DPlacement: Training is dependent of job function. The engineers in Production were sent on foreign training immediately as the they would be unable to perform without the requisite training. Foreign training is available to officer level staff once in every two years after confirmation. Any exceptions will usually require justifications.Great! Appreciate all your help. God bless. |
Hi Dplacement, I am glad I can get to utilize this last opportunity of getting to know more about the NLNG and the coming AC from you. I stumbled on this thread last week after the mail and had to read a bulk of the comments... The only sad thing is I missed out on the tsunamied 200 pages. Okay, so to my inquiries... 1. In some few sentences, can you lay down what the NLNG experience is like - working, living, exposure, international opportunity, training, etc.? 2. Please help with a brief description of the job description and what is expected of GTs. 3. By remuneration, can you help place NLNG in the hierarchy of 'big' Oil and Gas companies? You can just mention a number, say number 3... (I have Shell, Total, Mobil, Chevron, NNPC, ...., in mind) 4. What percentage of candidates will be successful from the current crop of successful ACians? 5. We have had 'tips' on what to expect from the AC, however, can you kindly provide another few sentences on what we should build our expectations on? 6. According to you, Once you're good, you're good! That notwithstanding, what can you point to as the cutting edge to your success at your AC? 7. It took LNG 7 long years to recruit GTs again. Is this a trend or it was associated with particular issues they had? 8. Where will the AC take place? 9. I've read a lot about issues relating to Federal Character here. Can you kindly clarify? 10. After these couple of years, how will you describe your NLNG opportunity? Is it something you'll do all over again? These are my 10 submissions. Some guys have asked related questions and you're free to ignore whichever warrants such treatment. Despite people who go on claiming they know you and dine with you daily (pun intended), we all appreciate you and would love to meet you soon. Thanks a bunch, Dplacement! |

collynzo2: It is funny how the ref stopped giving meaningless freekicks after our players gave him a good shout down.I thought I was the only one who saw that... |
chess guru: Hmmm what about this oneYou explained it just as it is. Because engineers worldwide go on churning out new technologies, our social sciences and arts peeps don't know the ingenuity that go into those designs. That was an invention, in all sense of the word.... |
ochallo: It's amazing to see my former lecturer's names in print, and i am glad ibiyemi has been able to come up with something after over 7 years that i left that hellhole of a department. Ibiyemi was almost going mad over all these projects, i am surprised though that no students name was mentioned, i am very sure some students would have definately worked on it. Of the 3 lecturers in electrical mentioned above, avazi is the only good lecturer with a human heart.^^^true. I graduated some years back and all project students under Ibiyemi did something on biometrics. But how many students does he want to recognise? Its all good. |
Nice one Prof. He was my supervisor back in school. I'm into Robotics and Automated Controls now too...hoping to Invent soon. God bless Nigeria and the talents therein. |
