MEANING OF SEMESTER COUNT

Semester Count is the number of semesters you have spent in NOUN including your current semester. For example, if you are in 100Level second semester, it means you have spent two semesters in NOUN. Therefore, your semester count is two.

You will be asked your semester count when registering on the portal.

If you are in 300L first semester, your semester count is 5.

Below is the meticulous breakdown.

100L first semester, semester count = 1
100L second semester =2
200L first semester =3
200L second semester = 4
300L first semester = 5
300L second semester = 6
400L first semester = 7
400L second semester = 8

it seems the essence of the semester count is to know the amount to deduct for compulsory fee for the semester. As a new student, One (1) would be their semst count and 40k Wu b deducted. but as for ur own case, as a returning student, 18k Wu be deducted so I think u shu write 3 as ur semester count.

I registered a course and the exam, and as at yesterday, it wasn't showing in my courses even though other registered courses were showing. But just now, the course is showing in my portal when I click "your courses". So, I advise you go back to your portal and check. Login and click "your courses". Then click the preview of your registered courses and exams. You should see the courses then.

TMA means TUTOR MARKED ASSESSMENTS. It is a NOUN QUIZ written only when you have registered your courses and exams. Start doing it as soon as you register your courses and exams. It is submitted in the school portal. TMA contains four parts in each courses you register. It part contains 1-20 questions. it can be submitted on your portal.
